@@MyKeko15 It's been 3 years since Heimerdinger arrived; the timelines diverged when they were kids, roughly 7 - 10 years earlier... enough time that a change in diet and air quality would make a difference.
I love the symbolism of Jayce dismantling his hammer to make the brace. It shows him moving on from his dream of Hextec and shows that his mind for creation and inovation doesn't start or end with the relliance on the arcane.
It's also great that he's climbing out of the undercity with a busted leg, just like Viktor did. He had to go through what Viktor went through in order to understand him.
I liked how he struggled to move with the hextech not functioning and the hammer being a burden; adding to how the world around him turned because of hextech, Jayce was literally carrying his cross there.
The fact that this is what Piltover could look like in a world without hextech and with a version of Heimerdinger who understands the plight of the undercity for as little as 3 or 4 years is so crazy... Also, I love that the end calls back to episode 4 of season 1, where Heimerdinger says that the greatest accomplishment of a teacher is to sacrifice everything for the lives and legacies of his students
There's a certain tragedy in that Jayce (and Viktor) in their attempt to "improve" lives with Hextech, unknowingly made the world a lot worse for everyone. "Road to hell is paved with good intentions..." and all that.
For your comment, it makes the student professor relationship of Victor and Singed even funnier where the student disappeared and the professor gets the happy ending.
Heimerdinger's song 'Spin the Wheel' was actually sung by his VA, Mick Wingert, and it's one of my favourite songs on this season's soundtrack because of how sweet and hopeful it is
Before that he was clueless season 1 Heimer, and after that he was the Heimer who had been part of the firelights and understood what life was really like for the people of the undercity, but was still head of the Piltover council I think that was one of the biggest factors in how improved life in the undercity was compared to the main timeline
Vander, Silco, Jayce, Viktor, they all had dreams of a better world. Ekko was the only one who actually experienced a better world, and he decided it wasn't enough to have it for himself, he gave it up in order to make that world a reality for the people back in his dimension. That's a hero
I have a theory that Powder is the reason hextech was never invented in that universe. At the end of the episode we can see that she has a bag of the hextech gemstones hidden away in the drawer by VI’s memorial. Since the accident that killed Vi, she smuggled the stones and has been hiding them away, no one was ever able to get their hands on them to further the invention of hextech.
I agree with this theory but would like to add something. I have a theory since Vi died and since kids from the undercity came up to piltover because of how bad things were down there, the council decided it might be better if zaun was independent so more death wouldn't happen since it must have been so bad down in Zaun, childern were dying or getting hurt just for the possibility of survival or the betterment of those they care for, and once Zaun got was free or independent because of Vi's death, Vander and Silco final got a chance to talk and vander told Silco of his letter and regerts then they both truly got to mourn Vi's mom and realized since Powder is the last of that family they must take care of her in honor of powders mom and vi, giving them the ability to forgive and put their efforts for the future of Zaun both the cities and the peoples.
If they ever go back to this story somehow I feel like powder would like to try to bring back vi since she knows how to create a time machine now and she has the stones also
I mean in season 1 they did end up mining more of the stones and that's why they can arm people with Hextech weaponry and the Hexgate itself uses loads of them so it's not like those 3 were the only 3. Something must've also happened to Jayce in the explosion that they didn't bother/didn't think of showing cause Powder having those 3 doesn't FULLY explain it away.
I also forget to add that I think it is likely that Jayce was fully exiled for his work with the hextech stone because they killed someone, a child even. His work was likely received less fondly and everyone agreed it was too dangerous. I’d also like to add that I think Powder will make the right decision to not mess with the hextech at all because she said she was happy with her life as it was and that tech was what killed Vi. But I guess there is always the chance she will try and make some inventions with them and could cause bad shit to kick off
@daviddastoli3926 I'm going add another thing a detail I noticed. The enforcer that found them after the explosion was Marcus, so it probably changed his outlook of Zaun as well, cause if you watch his reation to seeing the outcome of the explosion, he turns from ready to take action to a sympathetic person as he watch powder cry and in that moment all barriers between zaun and piltover shattered for him all he sees is a child who just lost her sister now mourning her sisters death no longer just a child from the undercity just a child
For me, this was the best episode of the whole show. I started crying about halfway through this ep and didn’t stop til the end. Had to take a break before I started ep 8. It was…just…a masterpiece. The single most beautiful, heartbreakingly, serendipitously bittersweet thing this show has ever done
I always wondered what would have happened to powder if silco hadnt found her after the incident, and I figured the only person left for her would have been ekko. This wasn't exactly that but it was so cool to see what ekko and powder working together would have looked like.
