looks like a small vacation from the vacation. I'm moving to Cebu in feb and have looked at the condo's along that shoreline and I just might get one, mainly because of the fantastic views you get there. I checked the resort you were staying at and as an american, I found it mainly catering to orientals. nothing wrong with that, but I do want to be around some american expats, not too many, but some, just for a few chats. If you rent a condo for 6 months or a year, the rental is pretty good. I am so looking forward to my life in the philippines, USA is choking me and as an old veteran, life is passing me by. so I'm getting on the train and going for a ride. And watching this video, your girls are the cutest, reminded me when my kids were little and we did trips like this every year.

I live in Cordova and stayed almost everywhere in Mactan. Haven't been to J Park yet but adding to my list for sure. My kids will love it! Glad you all had a lot of fun. Food looks great too. I can eat sushi all day long 🍣😍

I was at J Park last year with my fiancee'. It was such a wonderful resort. We were there for 3 nights, 4 days. The buffet was exquisite. Very good food all around. Great place for the kiddos! We had a beautiful 2 room suite.

It is just because the koreans are even more obsessed with having white skin than other asians. Japanese too sometimes, altough its starts to be cool there to be tanned.
I think in some Asian cultures having lighter skin color is more desirable. My understanding is this stems from more acient times where having dark skin meant you worked outside and having light skin meant you could stay inside, signifying you were part of a wealthier class. Perhaps that's why they're so covered up at the pool and beach.
Nice place, but looks a bit pricy! p650 for pizza and p390 for french fries is far above what I'm used to in the province!

I hope this isn't a rude question. It certainly isn't meant to be. But as Westerners we kinda expect that type of room when we vacation. If it was much less we would complain about it. So, how, as a Province gal, does it effect you? Did you ever think you could have this type of life? Again, not trying to be offensive with the question. I would guess if you were raised in a fishing village you would be used to it? But growing up inland where all there is is trees and such, is this type of thing surreal, or not really? I grew up on a farm and when I actually saw the ocean (Atlantic) for the first time I was amazed. Of course I'd seen it on TV, but real life it was so much more. Is this the reason many ladies want to be with a foreigner over there? Or would luxury vacations be an unexpected bonus?

Well I use to live 6y in China. Chinese are afraid that their skin becomes darker, they wear an umbrella in the sunshine, hats, long sleeves ,sometimes covered completely, especially at the pool or on the beach. Koreans like to behave the same way. People are weird . Black want to be white, white want to be brown, Red skin or brown skin people also want to have white skin. We always want what we don't have. Women in Europe go to solarium to get some skin suntan and pay for what you have in the Philippines. There is nothing wrong with what you wear. Don't care what other thinks. Wear what you feel is comfortable for you. Thats it! 😂
