They have this entire concert available and you can react to them live if it doesn’t get shut down by TH-cam. I have loved this band since 1984. Their original line-up of band members were like a well oiled machine pumping out fantastic music one after another. Their catalog goes from hard to ballads to emotional. They got pretty soft during the 1990-2010s, but the band regrouped in 2013 and went back to their original style-mix and their new albums are worth a listen. I recently saw them open for Judas Priest in an arena and then they headlined a small rock club in NYC to promote their new album. The song that always blows people away with Geoff's voice is - Take Hold Of The Flame (Live In Tokyo)

I have a playlist of all of the music videos filled in with concert footage for the tracks that didn't have videos. It's an incredible story, and I fell in love with it the first time I heard it! Their next album, "Empire" doesn't have a bad track on it, either. You need to pay attention to the footage in the videos, as well as the lyrics, so you'll likely have to listen to Mindcrime more than once to absorb it all.
Note: I don't have any of those videos on my channel, just the playlist I assembled from other sources. But here it is...

THANK YOU for doing more Queensryche! Loved your reaction, and happy you enjoyed it. Take note, that Queensryche is in the subgenre of Progressive Metal: meaning deeper lyrics, concept album and more sophisticated instrumentation. BTW, my 1st concert was Kiss in February 1985 and Queensryche opened the show, so Queensryche is technically the first band I ever saw live.

Queensryche "Take Hold of the Flame" (Live) Tokyo 1984. That's always the version people go to. That's your next banger of a song from these guys!

One of THE best bands to come out of the 80's. Their debut album the Warning is one of THE best metal debut albums period. They are what you would call prog metal. Geoff Tate is one of THE best rock vocalist ever.

The entire Operation:Mindcrime album is awesome. A concept album, each song telling part of the story.
Try also from this record: Revolution Calling and The Mission.

Queensryche is the greatest band that nobody knew about. They weren't mainstream but now, 40 years later, this album is as relevant as it was in the late 80's. Maybe more so.

Queensryche was remarkable. Their concept albums, Geoff Tate's voice, the musical talent... make them one of the greats. On the softer side, they have one very special song in particular, called Silent Lucidity.

This song was from a concept album called "Operation: Mindcrime". Another great song from that album is "Suite Sister Mary". That song is sort of the centerpiece of the album.

There are tons of great Queensryche songs, one of the singer(Geoff Tate) best live performances was in Japan back in 1984. His vocal range is really showcased in Take Hold Of The Flame, Live in Tokyo 1984. React to that version.

When I was 20 years old I saw them live. They began with "Queen of the Ryche" and ended with "Take Hold of the Flame". They were amazing! Geoff Tate has such a beautiful voice. It's hard to belive that was 35 years ago.

For not knowing the context of the song, you both did very well with the reaction. Even if you do it on your own time, I beg you to please listen to the entire album (in order). It's a fascinating story that won't disappoint. Just a tip, pull up the lyrics so you won't miss anything.

Their previous album "Rage For Order" is my favorite. So dark and moody. It's like an industrial nightmare. From "Screaming In Digital", "Neue Regel" and the somber closing track "I Will Remember", it's a haunting masterpiece that was way ahead of its time.

I saw them opening for Metallica in '88. They were touring behind this album. They were amazing. Do yourselves a favor: set aside an hour and listen to Operation: Mindcrime straight through. Epic storytelling, fantastic music.

Great song and band, Queensryche is one of the best bands of the 80s and the original lineup was dope right from the start with the original EP, do Queen of the Reich and the Lady Wore Black from it, incredible bangers right away. The are a great band to look at, series of classic hard rock/metal/prog records of musical magnificence, Operation Mindcrime is one of the best concept albums ever! Enjoy. 🎵🎸🎤🎸🎶