The pink strand of hair that Powder has in honor of Vi and the pink nails/make up too. 😭😭😭 The fact that Vi dying means everyone else lived and most had more happier lives.
There were way more factors than just Vi dying. Her death does not make the world better; it hinged a lot on whether Silco found Vander's letter in the mine too for example. Jayce is not around to make the hextech either.
A diff comment said Vis death mustve shown everyone right off the bat that this thing is too dangerous. In our timeline human deaths werent involved until Vanders death, which the scientist never saw. So presumably Jayce got sent to prison for vis death, and the counsil shut down hexcores. The kids never got into real trouble, meaning Silco couldnt exploit them. Furthermore Vis death, someone meaningful to both silco and vander, prob got them on speaking terms again
I mean it was implied that people got hurt and maybe died but it wasnr Zaun kid death, in this universe it was a tragedy and the culrpits were right there so there was no need for shifting the blame, also yea the rest of the stuff you mentioned still applies
I'm pretty sure for the silco thing it's as simple as that letter Vander wrote actually reached him. There's a reason they had Jinx say smth like "if only he saw this. It could've all been different"
@CapitanDePlai right I noticed this during this video but silco's eye is not corrupted by shimmer, there is no purple nowhere so I guess shimmer doesn't exist either since singed is not involved
While Ekko was having his first kiss with powder, Jayce was having a full on Oppenheimer moment. 😂😂 8:08 Yeah i do believe heimerdinger was the big trigger. After seeing how he and the council's neglect of the zaun lead to it's decay. He would try to prevent the same thing happening here.
Yup Heimerdinger was never evil, if anything he had the most noble intentions out of all the characters, he was simply divorced from reality. The fact that he was so quick to help Ekko even back in season 1 shows that had he known about how much Zaun was suffering, he would've tried to turn the entire council towards helping Zaun.
Regarding Silco, think back to episode 1 of season 1 when he learns about the heist going wrong and tells Singed, "Our timeline has moved up" I assume in this alternate timeline, he had months or years more of planning before he was ready to put his work with Shimmer to action, and something changed in that time. Maybe Vander's heartbreak over Vi's death, who is the daughter of Silco's old friend let's not forget, led him to feel some compassion and go meet with Vander one more time? And they were both surprised to find themselves beginning to repair their relationship
I’m guessing he found the letter that Vander left him, cause of what Jinx said after she read it to Vi, “If he would’ve found this, everything could’ve been different”
@@ghostlyexe More likely they reconciled at Vi's funeral. Silco was already on the warpath at the point of Vi's death/the robbery, and after Vander would have left that note. I supposed Vi's death could have sent Silco into visiting old haunts and found that first.
I think I’ve cried in every single episode this season so far. Congratulations to all the people involved in this MASTERPIECE. Probably the most well done show I’ve ever seen in my life.
Thank you for mentioning her intelligence. No one ever brings it up, and I'm still thinking about how she cracked hextech back in s1 with nothing but jayce's notes while goat man in s2 had every resource and still ended up as dust.
It's undeniable, Powder/Jinx is quite smart, but it never gotten addressed because it was given at this point, anyone who misses it is either not paying attention enough, or plainly stupid, no offense to anyone ^^
I think one of the saddest meanings of this apparently so beautiful "alternative reality" is that however you turn it, Vi and Powder will never be able to save themselves together.
I started crying as soon as I sae Benzo. Damn, I could stand Powder, Vander... but the moment I realized how much Ekko missed his father figure I lost. 😅 This "what could have been" ep makes a real impact.
Even though episode 7 is arguably the happiest one, I’d say it is the most tragic. We see what could’ve been. What our heroes could’ve had. And the fact that even there, some of them didn’t get to enjoy it.
If we take heimerdinger’s comment that this in fact a parallel universe (not an illusion or anything) I take solace in the fact that even if our characters can’t live in it, somewhere out there, a world exists where things are better for their other selves. And I like to believe there’s somehow even another happy one where Vi survives as well.
