The momentum maintained by smoothness and sheer good driving is a joy to watch and makes some of the other drivers look ragged and clumsy by comparison.
The difference between a pro and an amateur - Leh was giving so much away in power but gaining it all back with stunning car control and race craft. Inspiring to watch (for us amateurs!)
You can tell that blue 935 is definitely quicker in a straight line but you are superior driver with great line choices. Driving skill is the best mod!
Leh Keen has some huge balls! Not only is that car worth way over 1 million dollars... but he only has 280hp... and look at the beasts he is dicing with! The guy is awesome!
Damnnnnn he drives freaking agressive but hes like really careful and checks his side mirrors compared to the other douchebag drivers who wont let him pass and dont pay attention to anything but their front and sides ._.
+blackmkiv It's a race but at the same time it's a casual race. People in these classics races don't want to jack up these historical cars so they usually drive them fairly easy for a race course and generally will let the faster cars by without blocking.
Having a lot of experience driving old 911s I gotta say, you're one hell of a driver. It takes big balls to drive them on the edge that well, you deserve that win for sure!
Lea Keen is the Master of Momentum in these old cars, what would be an over-cooked corner entry by mere mortals, he pulls off lap after lap! Turn after turn. Brilliant!
Very nice indeed. Keen is one of my favorite drivers to watch. So much skill on display here if you pay attention. Watch how early he picks the throttle up at, or before each apex, and how he destroys everyone in the fast esses.
Such a treat to discover this and revel in Leh's gifts. Found myself watching the mirrors for traffic etc. Such gonads! how you carry momentum and out drive far faster machines. Thanks again and again.
Boy those 935's are so fast on the straights. You are a total professional. Its too bad about whats happening in GTD this year with the Porsches. Ever since I bought my 70 911 E I have been a fan for life.
This is so much more exciting and engrossing to watch with an in-car camera than televised motorsports with the cameras following the cars from the outside and with sports announcers blathering on relentlessly.
I thought I had done some mad driving(illegal, uk rd's, wen younger) but WOW,could you imagine how terrifying it would be as a passenger! the sound of that engine is monstrous.amazing upload.
Nice video! Seems the drivers of the other cars need to learn how to extract more from them. Like always, you dance right on that edge of performance and extract what you can from the car - makes for a great video! Traffic was a little crazy...lol. Nice video footage of some classic racecars too...Ferrari 512BB and BMW M1 were so sweet sounding! More videos like this whenever you can please!
I have seen a Jürgen Barth Porsche 936 Le Mans onboard clip ... he was overtaking full flying Carreras which looked like parked on the Hunaudieres .. together with the impressions taken from here . I am slowly getting a rough idea of the literally unbelievable skill and nerves paving each inch of those tracks 🌷
Little bit of a weird angle. BuT. I love.👍that insane power difference. The other just leave in the straight. But caught in the corners. Excellent driving.
Holy Crap! That was some great driving through the corners. Very cool. Once again it is evident why you do what you do, and I watch on t.v. Thanks for the vid, Leh! Also, did I see a Brumos 935 sneak up in there?
Great drive! A shame that he had to endure these amateur drivers like the yellow Porsche who clearly have more money than driving skills. And the guy in the purple Porsche needs to get his drivers licence. Leh makes these guys look like fools!
Fantastic driving Leh, you out paced alot of the faster cars in the twisties, especially in the Porsche curves, validating why those corners were named in honor of the marque. I come back to this vid often just to hear the wail of that RSR. It looked like it wanted to kill you every lap lol,
Very well driven took advantage of wherever you could , just simply out run in a straight line. But a real nice drive you should be proud of that performance.
Fabulous footage. He’s faster than the other guys everywhere but the straights and that’s not his fault! Great driving, wonderful car. Great racing. Bloody awful driving position in these old 911s - look at the roll cage up by his knees!
You're really an ACE!! Great car, great place, awesome driving! Any chance for a dedicated video on your Porsche (exterior, interior, engine)? Thx for sharing.
Great driving there, also i`m looking for the video of you driving the gsc supra a few years ago as i`m into supras, that video was 1 of my favourites btw, keep up the good work buddy.
Race track:Circuite de la Sarthe. just 4 miles short of length of the Nurburgring its claimed its fare amount of lives due to High speed straights ending in sudden low speed turns. Your reaching access of upto 170-205mph (depending on the vehicle) then down to 40-60mph to a turn some have not prep quick anough to make it. AMAZING TRACK
I can't get why so many drivers seemingly have an in-off pace....I can see them pushing hard out of a curve then slowing down on the straight or in some cases, overtaking this guy at a much higher speed and being again overtaken in the following fraction of the track while going much slower...... Any suggestion ? Pretty good footage, thanks for the upload.
Almost unbelieveable difference in drivers' competence (and experience ?); watching them dance across the track t hey can't be using their mirrors and then overtaken several times - no consistency. Cutting through the traffic at Le Mans must be an art without road-rage :-) !
Great stuff, brilliant driving you were really pushing that old beast :D The real thing definitely seems to handle better than the one on Assetto Corsa lol
Bro look very closely at his right foot when he upshifts. It’s barely coming off the throttle when he disengages the clutch with his left. Very small detail but that to me show a level of skill & finesse. I’m only 3 minutes in 😂 idk who he is but he’s driving his ass off! Aggressive yet, calculated. 18 minutes to go lol Alright I made it to the end & you sir have a new subscriber 🙌🏽
The momentum maintained by smoothness and sheer good driving is a joy to watch and makes some of the other drivers look ragged and clumsy by comparison.
You mean like the guy in the dark blue/purple (?) 935?
@@nicomeier8098 935 is a completely different kettle of fish, the boost and lag are way harder to deal with than the smooth delivery of the 3.0 RSR.
I think Moby Dick driver is good driver, just has a shit load of turbo lag out of the corners...
A 935/78 is also tricky through the corners, it has no differential
It must be very tricky without differential ! There was a time in racing when it was the driver who make the difference, not the electronic system.
Holy crap - I had no idea. I love just watching it shoot fire out the back on it's downshifts
No he isn´t any good Noukz37. Take a look at the braking and his lines. He has no clue
It's a true pleasure to see a driver that know the limits of the car and can use it to it fullest :D
High five one that! :D
Leh Keen has some huge balls! Not only is that car worth way over 1 million dollars... but he only has 280hp... and look at the beasts he is dicing with! The guy is awesome!
? only 280 bhp?
@@toyonda1 Yes
@@tyuy100 No way, it behaves and sounds like it has at least 600 bhp (860 bhp max)
@@toyonda1 Yeah... no.... sound has nothing to do with HP, neither does behavior
@@tyuy100 3.0 RSR 74 is more around 330-350
This guy has guts to spare, and what a spectacular sounding driving machine! No freakin' paddle shifters here... Bloody clutch and stick.
Real drivers use a clutch and stick
I could watch the whole 24hrs from this same view and wouldn't get bored for one second with this brilliant driving of a wonderful car!
11:15 that M1 procar tho! Screaming past, you can hear it going still in the distance.
Oh yeah that was WILD. Too bad he didn't put up more. Hell I could watch this alone for two hours. It's like getting to be one of the garage guys.
Yeah crazy almost gave me chills man
The Charger would dust the M1 if he ever opened it up all the way
Very cool BMW and fast. Wonder what class he was running? Leh's class? I'll have to look it up...
M1 and 911 rsr are my favs. Expensive cars. I only drive them in sim racing.
That was some awesome driving, way better than the other faster cars
Leh Keen is my bloody HERO! What a driver! A supreme Porsche specialist; a most enviable position. Bravo. Bravo. Bravo.
Dam the way he went through Porsche curves on lap 1, absolutely brilliant stuff.
Quite possibly the most enthralling video on TH-cam ! ❤❤❤
Having a lot of experience driving old 911s I gotta say, you're one hell of a driver. It takes big balls to drive them on the edge that well, you deserve that win for sure!
great camera angle... LOVE seeing the footwork!
A pleasure watching him at work, a clean style gentleman🤙
Lea Keen is the Master of Momentum in these old cars, what would be an over-cooked corner entry by mere mortals, he pulls off lap after lap! Turn after turn. Brilliant!
It’s a beautiful dance and not many do it better than this guy.
Wow, what I'd give to drive one of these cars even once. This is some of the best racing I've ever seen.
Wow I've seen a lot of onboards on youtube but this takes the cake! Leh is the best American driver doing it today!
Very nice indeed. Keen is one of my favorite drivers to watch. So much skill on display here if you pay attention. Watch how early he picks the throttle up at, or before each apex, and how he destroys everyone in the fast esses.
Fantastic driving, and what a beautiful sound those old cars make!
I'd love to be able to see the tach at all times.
Such a treat to discover this and revel in Leh's gifts. Found myself watching the mirrors for traffic etc. Such gonads! how you carry momentum and out drive far faster machines. Thanks again and again.

