You guys brought a tear of joy to my face. That was my first bike when I was 5 (I turn 36 in august). The Honda atc70 is a little beast even as a 70cc.
Back in the 70's I bought a New Honda 90 three wheeler. What I found was to go around corners if you stand up on the foot pegs and lean over the front wheel you can wipe around corners a lot faster. I use to work for U-Haul when they rented three wheelers. 80 % of them were broke down in the first week by the workers. They were all 200s, very fun . Keep up the good work.

I haven't seen a honey locusts tree in years. The one with the big thorns. The beans are used in ice cream. The meat of the beans are very tasty and sweet. Harvest it in fall after frost.
Hated that ATCs were banned. I had several as a kid and while I had a few crashes, it was nothing serious. Any machine is dangerous, and it's up to the operator to practice due diligence and know the limitations of the machine and his or her riding skills, and to not be a idiot.

Get an ATC110! I had an '82 as a kid growing up. Was my first "bike" and I rode the crap outta that thing. Racing my neighbor on his '84 ATC125 all the time. He was was a fat kid but his 125 was still faster but I made up the time in the turns. Epic childhood memories! You might like the size. I dunno. Felt big to me as a kid but I bet a 185 would feel the same to me now. Would be cool to see one on the show.
You guys still need to get one of the 250 two stroke trikes: ATC250R, Tecate 3, Tri-Z. Also good to see you guys starting to get your butt off the seats in turns, turn and burn.
I own a 1986 Honda 350x a.t.c. three-wheeler I've had Since 1996. It's never ever let me down. It is my favorite of all time! Get one of them and you will see and be very impressed.
a trick i remembered from riding my atc70 as a kid, is when you come into the corner in second gear you hold the gear lever down so its effectivly in neutral, grab a handful of brake so the back end starts to slide and then bang it back into gear and mash the throttle to keep the slide going. the rear drum is always fighting with the engine otherwise so you dont get full brakeing power because you cant pull the clutch like you would a normal bike so you have to use the semi auto like a crude one.... i really, really want to see if i can get my atc70 road legal here in the UK... keep at it guys

My favorite is my '85 250R for the dunes. Was the first 3 wheeler that was mine, I was 14 in 1998. I'll never get rid of that one. She gave me the fever. The kind of burn that penicillin don't work on. I had a 350x for about 6 years, most reliable thing ever built, but it was a tank, and 4 stokes back then were mild at best. I really can't compare a 2 stroke, to a 4 stroke in that manner though. If I had to pick a 4 stoke trike, I got an '84 200s. You could fall off that thing, and just jump back on when it comes back around. Things are unstoppable. They run upside down, under water, on Mars, while on fire, and they get 10 thousand miles per gallon. Mine still has the original gas from 1984, and it's been idling for 7 months straight, in my driveway. My neighbors absolutely hate me. And they're jealous, of my Fine. Japanese. Aluminum.
I had two Big Reds, a 1982 first gen ATC200E and a 1985 ATC250ES. They both came standard with front and rear racks and electric start but I liked the ATC250ES better because of the shaft drive.
If you would learn to do donuts in the gravel, your turn arounds would get way faster. Turn the handle bars the direction of your donut, transfer your weight to the "out side" foot peg and CRANK IT ON. Lean up on the handle bars to stick the front tire and let the rear tires dig and slide out.

I've got a 200 that needs some love. I flipped it over in the woods hunting and broke 3 ribs and 54 stitches later. I'm 70 yrs old now. Just fixing it for my kids and grandkids. Highland, Fla.
You guys should put up some posts to mark your tracks. Assign colors to different courses, like maybe the Grand Prix course is blue. Then you can paint a blue band on the posts that mark the Grand Prix course. It looks like some stretches are part of more than one course, so on those the posts would have multiple colors, but that would be okay. Would help when you have other guys over to race, so you could just say "okay, we're running the green course", and they know to follow the route with the green band on the posts. Might help Ike too... :)
Holy cow the 70 my friend had one that was the very first motorized machine I ever drove. I grew up in the country and just about all the kids on my block had either a quad dirt bike or trike. The old Suzuki 125 quads the Kawasaki 160 trike we had a 110 everyone had something there was even a fatcat in the mix . Great video blast from the past.

Ikes 200 needs valves adjusted and or new timing chain.main jet upsized .03. All new brake shoes installed and change clutch sounds like its hitting hard as in out of adjustment.. Johns needs a new fuel cap or seal and the wheels ridden off of it... 😁
Rotella T-6 synthetic works great with wet clutches just so you guys know. I have an ATV that shifted terrible until I put that in... shifts super smooth now.
Just don't use oil that has friction mods in it. it will impregnate the friction plate material and cause slipping. Once that happens you pretty much have to throw them in the fuck it bucket. lol Rotella T6 is a great choice, especially for older 4 stroke applications.
We had an ATC 250 with electric start and reverse when I was young. They are good machines. Starts in any weather and will go through just about anything. If you get them stuff you can actually just pick them up. Other than that they are 3 wheeled death machines. LOL!
You always hear about how 3 wheelers tip. I never managed to tip mine when we had one. Drove that thing like a maroon taking jump and shit. The only time it ever ended upside down was when i was riding with a friend on the back and he got scared and we were rolling backwards downhill and I had a lapse of smartness and hit the back brake instead of the front and we flipped backwards and he fell off and I fell on him and the bike fell on me. he's diabetic and had an insulin pump and it was right in the front and I smashed it into his crotch lol

Rotella T6 Diesel oil works good for wet clutches. Much cheaper and better then "Motorcycle oil"
I use it in my 73 Kawi Z1 and 70 Honda CB750.

Honda 250 sx. Its a 3wheeler shaft drive with reverse. Their awesome get one if you can totally worth it. I regret selling mine.

It took about three months, after the ban to figure out it was the riders not the bikes.