Bro Ekko was living the best week of his life and Jayce was going through the worst 6 months of his life simultaneously. I don't condone it but I understand why he chose to blast Arcane Jesus in the chest
This episode really makes me wish we had more time with all of these characters just interacting and talking like normal people.Ekko having the chance to talk to Benzo again man i cried at that part. Also i think jayce and caitlyn might have died in the explosion with Vi which maybe united the Upper City and Zaun in their grief also would explain the abscence of hextech .
22:40 I'd like to imagine that with Vi and the gang originally getting away from Piltover's finest, it caught the attention of the council, especially Mel, which fast tracked the creation of Hextech. Likewise, Vi's death probably jolted Silco out of anger because that was Felicia's daughter, that or maybe he found Vander's letter much earlier after their revolt at the bridge and before Vi lost her life. Which also probably removed or at least stopped the production of Shimmer and Chemtech because Singed would have no backers if Silco left. Maybe he's still in the early stages of shimmer since his resources would be smaller.
I'm glad that the difference between the universe Ekko and Heimerdinger ended up in wasn't that Vi never was born, as you said. That trope is always SOOOO sad
Apparently according to one of the writers Vi's death became a tragedy that hit the topsiders with the reality of the struggles of the undercity, and it led to a snowball effect that changed their approach to the undercity. Sheriff Grayson never died, Vander never gets captured, Silco somehow reconciles with Vander. Maybe the chain of different circumstances leads him to find the letter, I dunno. No shimmer, no Sheriff Marcus, less corruption, better timeline.
My boi Heimerdinger! I was waiting for him to come back to the season, but not like this! At least he got to sing a nice song. I picked up on it being his voice immediately and I was just enthralled.
They probably didn’t want to reuse an episode title word for word, it would’ve definitely been a great name though. I said those exact words many times watching this episode
I like to think that the husks watching Jayce wander through the city are not just Viktor watching but basically the ghosts of their former selves watching him, to see if he understands the gravity of what he must do. I don't think it is ever fully address but maybe one reason forJayce glitching because, as Viktor says in Act2, ep5. he has been touched by the arcane. It makes me think that because there was no living Jayce for him to inhabit like Ekko did in happy joy land, the very act of the entity pulling our Jayce there and then tossing him back is part of why he was glitching so hard in the "real" world. Or just the taint of the Arcane. Fun to pontificate about. Edit: Heimer was only in happy joy land for 1000 days, not a 1000 years, but still he was there for three years. I like idea that when he get there he is a big part of changing their world into the mor e harmonious society. It makes a lot of sense. Heimer got to right some of his own inattentiveness in his own world in this other reality.
Heimendinger‘s voice actor doesn‘t speak like that normaly. The fact that he sings (very well btw) a whole song in character, in a made up voice is incredible!! Such a talented actor.
22:42 my theory on how Vander and Silco became friends again was probably due to Vi’s death. As likely they had a moment to come together to help raise Powder as a promise to her mom.
It's comforting to know this alternate timeline where Powder gets to be happy and normal will still be there and didn't just poof out of existence when they went back to their regular reality.
I think Vi's death was actually the only difference. If you think about it, Vi's mum was one of Silco's best friends, so he could absolutely have gone to the funeral and been reunited with Vander there. Also, just to point out, I made the same mistake as you and heard thousands of YEARS heimer had been in that reality. ACTUALLY he says DAYS. so he's actually only been there roughly 10 years haha. Didn't catch that until my second watch myself
@@calvinjohnson6242 Vi's death would have been a good 10 years prior to Ep 7, given how old they were during the heist in S1 E1. So the undercity was likely already recovering with Vander and Silco back together, but I won't deny having Heimerdinger would definitely accelerate the process
You are incorrect in blaming Jayce on why Vander went crazy at the end of episode 6. Viktor being struck down had nothing to do with it, it was Singed waking up and injecting Vander with the serum he made. You can see Singed standing in that building while Vander is going on his rampage. It's also why Vander was leaking that orange fluid, that's the same color as the serum.
