This is an awesome channel and I love your business model Clint. When you said “Bottom line is that your name is on the equipment you sell” , that did this old man’s heart a lot of good . You should be very proud of yourself, I know I am. I especially appreciate the extra mile you went for Dirt Perfect, perhaps a lot further than you should have and definitely further than most businesses would have gone. Thank you Clint.
I think that attachment on that cat excavator is for setting sea walls. We build sea walls here on lake front river front or beach front properties to keep erosion from washing out the soil. The sea wall panels are kinda large corrugated sections that hook together but you push them into the dirt
Thanks for taking us along. Teaching us what to look for in each piece of equipment is something many of us can't thank you enough for. You are a stand up man Clint and I enjoy all of your videos.
When I worked for the local Cat dealer here in Ontario Canada you always knew when a auction was coming up, all the used equipment got a paint job and new decals. It did increase the value of the equipment and sometimes by a lot !!
Getting to see how equipment guys looks at auction items and what they look for is really interesting. Thank you and your Dad for allowing us behind the seens.
I particularly love watching your auction videos and how you explain and point out good and bad points on this equipment. Just shows that there will be lots and lots of people buy something with a nice clean paint job only to get home and watch it literally disintegrate and fall to pieces due to obvious problems that were hidden....... Thanks for the video's you post !!!
That Airstream 310 has an Isuzu Turbo Diesel in it. After my dad passed away we had an estate sale and the Airstream went fast. They are vintage but very nice considering it was made in 1982. My family still sold it for $35k with only 15k miles
Appreciate all the knowledge you are sharing. Makes me feel even better about purchasing from you guys. We get the benefit of not buying someone else’s problems!
Ford L9000s are one of my favorite trucks, not the prettiest but they are pretty solid. And the best part is being tall my knee hits the steering wheel before the clutch engages, so it makes sitting at long lights nice. I always enjoy auction videos, and the tips on what to look for on stuff.
Another well done Video Clint, can thank you enough for sharing your knowledge on all this equipment! I’m sure in the future I will be glad I watched this series.
Some of those will bust slabs of concrete and tear steel apart and they have some similar to the one on that excavator that will shear steel cut it up .
Thanks for letting us tag along bro we got nothing to this scale down here in NZ, even display shows would not have quarter of what was there. Safe travels
Looks like that they had a little bit of everything . Some pretty good looking stuff, some that needs a little bit of work, and some that needs a whole lot of work and some that was just wore out and some junk . It was interesting to watch you check the equipment out and give us pointers of what to look for when buying used equipment . Thanks for taking us along to the auction . I have enjoyed these videos and all the information. I never knew you before that Dirt Perfect sent me your way, and I am glad cause I have enjoyed all your videos, it has been very interesting watching them, does your dad help you working on any of the boxes equipment that you buy and sell or maybe test and check it out after that you work on it . I will see you all later, so be careful and stay safe on the road trips and good luck at the auctions . As always, Jeffrey !!!
Hi from uk guys👋 wow some great suff in this you guys had a 👉""field""👈 day and there a great array of stuff in this auction really be good stuff but in among all this I couldnt seperate from what I wanted or what I would think needed I would get carried away tbh just watching am like 😍 old new good and rough but great tour must be acres of stuff here even if bought rough you could buy parts and build it from parts on site too 👍 wonder if some companies got hit by covid and liquidated? Seems to be few from companies and bulk too but thoroughly enjoyed this so thanks for your time and be safe see you soon👋
This is a sweet channel. I love that old iron. that’s a sharp Pete you’ve got! I stumbled across your channel the other day. I had watched a couple episodes before I realized your in Nashville In. I just assumed it was Tenn. I’m also from central In.
That crane about that as well when hurricanes happen in Pensacola and they have one set up at the beach they don't dismantle and move that sees water well over the cab
I was down in Florida when Katrina happened they use d8s to push the beach and some end up being flooded over in hurricanes so that's one way they see ocean water
Taguchi information is hard to find, Ebay seller is about all that came up. Hydraulic Fork to grab material and pretty worthless but they do make one with a rotator which would improve functionality. If I had to guess they stuck it on the excavator to get rid of it......😁
@C&C Equipment would love to hear your knowledge looking at the smaller excavator units, and what to look for and how you approach evaluating these units in the range of 4-6000 pound class, those kind of units often come from renting firms and probably has different issues and wear added on top maybe?
Those cat rollers are so high dollar especially with a cab! When I first went looking for one I could not believe how much money they were going for. My guys can freeze there ass off without a cab for that kind of money😂 I did buy an old dynapac one with the removable pad foot and those are a mother to change. Well it was on the one I had anyway. Finally just bought a smooth and a pad foot 90s models, great video Thanks!!!
It certainly appears you can handle auction equipment as good as LD18 handles an excavator, with the exception of your bidder number as he seems to handle that well also! Thanks for the schooling on looking over the equipment. How many days ahead of time do you and your dad show up before to hunt? And that auctioneer talks almost as fast as DP.

