    I received my oklaroots/sallie tomato January project box, and am eagerly awaiting for your pattern to arrive last day of the month. So right now, I am digging thru my stash looking for some alternate materials to perform my initial surgery on LOL. Dont wanna wreck the exquisite project box offerings in my trial. But your awesome video will help me avoid any possible errors, thank you!!!

    Great pattern, thank you. I have the Juki DU1181n, I haven't gotten the courage to use it yet, but I think this pattern might just be the one to get me going.

    Can I please ask where you got the punch for the id pocket?! I’ve been wanting one but can’t find one 😢

      I bought it off of Amazon but the last time I checked it was sold out. I’m assuming another similar set would do the job just fine. Here’s the link to the one I have amzn.to/3yTRQAw

    I have both of those industrial machines also and my question: is the zipper foot interchangeable between the two machines, please? Thank you Linds!

    • @LindsHandmadeDesigns
      @LindsHandmadeDesigns  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No sorry! One is a walking foot and one isn’t so they are NOT interchangeable.

    Hey there!! What a beautiful pattern and bag!! I was wondering what weight of leather from Tandy that you used for this?

  • @KP-nx8lo

    Am I the only one who saw the name of this bag and immediately thought of Reese Witherspoon from “legally blonde” doing the “bend and snap” and just have to giggle? 、🥰😆

      Ha ha nope! That was the original inspiration for the name 😏

    Btw, do you have any recommendation for non sticky needle (for Juki DDL 8700)? Thanks!

    • @LindsHandmadeDesigns
      @LindsHandmadeDesigns  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much! I’m not sure what you mean by “non sticky needle”? Needles shouldn’t ever be sticky...?

    • @lani7412
      @lani7412 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Linds Handmade Designs Sorry for my confusing question.😂 I meant “nonstick needles”, as we use lots of double sided tape. I wonder if you use special nonstick needle for this. Thanks!

    • @LindsHandmadeDesigns
      @LindsHandmadeDesigns  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh no I don’t have any recommendations but if you find it IS gumming up your needle, I would switch tapes to either the Tandy leather brand or the wash away kind from wawak.

    I have a question. In the video you use magnetic snaps. You link spring snaps and the pattern calls for spring snaps. Does it matter. Is one better than the other

    • @LindsHandmadeDesigns
      @LindsHandmadeDesigns  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You need 2 sets of magnetic snaps for the bag to secure shut in the folded position. Those are going in the 4 corners of the inside of the bag. The spring snap is for the flap closure piece that goes over the card slots. So you do need both.

      Linds Handmade Designs well duh. If I would gave watched more and paid attention better. I haven’t made it yet I just was gathering the hardware. Thank you for not laughing at my dorkiness

    Maybe a dumb question but could you also sew up the sides of the card slot fabric so that cards & things can't slip out sideways and rattle round the inside of the bag?
    This is an awesome pattern and I plan on making some soon!

    Quick question if you don’t mind. Where do you find the rivets with the longer posts??

    • @LindsHandmadeDesigns
      @LindsHandmadeDesigns  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I buy all my rivets from my local Tandy leather. Theirs are labeled small, medium, and large. I like to have all sizes on hand to cover all thicknesses. For the MOST part I use smalls, but sometimes with multiple layers, need the mediums. Don’t quote me but I believe the post sizes for each size are 6mm, 8mm and either 9 or 10 mm for the larges.