I saw him in the montage, I just thought he was lamenting the loss of his chance to save his daughter since he looked defeated to me. Even if it wasn't because of Jayce pulling Viktor out of Vander's mind, it was him killing Viktor that caused them to see what was going on outside the tent leaving Singed to do what he did. At which point it's still on him but them as well. I don't think they all needed to check on that.
where was that said? Everything I've read shows that they are only adoptive brothers. I mean that still stands I guess since he was asking about the band earlier haha
Your reaction videos have been such a beautiful way to cope with the void the show ending left; thank you! I will reminisce on this moments and I'll remember I am not hurting nor enjoying this wonderful show alone. Thank you again for your amazing analysis and honest reaction
I really really really love what the writers did with episode 7. I was afraid they would "save" Jinx with Ekko's love or something like that. But they didn't. Ekko could have the "good ending" but decided he needed to go forward and give up any hope she could be normal again. It's sad but so beautiful. I also like the implication that the sisters' relationship is cursed and that Powder is happy because Vi died, breaking the curse.
Best episode of s2 my two favorite characters finally get the spotlight. I wished we got more of Ekko in this universe... I feel like Riot really dropped the ball with this storyline there was a compelling story to be told here. We needed a whole arc on Ekko eventually figuring out Hextech so he can go back home. But he has to choose between staying being happy here with the people he has lost before or going back to try and save the people he left behind. Man, I love Ekko and Jinx so much I felt deep sadness for their characters it was incredibly bittersweet seeing them happy even just for a moment... I get this feeling we may see this version of Powder at some point in the main timeline. From her conversations with Ekko and she worked with them to figure it out so she knows a lot about how it works. She could figure out the rest on her own she is literally a genius. Also, her seeing the Ekko from another universe could be enough motivation for her do it so she can see Vi again. Could you imagine the Vi from the main timelines face if she ever saw this version of Powder she would literally melt.
It just occurred to me that one of the reasons why Heimerdinger might've chosen to stay in the different timeline was he didn't want to abandon Jayce. He said he waited for Ekko to show up for 3 years and considering his lifespan he probably would've kept waiting for quite a while before he actually gave up on that. After Ekko finally landed in that universe, it would be fair of Heimerdinger to expect Jayce to show up sooner or later (unless Jayce died with Vi in the blast which is possible which makes the whole situation even sadder from Heimer's perspective). And all of this raises an entirely different question: did Jayce land in a different universe or just different point in time? And did the "mage" pull him there from where he was supposed to go or was it that somehow Arcane knew all on its own where he was supposed to end up? This is definetely my favorite episode (at least of this act, maybe season) and a major reason for that are the questions about the mechanics of the world it poses.
Don't forget that Jayce was ready to jump from just being exiled. Powder stole the remaining gemstones here. They had nothing left to go off here, and Vi was killed on top of that. His punishment was likely even worse, or at the least Viktor wouldn't have been there to stop him.
Yeah I'm pretty sure Jayce time travelled while Ekko and Heimer universe hopped. They did say the anomaly reacted differently to him than them. Also Heimer's gonna have to wait and respawn because he was erased after powering the machine one for Ekko!
I think we've been seeing dozens of versions of this timeline throughout the whole show. There's all these little weird moments when the perspective spazzes or characters warp from one spot to another along with a procedural looking visual glitch. Like when Ekko is remembering the Bridge, note he's remembering a version of it with a dead Jinx at his feet, with him sneering down at her. Which is distinctly NOT what we experienced. When Jayce shoots Viktor at the end of ep6, there's a split second where 5 different Jayces in 5 slightly different poses are all prepping to do the same thing. The whole thing has been a parallel universes story the whole time. Which makes adopting it as the "main canon" even wilder.
The way I see it is No Vi/ No robbery No vander giving himself up No Silco taking vander (probably had a talk with him since he lost the kid of their friend) Even if he was taken powder knew what the hexcore could do so she wouldn’t use it (them in the drawer) No silco taking over = No shimmer so no addiction Vander and Silco bonding meant an even stronger undercity and since vander never wanted war and with how he spoke with the cops in S1 he was the one that probably brokered peace between piltover and zaun
The robbery happened, but Vi died during it. I'm guessing the difference is that she was the one to find the gemstones, triggered one, and died. (If it was still Powder, I'd imagine she'd end up way more torn up than she was here). Jayce presumably was properly punished, and Powder stole the remaining gemstones (as we saw). No Hextech. The robbery also accelerated Silco's plans in Ep 1, so between that, and I presume grief over his friend's daughter's death (they were both kind of uncles to Vi, before Felicia died, at least) was enough to bring them back together.