Thanks
I really appreciate your insight into how you look at the machinery. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Thanks
That is a taguchi grasper on the cat 311. Its a general perpose grapple for demoltion and logging
I think that attachment on that cat excavator is for setting sea walls. We build sea walls here on lake front river front or beach front properties to keep erosion from washing out the soil. The sea wall panels are kinda large corrugated sections that hook together but you push them into the dirt

I've whatch you work on a bunch of dozers and I've watched Chris dig plenty of ponds I'm a fan of both of you
Getting to see how equipment guys looks at auction items and what they look for is really interesting. Thank you and your Dad for allowing us behind the seens.

Yep old school, in those days that top line Equipment , starting pay thru union operator$ 5.25 per hour , that was big money in those days.
Wow
Appreciate all the knowledge you are sharing. Makes me feel even better about purchasing from you guys. We get the benefit of not buying someone else’s problems!
I would love to see more auction trip videos
The word "Tinkerbell" displayed on that itty bitty old dozer was really amusing!
Those microphones pick up that rattling on your golf cart great !
You do a lot of work to get your deals. Can’t believe the price that they sell for sometimes. Thanks for sharing
Nice tour. 😊😊😊😊😊
That is a concrete break he grabbed hold of concrete and it'll crush concrete for your recycler
Seeing all the equipment at the auctions is awesome….. Actual Auction footage is even more Awesome….Hope to see more of both !!
Its a demolition grab for pulling down brickwork or concrete ,, inside that grad there will be a little shear for cutting reo
Excited to have you out for the auction!

Great job filming all that scrap Clint. Hope you found some DEALS! You make em look NEW!!!
34:44 that whater truck might have been something for @Copperheadmarine
Cool streemliner . 👌🏻
Tilt bucket! 😆 🤣 😂
Craig, it was An Oliver Green paint job they sprayed on that Tractor! And was that a demo grapple on that 311 Cat! A Demo/Cutting Head!
You gave everybody a what's up on a lot of that machinery to look for is the look for good job
Claw is used for pine tree hauling for papermill work.
Thanks for this. Good education. Everything is sky high anymore.
Thanks
From 🇬🇧 thank you for giving a detailed examination of used machines. I know what to look for now.
21.38 Looks like a Grasper VL its like a thumb but with out the bucket, demo/loading work
Yeah, looks very much like a demo grab.
Great video Clint enjoyed watching the action and showing what to look for I appreciate you sharing this information 🇺🇲
this auctions is like a dream for me as I was be amazed among this machines
That old cat loader 😍😍😍
some real nice looking machines and some real dogs dressed up for a quick sale, thanks for sharing this trip.
Another well done Video Clint, can thank you enough for sharing your knowledge on all this equipment! I’m sure in the future I will be glad I watched this series.
Thanks
I believe that attachment is just a simple grapple! Work well for dismantling and clean up.
The grapple at 21:40 that you're asking about, is used in Japan for house demolition, ........smaller wooden houses.
Some of those will bust slabs of concrete and tear steel apart and they have some similar to the one on that excavator that will shear steel cut it up .
Thanks for the tour!

