It's been brought to my attention that the audio is in mono in this video and I apologize for that. I usually record in stereo, but did a firmware update on my mics the day before I recorded this one. It seems that it changed a setting and was recording in mono with a backup channel. I have addressed this now and future videos will be back in stereo!

@@ShyneflowLC I do recommend it, with some cravats. One that you have the money to do it, as you know it is not inexpensive. Two you really want to get into the hobby. Third, you do a lot of research, which sounds like you are doing. This has been my easiest printer to get going, be careful and follow the setup instructions. I would suggest to get the printer tested before trying the AMS if you get both.

IMHO the best starter printer bang for the buck is the Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro. I've had nothing but success with it from the first test print. Setup was easy, it's not blazing fast but for churning out entire tables worth of wargaming terrain cheap it saves buckets of money. I am using Lychee slicer and it's been easy as pie, and isn't a printer that needs a bunch of upgrades. Self levelling, offset was super easy to set, direct drive filament feeder that is easy to load. As someone who wanted to print more than fiddle around with the printer it's been a good purchase.

The printing is the easy part. Most every item I've felt 3D printing might work for would have to mate up with an uneven surface of compound, irregular curves and angles. I've been searching the web for info on how to design parts to fit things that aren't flat without success.

Which filament pla would you recommend using for printing figures or sculptures? (Or printing in general)

Hello, I'm liking your channel. I'm intrigued by the whole 3d printing concept. Question... Is a laser scanning system required to print items that are not available? Specifically, I would like to print various car engines for scale models. What would that require? Please advise. Thanks, Greg

So much I don't understand - let's start with this: I make over dolls and need to print accessories...I have basic 'models' which I can use as the base, but would like to add features (shapes for detail). Is this possible or do I need to start everything from scratch?

For filaments of high quality what do you recommend for durability and less likely to crack

For my first printer I was considering the Ender 3 V3 KE, then started leaning towards the Neptune 4 Pro. Which do you recommend for my first printer? (Even if its a completely different one)

Lmao I have one earbud in so I had no idea anything was wrong.
For real though, thanks for this video. It was clear and concise, and helped this process seem less overwhelming. Now I can actually understand what people are talking about when they say slicer, pla, stl, etc.
