  • In this video, Collin and I install a power brake booster and master cylinder in the 1963 Chevrolet C-10. We had to make a few modifications to the firewall and the brake pedal assembly to make it fit. The brake booster is from CPP (Classic Performance Products). We also reinstalled the front clip and set the hood on it. It's starting to look more like a truck! I see a booster option for a single line. Your opinion on this? I am wondering if this will give too much to the rear brakes? Did your booster come with the master and valve?

I haven't seen one with a single line. The original was a single line. I would stick with a 2 line MC so that way the front and rear brakes are seperate for safety purposes. Mine came entirely assembled with booster, MC and proportining valve with the short lines that connect it to the MC. I hope that helps and thank you for watching.

Doing same thing. Is drilling the hole 1 1/2 lower required when installing booster

Yes! the bracket between the booster and the firewall angles the pushrod from the booster to the pedal downward. I had to drill a new hole 1 inch down from the existing hole in my pedal. Thank you for watching!