@ great thoughts btw but what I meant was that nothing was stolen or atleast they didn’t get away with stealing something I think the fact that a zaun child died during it framed it as a loss for both as opposed to an attack on piltover as it was framed in season 1 meaning there was no need for anyone to “pay” for what had happened ie Vander giving himself up
They did get away with the hexstones but I don't think anyone other than Jayce knew of their existence but Powder has them in her Vi drawer safe and sound from anyone else using them
In the final shot we see some Hex gems in Vi's shrine. We know Vi died in that mission, so my guess is that Powder kept them as a trophy , her final "catch" if you will in Vi's honor. And because of this Jayce couldn't furghter research them and create Hextech.
Anyone else think that, with Power looking at the gemstones at the end, she will try to create her own time loop? And, because of how many she has, she would possibly try to create one to prevent Vi’s death. Thats all I can think of when they show that scene at the end
Jayce wasn't sent into an alternate universe like Ekko & Heim were. He was sent into the future in THIS universe. Ekko & Heim traveled through space while Jayce traveled through time.
I think when the heist failed and Vi died it created a huge sympathy for Zaunites and undermined Silco's movement to fight Piltover. Shimmer never got out of control between Episodes 3 & 4 because Silco gave up the dream of battling Piltover once they started helping. There was support for making things better int he lanes. Stuff like the Innovator's Fair was probably a Piltover program to help.
I wonder if the reason hextech doesn't get invented is because Jayce's tribunal included "a child died because of your illegal experiments" and in this universe he is sitting in exile. I love that happy-dimension version of Jinx kept her fan-blade lab but she installed safety railings lol. Also after finding the full track, i kinda want that song Heimerdinger sings played at my funeral. Damn its good.
The reason why everything changed with i’s death is bc she died on that Joni. Remember Jayce’s workshop was owned by Cait’s family. Who actually cared about people in the undercity. Also remember, the line from ep9 from Jayce, “I’m apart of this now.” And vi’s response. “You’ve always been apart of this you just never had to look it in the eye.” Vi dying in a council member’s workshop by illegal materials and experimentation for scraps to get food would force piltover to see the lives of the Zaun and make them reconcile the lack of help Zaun gets and make them help. Heimer gets there (heimer said 1128 DAYS, roughly 3years) and accelerates the help. He learned from his mistakes last time. So he actively helps. We all knew it would take a lot for Vander and Silco to reconcile and one of their best friends’ daughter who they helped name would be such one event. Those two meet one another and talk (the letter from ep 5). Since Piltover is actively helping Zaun then there is no need for Silco to want to make Shimmer. Shimmer was made to scare Piltover into listening to the plight of Zaunites. So that’s one less thing that doesn’t happen. Jayce was mostly likely banished or died since his experiments caused a kid to die. So he wouldn’t be there. Heimer died. But he is a yordle. They are technically immortal. Hopefully, in the next series they explain that.
as long as League lore is still accurate, Heimerdinger can't die. Yordles are immortal. At worst, he reappears in Bandle City and has to make his way back. Yordles literally respawn. It's a blessing and a curse. Yordles are so happy and care free because they can't die.. except for Vex (who isn't in the show obviously) who just wishes she could die but can't.
Heimer doesn't seem to be part of the council in that universe. Maybe he doesn't exist at all, explaining why the body of the other Heimerdinger wasn't left behind.
I think this is my favorite episode of the show. I would honestly love a slice of life spinoff about Powder and Ekk. Just sad VI had to be the sacrifice needed to get the story she wanted for everyone.

If Vi died because of the explosion, maybe Jayce died too since he was at the door.
Singed is not involved in that timeline, he is the center of everything. Maybe his daughter never died in that one.
@CapitanDePlai right I noticed this during this video but silco's eye is not corrupted by shimmer, there is no purple nowhere so I guess shimmer doesn't exist either since singed is not involved
Seeing Powder & Ekko together dancing and being happy made me teary....
