Just did the LCAs on a 2010. Legit took 2 hours on each side and if you read forum’s and comments some guys spending all day. Here’s how I did it Remove the calibers, caliber brackets, and rotors. This will completely lighten the hub to all you to maneuver it around when time to install the LCA. Disconnect the strut and stabilizer from the hub as well. Next put the ball joint in first. Repeat ball joint in first. Slip the bolt through install nut but don’t tighten. Now slide the LCA in from back to front. Spinning it in. Take a rubber hammer and tap it into place. Use a screw driver to line the the holes up, then put in your bolts buy turning them in and adding your nut. I read a Nissan techs recommendation on this buried in an Altima’s comments. Tried it and it worked perfectly! Good luck with it.
I bought new struts, new mounts and bought compressor and did the job my self. After I went for a drive test, my problem was finish, except now, there a boing noise on the driver side when I'm turning to the max...Maybe I put the coul upside down, will check it out. Any comments?

I’m thinkin this is the problem with my 2008 Sentra, it’s a deep rubbing sound coming from the front passenger tire. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Great vid.
Do you hear the noise at low speed? You may want to check behind the rotor to make sure that the dust shield is not hitting the rotor or the rust on the rotor. Thanks for watching.

I just replaced those links on my 2014 maxima. First time ever. I heard you say that their is a left and right. Yep I didn’t know. After install I drove it and I hear a pop here and there at slow speed going thru uneven grounds. Would that be the problem that I installed the wrong?
good video man i wish i had seen this sooner, i never inspect the links and swaybar for some reason i always forget, i stop looking at the lower control arm... then im kinda like ehhh i cant figure it out haha but this showed good inspection its really going to help my inspections and diag thanks again
How hard is it to do the swaybar bushings you were talking about? And givin the links and bushing brackets are off, can the swaybar be pulled out thru the side?
My nissan versa makes a clunk when you take off and when you make a dead stop only... no clunging on bumps. I removed the stabilizers, still the clung noise is ongoing. What could be the issue?
What are the torque specs? I installed sway bar links on the driver and passenger side this morning and now the car vibrates like crazy at speeds over 70mph. I torqued them down to 45 ft. lbs because that was the closest torque spec to my 2010 that I could find online. Thanks !
That doesn't sound like a sway bar link issue, you may just notice that symptom more after the repair. The sway bar does just that prevent swaying. Start by checking your tires making sure they are balanced
Yes it is possible . I would recommend that you check the wheel balancing first and then check the front end to make sure that everything is ok. Thanks for watching.
Hay. I've seen in your brake replacement videos that you say to put the caliper pins in the same hole from which they are removed. I removed the pins from the rear calipers of my 2010 Maxima and didn't pay attention to their location - ugh. Does it really matter which location the pin with the black tip goes into? Thanks Jim!!!
Bill Link yes it does matter, I've made the mistake of not putting them back in right spot and my rim kept getting hot and couldn't figure out why untill switched the pins around
jim start using power tools. WTF do you think us DIYers are living in the stone age, come on get with it!! we us air tools and not just impact guns ,we us a wide varityof air tools
There are things that you can't do with power tools as you can't use power tools on everything especially for areas that are hard to get to. You can over torque and strip many bolts which is why a torque wrench is required for a lot of things.

I got 2014 rogue. It makes a rattle noise only at 2500rpm but nothing seems to be loose on the exhaust system.

It may be your lower control arms!

Bill Link i can't exactly remember but I think the bottom pin has a line on it or a little rubber black peice on the end
Bill Link look up 2010 Nissan Maxima rear caliper pins and you'll see the difference the normal looking pin is for the top of the caliper
