The Classic Coat looked like a very close match. Glad to see there is an option out there to touch up panels. I messaged you awhile back regarding that same thing. I actually pulled my dark grey radio bezel and had it scanned at a local body shop and found a match. I was able to do that base with a matte clear. Thanks for the great Mazda tech!!

I just did this exact job the other week.. my truck is a 93, I got those panels from an 86 in the junkyard. There are some differences apparently over the run of these trucks. The seatbelt hole is higher on the 93.. there was a hole on the right spot but it wasn’t threaded.. I had to weld a nut in. Not all the pins lined up either.. wish mine went as smoothly as yours .😅
Mine is a 90, and I am unsure what the donor parts came from, but I guess I got lucky. I had no idea about the difference in seatbelt bolt holes. Thanks.

My Nikki carburetor works perfectly after an expert (Rolf Lundblad, a man who has specialized in carburetors all his life)
have adjusted it. But the Mazda is frugal. I can have 4.5 acc. The car test but I only have 0.3 which is not good in the long run. I'm looking for an idle nozzle that Rolf can drill up a bit to get everything 100%. I like your videos. Very instructive and you speak clear English.

Love my lx b pillars and I had done my bolts before mininats and you can use them also on the tailgate cover. Multiple areas great coverage.

The stainless bolts are better I have a set of them washer ones and do look better but rust comes in quick due to humidity out here

I think it interrupts the black on your valve cover. Make it look too busy. Just my opinion. I would use black bolts.
I wanna do hood spacers on hinges but these trucks have studs on the hood instead of threaded for the bolts.smh.
I would like to do the same to my truck which wires to remove to would you happen a diagram of what which wires to remove

Mitch what are you using for hood insulation does it help with road noise engine noise?

I keep my fingers crossed. Hard to find here in Sweden.
I dont have a lot of parts and the original carb is not good, so you will not see a lot of support on the stock carb on this channel.

Now this is an experience only a few of you have gone thru. I have a VERY nice lowered B2200 painted and polished. It was so bouncy my truck split, the gap between the box and cab looks like an arrow tip from bottom up, frame is toast. Any suggestions?
Get a parts truck with a good frame and swap everything over?
@@MazdaMitch That's EXACTLY what I did before I read your message. I found a B2200 with a SOLID frame, the guy wants $750 and no body work is in need. I'm starting to wonder if I could buy do some cosmetic work and sell it cause it's all original.
Hey man I've been watching all the content of the mazda b series and I'm a fan of what you do I had this 89 b2200 for a while and I've been inspired by your work to get it going again and so I have been putting work and it's coming along but I have reached an error due to my impatience and I just cleaned the gas tank and I totally forgot what placement all the hoses had been and I do have a book that covers from 80 thru 90s but for some reason it doesn't have the exact layout as my 89 b2200 I have searched the internet for the same layout and I had not been able to find it, you think you could gimme some advice or point me in the right direction I had also recently taken out the stock carb and the vacuum lines that were not going to be used and installed a weber

When you lowered your truck, does it bounce hella crazy? Unless your on the freeway and it feels like it’s gliding. How do I make it so it don’t bounce so much. Mines is lowered 3”
And the cable cover dress up is cool. Matches the carb.
No it rides good. In previous videos there is some in cab footage and it rides nice. The key is to reindex the torsion bars so that it's low but rides like stock.
Hi Mitch, i have been looking everywhere for an answer and i can't seem to find one, i plan on buying a mazda b2200 and i wanted to know what the engine bay size is, i want to engine swap it but i don' t know if the engine i want will fit
Whatever engine you go with you may have to mod the engine bay to make it fit.

It's not a seat cover. It's stock buckets and had them redone. It costs $500 each.

You can do yours, it's just scuffed really good and I sprayed it with wrinkle paint.
