    Just wanted to say I’m glad I ran across your videos. I’m in the process of doing some similar modifications to my car, and it’s nice to see what’s worked for other people and actually see in a video how things are done. So I appreciate you taking the time doing what your doing. Keep it up man.

    Doing this exact setup on my 02 hybrid build. You just saved me an afternoon of figuring out where to run lines!

    Parker! I hope you changed the routing and style of that fuse holder for the amp power cable! Its way too close to that nice fuel line! I don't think I have to tell you what can happen? Keep modding bro, and keep on making the videos!

    Very nice man. 2 things i saw. Ya very tight where your regulator is. TOO TIGHT. The engine moves a lot. And your regulator is solid. So you could at worst spring a leak on your regulator. And of course dent and damage your pipe over time. Second thing be super careful with those stainless lines. They should never actually touch anything or they will act like a FILE. And grind right through anything they contact. Your engine vibrates…. And the lines will cut right through shit over time.
    Thanks for making this. Helped me figure out how to do my JDM Blob.

    Awesome video dude! Came across this as I am doing my research for a parallel fueling system with the stock rails - it was a 'suggested video' for me! Great job!

    Want to do the exact setup on sti. Please share where you bought your lines and AN fittings from. Part numbers would be great! Length of each hose would be awesome. Thanks!

    So you have your power supply dangling in your engine bay right next to the fuel system. You also have a hit uncovered turbo. But hey you have color coded hoses and a blow off valve.

  • @hanielcharles4976

    Do you recommend this set up on a automatic?

  • @pksystems4714
    @pksystems4714 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Could you not use a hard line to AN-8 adapter at the start of your braided lines, and eliminate that section of rubber hose, which looks like it isn't using a proper fuel injection clamp anyway?

    Hey Parker I’m trying to find the video on how you did the evap line delete. I’m doing this AN fuel line setup in my 03 wrx but that’s the biggest question I had. I wasn’t sure if there was somewhere you had to run the evap or how to get rid of it since every video I’ve watched only shows the feed and return but doesn’t mention anything on what to do with the evap coming from the firewall

    Hey, awesome video, I curious about how you eliminated the breather when you removed the stock fuel filter, did you just cap it off

    • @ParkerTheBasshead
      @ParkerTheBasshead  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes capped it off and I also removed the charcoal canister in the back and put a filter on the breather back there. I have another video on that

  • @Deputyd0803
    @Deputyd0803 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So, do you have a T or Y where the return lines come from each side fuel rail and back to the FPR?

  • @Carslol234
    @Carslol234 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I know this is an old video, but do you have the parts break down for this fuel line upgrade? did this eliminate the dreaded cold weather fuel smell for the WRX?

    • @AppleTheCake
      @AppleTheCake 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The "cold weather fuel smell" you're referring to is usually due to the rubber fuel line wearing down where it's secured to the hard-line; sometimes you can just tighten the clamp(s) under the intake manifold and it fixes the leak.

  • @T_Rebel0

    I notice you removed the power steering pump what did you do with the lines? Did you just loop them on the way up from the rack by the turbo/uppipe?

    • @ParkerTheBasshead
      @ParkerTheBasshead  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The power steering pump is still there. Just kinda hidden under the turbo inlet

    Where does your vacuum line run off the FPR run to m8?

    • @ParkerTheBasshead
      @ParkerTheBasshead  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      rick it’s the lower red hose that goes around the turbo coolant tank into the intake manifold

    How did u installed ur fitting and wht coolant hoses you use

    • @ParkerTheBasshead
      @ParkerTheBasshead  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The coolant hoses are G-Plus hoses. The fuel line fittings are AN fittings and there are lots of good videos on TH-cam on how to install them

      That Guy
      You’re dumb. This dude didn’t just a buy a kit and half assed slapped together. He did his own custom set up cheaper than any kit and he did it the proper way. All equal length lines, all the reducers used properly, he eliminated pressure drop and created equal flow and pressure to both rails. Solid video and good explanation. What are you mad about?
