Hi everyone! What did you think of this video topic? Would you be interested in more videos exploring different styles of artwork, including where to find vintage and antique pieces, as well as affordable options? xx
This was very informative and helpful. I have stacks of art store it away because I don’t really know where to put it. After watching this video I have a clear picture of what and how to incorporate this in my own home.
Thank you for doing art! Love to see one dedicated to photography art. I hung two 8”x12” photos in a corner, one on each wall but one’s higher than the other. Reminds me to look up. I’m not into traditional paintings, portraits or abstracts. Abstracts can make a room look fantastic but don’t make my heart sing. If I was doing a coastal look I still don’t think I’d do sailboats or ocean art as it would be too theme-y for me. I’d want art that maybe hint of coastal instead.
I love hearing about your approach to art and your preference for more subtle hints of a theme. I actually have quite a few framed photos at home as well. You make the most important point, in that whatever you select must make your heart sing! xx
Absolutely stunning as always. I have been looking high and low for some tapestry to hang on a wall in my bedroom 😂 beautiful sharing and very informative ❤❤❤
Hi Suzie! Wonderful guide advice 🙌 Thank you! I love a gallery wall of black and white, same frames, of family photos. Mirrors are a favorite of mine also, making yourself the artwork ☺️ or to enlarge room featured in. All of my artwork is on canvas, unframed. Kitchen, has purchased canvases of wine, cheese, a cherry, a torte dessert, and coffee, all individually. Otherwise, I just Can't seem to live without my own canvas work. Mainly people, with an abstract here and there. Much love my dear friend. Hoping all is well! ❤ Hugs
Dear Gina, thank you! Funny as I actually just installed exactly that in my hallway - a gallery wall of black and white, same frames, and family photos - very aligned! Love the sound of your artwork, especially your on creations. Have a beautiful week ahead xx
Being an artist, with very artistic friends, the most original display area I’ve seen was walls covered in short loop carpet. They used small curtain pleat pins to hang their art. Could be changed out endlessly and used for drying oil pieces.
Thank you Suzie for including one of my paintings (4:36) !! Thrilled to bits... and an excellent video for styling art! A very comprehensive look at all that should be considered. ❤❤
I believe people should choose a decorating style that brings them joy. This way, they naturally gravitate toward artwork and decor that they love, as it aligns with their personal taste. I would never recommend decorating in a style that doesn't resonate with someone.

This was beautiful, Suzie. I watched it with my finger on pause so that I could study my favourite images.
Thank you Debra! Are you drawn to a particular style of artwork? xx
@@suzieandersonhome Hi Suzie, I was very drawn to the painting of a staircase with dark walls and portraits on the wall. Yours, I believe.
me too and at 25 % speed
Love your video..in the hospital, your videos just what the doctor ordered.❤
Oh Marcia, I really hope you are healing well and can return to your lovely home soon xx

I love the unique designs of tapestries as well! xx
Love the tapestries in some of the photos! Wish I could get my hands on those!
Tapestries are so beautiful! You definitely don't see them often but they really are eye-catching xx
Great video. I love pictures and mirrors on walls. Art in the toilet is nice too,as it can look boring in there.😀
Yes mirrors are another very important element! So many beautiful options xx
Your videos are amazing.
Your support means a lot! Thank you for taking the time to watch Teresa xx

Very very interesting… and subtle ❣️
I'm glad you found it interesting! It's all about those small details xx
I have made so much artwork with acrylic paints on the gel plate….if I framed them all I could fill a hundred homes 😁
Nice! ❤
Thank you! xx
Wow, is this artwork you have created yourself? How special xx
@ yes….something I learned during lockdown. Silver lining 😁

You should only but /display art work because you like it and it gives you joy etc not because it fits the decor that's a big no no.

Yes, otherwise it just looks like a hotel space or resale staging.