most of the straight line heroes, but this guy is THE DRIVER. great fun to watch in company of a great sound.
That cornering speed is just insane! Realy love your videos!
Absolute amazing!! Drive it like you stole it!!! I was keep watching the right mirror all the time for a pass.... :)
Masterful driving by Leh Keen. What a wonderful 911 video!
Pleasure to watch Leh driving this awesome car.
I like that car in front of him! 2:28 Thank you for supporting my Home track all the way in France!
That crossbar a little too close to knees wouldn't you say!
hate when they put the bar there
That blue 935 should've gotten tickets for illegally parking at all those apexes
A pleasure to watch this guy driving.
My guess is; that a LOT of time and effort went into chassis development - plus one mighty fine driver.. As for the blue 935 ----- well :/
Exellent driving skills! Got great pleasure from watching this movie. Thanks for sharing!
Proof that the best high-performance component you can put on a car is the nut holding the wheel. Superb drive out of the corners!
Clearly a skilled driver with a beauty of a car, thank you for this gem of a vid!
Like a boss! Love your vids. Keep on dominating, Keen!
I can listen to that all day long..
I thought I had done some mad driving(illegal, uk rd's, wen younger) but WOW,could you imagine how terrifying it would be as a passenger! the sound of that engine is monstrous.amazing upload.
Porsche 911= THE Queen of G.T. ! Good drive with good downshifts👍😉🇫🇷❗
Great driving Leh! I didn't realize that the RSR cars were such a handful! Great job! Love watching you drive!
Nice video! Seems the drivers of the other cars need to learn how to extract more from them. What a driver! You, sir, are a legend!
I just love the constant counter steer you need to use with these old 911s
Awesome, but just imagine what that rollcage will do to your legs ;-)
Oh that purple 935 turbo is an absolute beaut.
Love these cars, got to ride shotgun in a '77 RSR at Sonoma raceway, was a hell of an experience and a hell of a driver behind the wheel as well.

