    Green is my favourite colour, so I have to have some green in nearly every room. I find it calming. I like lots of white and taupe, too. We have a small house, so we like to keep it light and fresh. I really enjoy seeing your table settings. They are always inspiring.

    What a lot of thought and curation to produce these videos. Very grateful for your efforts! And I am definitely another vote for Cinnamon Slate! I connected with it as soon as I saw it.

      It depends on the use, the place, the moment and the mood.
      In winter, I need warm colours, such as yellow and camel. In summer, cooler colours avoid me to feel to much warm.
      For wearing, I prefer green.
      Anyway, the most important is to feel well.
      Happy Eve feast and happy New Year too.

    Hi Suzie! Happy Blessed New Year, dear! ❤ Cinnamon Slate. I've been teetering the idea of a brownish purple paint for a couple of years, although haven't done. May do, but more money that considers, within the room. Thank you for sharing!

    We are moving from an 200 year old farm house to beach house it will involve colour drenching for the first time

    I live on the west coast of Canada on Vancouver Island. We have a long grey and rainy fall, winter, and Spring. We recently moved into a home with that very dark, almost khaki green. It was incredibly depressing. My husband painted the house in Crisp Linen by Behr. Our mood improved immediately. I accented with blue and white. It’s a counterpoint to what’s going on outside.

    Can't say I like the boucle, puffy sofas and chairs. They already look dates to me. But liking the terracotta. In the end, I'm going for soft warm off-whites in my space, with deeper colours of rust red in the cushions and accents.

      I thought the boucle would be nice for winter and tried some throws first, thinking I could make slipcovers if I liked them. Stick tights and burrs are impossible to remove from it. We’re in the country and they cling to any one of us that ventures off the cut trail.

    I prefer a lighter color wall so sunlight is enhanced. To me the muted pale colors with a few darker accent pieces, pillows, etc is very chic

    Had to think about your question for a while. I don’t believe there is one color that “resonates” with me enough to consider “color drenching” a room with it. They all have merit and I enjoy a variety TOGETHER like a field of wildflowers or a blooming high country desert. Hues of natural greens cannot be beat. Sky colors of ultramarine and cerulean blues, with quinacridone yellow, oranges, magenta and violets are a natural choice as well. Even white, in nature has so much hue and value variability. Why pick just one!?

      @Fancy-p7z 6 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      You have more than one room, I hope. You can add different colors with furniture and accessories, rugs, etc. Sometimes color drenching is just right for the space.
      I like your embrace of all colors!

    I love white, our walls and ceiling are painted in chalk. Funny as I’m now in my 60’s I look at all the colours and think yep I had either walls or furniture painted in those colours.

      Same age range, but no white for me. Had enough of that during the rental phase of our life. Same white was on the walls at the nursing home and senior apartments of my parents. I’ll wait till then.

    Brown walls are depressing to me. Paint companies are just trying to make money by changing the color every year!

    • @janmorgan8478
      @janmorgan8478 18 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +12

      This is exactly why a new range comes out annually...for new home buyers, people wanting a change, most browns are quite warm, so if you live in the tropics you wouldn't go there, there's a colour for everyone, isn't it wonderful we're not all the same nor have the same taste!?

      I agree. Everything about "trends" is to make us feel outdated and in need to spend money so we can be "current". How about choosing colors that speak to each individual.

    I'm failing to see how these "trend" colors can be used when virtually all of your examples are predominately based on white, gray, pale blue, pink and pale green. Throwing one object that uses an "on trend" color into a design is not inspiring - it's the same old, same old "safe" crap we've been seeing for decades.