Dad does take some of the equipment and run it
He also helps me hauling stuff from time to time
Cool series of videos. Your knowledge of the machinery extraordinary. Thanks for bringing us along.
Great video Clint. I really enjoy your auction videos. Thanks for sharing.
Loading logs the excavator with the 24" Graber
Another good video. This video should be watched by anyone even thinking of bidding.

Rail tie handlers have shorter jaws than what was on that excavator. That looked more like a demolition jaw, of some sort.
I’ve gotten to where I enjoy watching all this auction stuff. Thanks for sharing Clint
I think everybody would watch you check out every dozer.
Clint that set of jaws you looked at the" Taguchi" usually used in demolition cut through most concrete brick and steel I believe.
Its amazing what a paint job will do. It usually means they are trying to cover up something
This is a sweet channel. I love that old iron. that’s a sharp Pete you’ve got! I stumbled across your channel the other day. I had watched a couple episodes before I realized your in Nashville In. I just assumed it was Tenn. I’m also from central In.
Cool
I’m on vacation here from Massachusetts . A Lot of equipment down here in Florida. Probably cost an arm and a leg to ship soon with these fuel prices.
It’s not cheap for sure
Fantastic video, you know your stuff. I really enjoy watching all your videos.
Wow everything from soup to nuts wow
Love the auction videos.
Auctioneers must learn that pitch on another planet! 😆 🤣 😂

Jeez, a bit of everything
That crane about that as well when hurricanes happen in Pensacola and they have one set up at the beach they don't dismantle and move that sees water well over the cab
Good video.
I am not sure but that one attachment looks similar to the ones loggers use to move logs around.
Gotta hand it to Clint, you know your stuff!!
likely for grabbing sheet piles out they'd have a vibratory one to put um in
I was down in Florida when Katrina happened they use d8s to push the beach and some end up being flooded over in hurricanes so that's one way they see ocean water
Thanks for the ride along. Thanks for the insight on machine concerning what to look for.
Between Equipment auctions and your awesome shop at C&C equipment, maybe you found your youtube calling haha i enjoy the content... take care guys
Thanks
at 39.10.. neat old onan generator.. kinda looks like a 60s ek, but possibly bigger with a wakashaw or continental gasser.. good old sets..

Taguchi information is hard to find, Ebay seller is about all that came up. Hydraulic Fork to grab material and pretty worthless but they do make one with a rotator which would improve functionality. If I had to guess they stuck it on the excavator to get rid of it......😁
It is used for demolition work, it will bust-crush concrete and wood and tear steel apart and so on .
C and c equipment auction time with drirt perfect. 😊
Used backhoes I've seen around the Midwest have been almost worn out!
@C&C Equipment would love to hear your knowledge looking at the smaller excavator units, and what to look for and how you approach evaluating these units in the range of 4-6000 pound class, those kind of units often come from renting firms and probably has different issues and wear added on top maybe?

Dad look like he knows alot about that one
I think the 310 on the Airsteam means 31' long.
Good stuff, keep it coming. God bless and be safe. 🇺🇸
21:19 that's hydraulic fork use on demolition jobs
Clint thanks for sharing! Kevin
Thanks for watching

I was wondering where Chris got is Dozer now I know
You can list anything at our website free, including heavy equipment. We're just getting started, check it out.
Older stuff the best
Love the videos.
Thanks
It certainly appears you can handle auction equipment as good as LD18 handles an excavator, with the exception of your bidder number as he seems to handle that well also!
Thanks for the schooling on looking over the equipment. How many days ahead of time do you and your dad show up before to hunt?
And that auctioneer talks almost as fast as DP.
That’s funny
Ole ld18 had my number memos for sure lol
@@C_CEQUIPMENT I wouldn’t mind LD18 owing me a favor.
