I put mine on today and got spark right away, then I put the plug in the engine to see if it would fire and it didn't. I took it out again and checked for spark and i had nothing.
@@Dogepugs if it were me I would verify that the coil is good and if a 70 I would make for sure the coil is a 6v coil not a 12v. Check all grounds and possibly check or eliminate the on off switch just for troubleshooting purposes and if all else fails contact the seller he was super cool to deal with. Hate your having trouble if I can help in any way let me know!

Thanks for the CDI instructions, I got a 85 atc 70 and couldn't get it to spark with points even after replacing everything.
No problem hope I could help. I had very faint spark but not enough to run. I literally turn the bike on and one pull and it starts now. It’s awesome!

Yes. I used the original on off switch. When you switch it to off it just grounds the coil thus killing the ignition. Hope this helps
