@@incrediblyhandsomeman395 no it goes straight into the sub layer. I have since moved house and tried everything to pry this out and it withstood everything. I had to grind it out in the end
@richardb2468 ha ha. Thanks. Couldn't tell, but looked like an integral garage, so presumed it had concrete foundations. Was the use of resin because you didn't have concrete, or would you have used resin either way? (Asking because I've got to fit a ground anchor on a driveway)
By the way Richard (and travel sick) In have bought a Harley Ultra Glide Trike, so i will be fitting two of these anchors in this way on my drive for added security.

@ if the concrete doesn’t crack on drilling then metal plugs are more than adequate however I usually use resin just to be super secure
