it is very good to see that there is an honest equipment dealer around doing the repairs correctly and doing a very good job .thanks for showing your hard work please keep up the good work..
What you do is not boring to me. I’m retired now and can watch you all day. When ma call me to lunch or dinner I just press pause and come back to you. You guys are great, reminds me of my younger day. Thanks a lot.
I really appreciate you welding the sprocket. Extra touch of quality. Dragging the gravel completely buried that nut you dropped and have been looking for just because. Thanks for your videos!
I like your idea of welding of the sprocket segments together , never thought of this , DUH . When I was doing this , it was sprocket rings ,very few segments unless like you I had use ITR stuff and not Berco . Nice to see a young guy that knows his stuff !!
I love that you do these longer videos showing so much of the project watching you work makes me miss doing this kind of work if only I was young agian
Good Video...! I spent 18 years at NC Machinery in Anchorage -- 6 years keeping track of customer u'carriage (sic) and selling repairs. C&C shows results of your Dad's teaching you operating / machinist / sales skills...! High quality, thorough, skilled work in all your enterprises -- Congratulations...! The whole operation is extremely well-done by your family and employees...!
+C&C Equipment: Another well-scripted/informative/extremely interesting video of the work/effort/time/pieces-parts required to repair/restore the J Deere 700J tractor/bulldozer that had/has been sorely _mishandled/mistreated_ by a number of nefarious _'loggers'_ . It would seem that these _'logger-types'_ have a good deal to learn re: proper handling of their equipment so as to avoid the *_often-severe/costly damage_* they cause in the day-to-day _use/abuse_ inflicted on these machines. In any event, *_'well done'_* to the guys of C&C Equipment for their work & presentation! Both of these are given/get the usual YT 'thumbs-up', as requested. In addition, both work & presentation are hereby awarded the much sought/highly regarded *_"Old Curmudgeon"_* three 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 award, as is so richly deserved for excellence in channel production. Keep videos of this caliber comin', guys! 🤗🤗🤗
It's very Impressive watching you do all this kind of work and all the working knowledge you seem to have on the inners and outers of working on these at your young age
Really enjoyed the video, it's good to see an old, tired, broken machine brought back to life better than new. You guys don't take any short cuts and do a 100% professional job, great work well done. 👍👍
Any young kid that wanted to learn a whole lot about diesel and heavy equipment ought to be asking you for an internship. They could learn a hell of a lot working for you folks.
I remember repairing/replacing broken rollers and links in the field back in the 70's and it was a tough & time consuming job (always needed something you didn't have). You guys make it look easy, however, like you said "hard to quote it, cause you never know what your getting into". Such fun to watch! Thanks
Good job guys. It's great seeing you and Kevin working together so well - and it doesn't hurt you guys keep the banter at the right level, without being insulting to one another. Also, a man who can find humor in and admit mistakes is a top notch guy/boss. Well played, Clint!
Nice job, the 700 J looks to be a decent sized machine. Always nice to see you never stop doing quality work even down to removing broken taps from trying to clean bolt holes out. That was an excellent idea welding segments together on the drive end, never have seen that done before, but it makes sense to do it that way. I think that would help transfer stress loads a little more evenly across the drive hub. Thanks for the ride along sir.
Once again Clint shows less experienced mechanics the right way to do things. I am in awe of your ability but then it is not your first rodeo. Keep this type of videos coming, I just love them. All the best Derek from aberdedeen Scotland
Cliff, you seem to have such a great relationship with your worker and watching you and Kevin working and having fun at the same time is great to watch. Watching all the labor and skill involved with the equipment you work on shows how much you really do. Thanks for the video and will watch all you put out.
Another fine job Clinton and Kevin! It’s so good to see a guy do a quality job correctly! It’s nice seeing good moral in a workplace starting at the top and it follows all way down to the bottom!! Thanks for sharing your videos!
