    Awesome haul again Tom! Those bladder compressors were always noisy and had vibration. They were marketed for spraying paint and filling tires and such back in the day. Awesome stuff!!!!!!

      Thanks John, I’m hoping to give it a good resto!

    For our steel business we bought an old 4-wheel drive military vehicle with a huge welder/generator in it. That vehicle had basically just sat on the base for 20+ years with only a few hundred miles on it and we only gave a grand for it......Mounted inside the custom made rear enclosure unit was an air compressor very much like that one.........Never really used it other than checking it over and making sure it was in working condition in case we did need to use it........Yours is gonna look incredible when you get it restored...........That grinder looks like a keeper to me, when I get something like that you can pretty much bet I'll keep it till the end.

      That’s an awesome story about the compressor!

    All great finds, but you definitely saved the best for last! It’s funny that’s what was “cutting edge” technology back in the day for doing small jobs. It makes you appreciate the modern tech we have today

    Gotta love those old Craftsman bench grinders.....I picked one up at an estate sale myself for $20.00.....3/4 hp.....Made in the early "70s.Original owner,well taken care of item....Everybody used to take care of their tools back in the day....Not like people of today who sell the above items that their parents bought for pennies on the dollar at estate sales.....Good haul.👍👍👍👍

    Tom my man you are absolutely killing it at the sales! Was everybody who lived around you a professional mechanic in the 60’s and 70’s?! 😂 Those are the best sales and are pretty rare here. That Craftsman 1/2 h bench grinder and air pump are fantastic! Looking forward to the resto video on those for sure. Take care 😃👍🏼

    I like the Craftsman vintage 12-point metric 1/2" drive sockets! I think the Craftsman 469015 5.5" jaw puller will be very helpful during future car repairs: it worth more than $26.00. After the vintage Craftsman V series with a B code are cleaned up, I think you will appreciate adding them to your collection. The vintage Imperial pocketknife was made in the early 1950s; the steel blades were very high quality. The 1/2 HP bench grinder was a great find!

    • @TomGunnTools
      @TomGunnTools  ปีที่แล้ว

      I work on aircraft. Sometimes I get into situations where many wrenches have to get involved. The easiest thing would be to just take the whole damn thing apart. Again. Customers pout about that solution.

    I am currently watching an auction for a vintage craftsman 1/3 hp grinder. I am now going to look for a 1/2hp.
    Prime oil:
    I initially thought the oil was amazon’s oil (not sure if they still make it but at one time they made full synthetic and i heard good things.)
    Pump:
    My first thought was that the pump was foe an airbrush?