30:28 to be clear, yordles don't really die, they just reform in bandle city. Now, in which universe this happened is a mystery at the moment.
I was unaware of this! I knew they could live forever but I figured they could still be killed!
While Ekko was having his first kiss with powder, Jayce was having a full on Oppenheimer moment. 😂😂
8:08 Yeah i do believe heimerdinger was the big trigger.
Don't worry about Heimerdinger, yordles are functionally immortal. If killed he would respawn in the yordle hometown eventually
But isn't he occupying that dimension's heimer? I feel like at least one of them is gone forever.
So does each heimerdinger revert back to their own timelines hometown ? 🤔
Regarding Silco, think back to episode 1 of season 1 when he learns about the heist going wrong and tells Singed, "Our timeline has moved up"
I assume in this alternate timeline, he had months or years more of planning before he was ready to put his work with Shimmer to action, and something changed in that time.
Ekko and Jinx are such a good couple 🥹
I think I’ve cried in every single episode this season so far. Congratulations to all the people involved in this MASTERPIECE.
Probably the most well done show I’ve ever seen in my life.
I KNEW Jayce had a good reason!!! Also the Ekko and Powder dancing scene is one of my favorite scenes of the series 😭
Ekko was in a happy place while Jayce was on Sillent hill, that's wild the memes we're right😂
I started crying as soon as I sae Benzo. Damn, I could stand Powder, Vander... but the moment I realized how much Ekko missed his father figure I lost. 😅
This "what could have been" ep makes a real impact.
Kid in the wheelchair watching Heimers performance, is the same kid in Viktors commune that Jayce nearly blasts to bits
❤ That "jayce fighting eldritch monsters for two months" comment on 2x5 was a theory! I didn't think it would actually happen😅
Ekko: after being there for a bit " yea i kinda like it here"
Jayce: F_ck my life.
Me too. It's part of what made S1 so affecting and it's what S2 sacrificed a bit to fit everything in to the season, imo.
This was my favorite episode of season 2. To see what could’ve been. It was beautiful.
Also Jinx is a reason that Hextech doesnt exist in that world.
She is keeping all pieces of proto Hexcore.
Timebomb shippers simultaneously eating and starving rn
As one of them you are so right. But I see this as a win. I didn't think this ship would even come close to be canon, so I'm happy with what I got
I'm glad that the difference between the universe Ekko and Heimerdinger ended up in wasn't that Vi never was born, as you said. That trope is always SOOOO sad
i want a whole album of Heimer songs
Same that caught me off guard! That song was so good!
(I actually think Grayson and Vander being alive is the biggest reason the undercity and topside have better relations.)
I think the seizures are just from reality hopping and the negative consequences it has on the mind.
That might be likely it could also be because of the hammer. It only seemed to happen when he was holding it and it’s not from this time.
My boi Heimerdinger! I was waiting for him to come back to the season, but not like this! At least he got to sing a nice song. I picked up on it being his voice immediately and I was just enthralled.
Episode 7 should be named ,,What could have been,,
That is in my opinion better name for the episode , and aslo homage to song from S1 ep9
I´m glad I´m not the only one who teared up on their kiss 😭
I agree. There is no war in Ba Sing Se
"For all sad words of tongue and pen, the saddest are these, 'It might have been.'" -John Greenleaf Whittier
Heimerdinger wasn't in the alternate reality for thousands of years. He said 1068 days.
The dance scene its my favorite sequence in the whole series
I think Vi's death was actually the only difference. If you think about it, Vi's mum was one of Silco's best friends, so he could absolutely have gone to the funeral and been reunited with Vander there.
Also, just to point out, I made the same mistake as you and heard thousands of YEARS heimer had been in that reality. ACTUALLY he says DAYS. so he's actually only been there roughly 10 years haha. Didn't catch that until my second watch myself
Well actually it’s 1128d 6hr 20 mins, so roughly 3yrs(?) if 1yr is 365d haha
@@tingyu60232 oh i thought it was 3000 and something lol, thanks
VI’s death, but then also Heimerdinger fixing things for the undercity the last couple years. You can do a lot on that time as a counselor.