WOW, I had no idea how long that takes. Also had no idea how those things were designed. I would hate to get that bill. LOL Very cool to see. People like you are a dying breed. You can fix anything. Funny how some people can`t even boil water.
Super cool video of the undercarriage work. The easy going working relationship with Clint and Kevin make this enjoyable to watch. Please show more of these type videos!
I think you are doing the right thing and showing everybody including me how you work on the dozers and everything else in the shop that is what you do and it's very not only entertainment it is educational for a lot of people. Keep doing what to do best
Most every kid likely remembers being in school watching some teacher lecture and saying to themselves, "I'll never use that in the real world" but the teachers often have the last laugh. I remember in science class 7th or 8th grade our teacher was able to pass a metal ball though a metal ring that was too small to let it pass. He then heated the ring in the Bunsen burner and cooled the ball and then the ball passed right through the ring with no problems. Very interesting and got our attention. Here our real heroes are doing something similar in the real world. 👍
Clint you do great work that's and art a lot of people lost today its why your doing so well and people come to you keep up the quality work oh and Kevin dose good work to
Great video, as a retired engineer I really enjoy seeing how the equipment is repaired in detail. Great work ethic from you both, doing the job correctly and not cutting corners. Look forward to the next one, thanks Clint and Kevin.
It's a joy watching you and your crew restoring that ridiculously abused machine. I'll never understand why someone would pay what that Dozer cost then not even try to do basic maintenance on it. A little bit of time and materials and that machine should have been good to go much longer than the few years they owned it. A prime example of a Logger who takes good care of his equipment is Logger Wade. As excavator operators that's Dirt Perfect Mike and Letsdig18 Chris. It's why yours and there sub number is so high. It's a joy watching you posts.
Person gets so much information how these machines work how they are built and repaired compared to other channels that actually use them. Hard to comprehend steel on steel and the wear and tear.
Clint 👍on the auction buys was at auction today my buddy bidding on old 555 newholland skid steer went for $7950.00 with over 7000 hrs prices are crazy he stopped bidding at $5500.00
Hell yes i do like this stuff it looks like you and Kevin make a great team you're funny you get along well thank God sometimes you're funny sometimes you ain't but we can get along with that it's all good you guys have a wonderful day or weekend
Hi ftom uk guys 👋👍 great episode today lads very interesting watchingbhow much effort goes into this sort of maintenance and pleased you got the tap out (snapper) thought it might of jammed itself with it snapping but thanks guys love the in depth uploads👌 thanks for your time and be safe see you soon👍👋
In your business experience and knowledge goes a long way towards being the best in the business. Congratulations on your ability to teach others how to do a job correctly.
Oh and before I forget awsome job with welding those sprockets into pretty much a solid SPROCKET it would be cool too make a jig out of some one inch plate drilled and sized like the final drive and you could do a a nice solid weld completely then just a little finish grinding were the flange surface meets up on the final drive then you would have a even better finished product. Great content as always
When you were backing that 700 out of the shop you had the camera mounted to see underneath and it looked like the underside of the dozer was missing a chunk of belly pan in the back
it is very good to see that there is an honest equipment dealer around doing the repairs correctly and doing a very good job .thanks for showing your hard work please keep up the good work..
Thanks
Thumbs up. Great Americans doing the work that keeps our country productive. Enjoyable to watch.

You really care for the equipment. As well as the customer! Doing the right thing too. Nice to see there are dealers like you out there.

Damn good dozer mechanics !! 👍👍
Any young kid that wanted to learn a whole lot about diesel and heavy equipment ought to be asking you for an internship. They could learn a hell of a lot working for you folks.
Even though it's tough work, doing undercarriage overhauls is a rewarding job, as long as it isn't all you do.
I'll bet you spend alot of time at your bank. Your monthly parts and expenditures has to be mind bending. Good job and very nice shop.

Welding a bead around the inside of the bearing race will shrink it, and the race will slide out almost on it's own.
Yep
