@@martinpena9791 Yep, process is the same for b2600i. Some minor differences like number of bolts in the flywheel. If you're already that far in you should do the rear main seal. That part is easy. Wrestling with the transmission under the truck when trying to mate it back up was the hardest part.
Another excellent how to video. When you removed the short console I noticed that there’s two brackets that hold it down to the floor. When I see these short consoles for sale on eBay they almost never have the brackets.
Really good video. Good about the shift bushing and rubber boots. You guys need eye protection when under a vehicle !!! Don't most clutch kits come with a new pilot bearing? In instances of clutch slippage, I always do a new pressure plate and disc, and get the flywheel done professionally or replace. I've run a Luk clutch kit for at least 15 years in mine.
None of the stuff we used was from a kit. It was from an engine that we pulled which had a fairly new clutch and pressure plate and flywheel on it. That's why we had to go in and get the pilot bearing. No stores around us had one but these both were fairly new.
That black rubber boot that was under the console is still available as Mazda part number : UB39-64-491. Mine was missing on my 1991 B2200 and I bought one on Amazon. They are also on eBay

Would you happen to have a Amazon link for the small plastic cup that you mentioned should be at the bottom of the shifter handle and when it’s missing it causes the shifter handle to be sloppy. Thanks
Great video and much appreciated, we’re struggling to get our new clutch system bled out and working properly…can you suggest anything?🙏🏻? We’ve tried bleeding the slave cylinder, the master cylinder, pumping, not pumping etc. You’re the Man, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated Master Mazda Mitch🙏🏻🙏🏻
Be sure to use a copper crush washer where the rubber line goes into the slave. New lines and new slaves do not always come with them and if you don't use one you'll get air in and never get it bled out. I usually gravity bleed everything since I'm by myself.

Yes each if the six bolts holding the flywheel on, go directly into the crank and through the crank. They normally come with sealant on them. You can use a bit of high torque grey RTV on the bolts
These trucks do not have an oil pan gasket it's just a machined surface and all you do is use gray RTV. Your leak could be coming from further above. Can the pan come off without removing transmission yes. There are two brackets that help stabilize the transmission that you may have to remove
I think you need to be more specific like do you mean it will not go into reverse without it grinding or something? Because reverse gear and 5th gear are on the same gear in the transmission it's really unrelated to swapping the clutch out.

Yes we forgot to wear our protection and we had it right there on the table.

Hsllo mate, thanks for tge video. Do we have to take out the gearbox to replace oil pan gasket? I cant see the very rear 2 bolts for the pan

So I replaced my clutch and I have no reverse anymore. I had reverse before I put the drive shaft back on. Now I do not. What do I do?

Bro how on earth did you get those 4 bolts out on top of the starter there’s no room to crack them any help?
I'm not sure of the ones you were talking about. My advice is to just get some extensions some wrenches and get after it just like we did.
Hey Mitch so when installing the pilot bearing will I have to knock it in until it stops? Or is there a specific depth it’s suppose to go in at?
Till it stops and you'll hear the pitch sound change. You will be able to tell it's bottomed out