@@calvinjohnson6242 Vi's death would have been a good 10 years prior to Ep 7, given how old they were during the heist in S1 E1. So the undercity was likely already recovering with Vander and Silco back together, but I won't deny having Heimerdinger would definitely accelerate the process
My theory for Jayce flickering is the hammer he brought with him (and a part of other Jayce with it perhaps)
Probably right about that! It was the anomaly rather than a persona I think
Mylo with mustache and fancy suit! Hahahah.... 😅
This episode destroyed me man, one of the best eps of tv all time
You are incorrect in blaming Jayce on why Vander went crazy at the end of episode 6.
The lyrics of the dance song always gets me... It's so fucking sad. So perfect for them. "You're ma best ennemy".
Well, I cried at what could have been. Goddammit, Arcane, you're so good.
Just in case you forgot, Mylo and Claggor are brothers lmao
Seems a lot of people forgot and thought they were a thing for a moment 😂 Claggor just hug his brother while watching his crush (The DJ)
where was that said? Everything I've read shows that they are only adoptive brothers. I mean that still stands I guess since he was asking about the band earlier haha
@@Omn1MediaAdopted or not they’re still brothers no? 😭
"The rEKKOrd was different this time" ;)
Love it!
Would point out that Isha wasn't just saving them from Vander, she also saw he was in immense pain and wanted to end his suffering.
Wow, Arcane is one of the greatest pieces of cinema storytelling and art i have ever experienced.
Vi deaded is world very good.
❤powder & Ekko, to lover❤
Your breakdowns are amazing
Jayce was right
Yup, Jay Jay need an apology from everyone
just keep watching both of you
Well Viktor was right you mean
@@CapitanDePlai They both were at different times
This last arc feels like a completely different show
I was crying this whole episode and I don’t cry to tv very often. It was equal parts happy tears and sad tears.
This show is amazing 🎉
boy wonder
The way I see it is
No Vi/ No robbery
No vander giving himself up
No Silco taking vander (probably had a talk with him since he lost the kid of their friend)
Even if he was taken powder knew what the hexcore could do so she wouldn’t use it (them in the drawer)
No silco taking over = No shimmer so no addiction
Vander and Silco bonding meant an even stronger undercity and since vander never wanted war and with how he spoke with the cops in S1 he was the one that probably brokered peace between piltover and zaun
@ great thoughts btw but what I meant was that nothing was stolen or atleast they didn’t get away with stealing something I think the fact that a zaun child died during it framed it as a loss for both as opposed to an attack on piltover as it was framed in season 1 meaning there was no need for anyone to “pay” for what had happened ie Vander giving himself up
They did get away with the hexstones but I don't think anyone other than Jayce knew of their existence but Powder has them in her Vi drawer safe and sound from anyone else using them
1:17 NOOO! 😭😭
In the final shot we see some Hex gems in Vi's shrine.
We know Vi died in that mission, so my guess is that Powder kept them as a trophy , her final "catch" if you will in Vi's honor.
And because of this Jayce couldn't furghter research them and create Hextech.
The clue that got me convinced of heimerdingers death was the tool(?) that disappeared the same way he did beforehand
Someone call the TVA (Time Variance Authority) or God Loki
Amazing theories and I agree with them
The reason why everything changed with i’s death is bc she died on that Joni.
Yordles are so happy and care free because they can't die.. except for Vex (who isn't in the show obviously) who just wishes she could die but can't.
heimer used this as a chance to help the underground, unlike his own world. and then he sends ekko back. my heart hurts
So nice to watch Ekko and Powder get to be normal youngsters, rather than ones who grew up as child soldiers.
Heimer doesn't seem to be part of the council in that universe. Maybe he doesn't exist at all, explaining why the body of the other Heimerdinger wasn't left behind.
As terrible as Jayce's situation is, the cut to him dragging his hammer through a dead world while happy music is still playing cracked me up
I love Ekko x Powder/Jinx aka TimeBomb. Episode 7 was beautiful & moving - one of my favourite ones overall. 💜
This episode was the best of act 3
Yeah.
Friendly Silco probably means he found the letter that Vi and Jinx found in the main timeline.

I think this is my favorite episode of the show. I would honestly love a slice of life spinoff about Powder and Ekk. Just sad VI had to be the sacrifice needed to get the story she wanted for everyone.
There's one thing I've been wondering with this episode: did Heimerdinger just transport/kill his alternative self?
That's a question I posited as well