What a great drive! When seeing those crazy turbo opponent, nice cornering / apex / braking!
Beautifully balanced little car with a driver to match !.
Little bit of a weird angle. BuT. I love.👍that insane power difference. The other just leave in the straight. But caught in the corners. Excellent driving.
Incredible corner speed! Mesmerising to watch‼️
Holy Crap! That was some great driving through the corners. Very cool. Once again it is evident why you do what you do, and I watch on t.v. Thanks for the vid, Leh! Also, did I see a Brumos 935 sneak up in there?
Outstanding drive, great watching you in the Tudor series too, sorry Brumos isn't racing anymore.
lovely bit of driving Leh . all the best
Amazing to see these vintage race cars racing...just as amazing they would risk losing or damaging them in a crash...
Great drive! A shame that he had to endure these amateur drivers like the yellow Porsche who clearly have more money than driving skills. And the guy in the purple Porsche needs to get his drivers licence. Leh makes these guys look like fools!
Iron Balls + Skill + Elegance : You get this !!
Insane driving skills right there👏
really enjoyed watching you drive! top notch!
Thanks for sharing. Really enjoyed the footage
Awesome driving and beautiful sound. It's fun watching you catch up to the higher hp cars so easily in the corners.
Poor Leh. Somebody go donate him 100hp.

Awesome driving! Loving the broken dash gauges in the $1.5m car
The way that Kremer boost kicks in😱!
Luftgekühlt😝 what else... that sound and how it behaves, omg✨
That engine sounded sooooo sweet !!!
This video should be titled "Vintage race cars parking in the corners" Great driving!!
thanks for the vid.
The driver in the blue 935 is a hack.
+Jaye Bass AGREED!! Relies too much on all that power
+Jaye Bass And the guy in the yellow one is a dirty blocker
changingnames83 We don't like those dirty blockers round these parts.
Ya, he's got the car but he lacks driving skills... must be a millionaire playboy.
@Jaye Bass ...the typical "Gentleman-Driver" only fast on straights and very slow in curves!!!
+mojostevo A 959 was raced back in 1986 and 1987 but the competition version was called a 961.
Excellent driving.
Holy shit! Running these old girls hard, that is some great racing footage.
Thank you for this video!!
you are a amazing racing driver
Great driving I really enjoyed that! I was amazed at how much the driving standards and car capability varied. Certainly have to be on your toes.
Shake and Bake indeed! If you not first your last ...
Very well driven took advantage of wherever you could , just simply out run in a straight line. But a real nice drive you should be proud of that performance.

luv listening to that ol ‘74 motor howl.
Amazing driving!
Fantastic driving, amazing how he has to dodge the sloopy drivers who think they are alone on the track.
Great driving there, also i`m looking for the video of you driving the gsc supra a few years ago as i`m into supras, that video was 1 of my favourites btw, keep up the good work buddy.
I love the way that dark blue Turbo 935 just disappears once they get to Mulsanne.
Ridiculously slow on the corners for some reason tho...

Super clean and precisely drive!
Awesome video.
great drive. great driving.
He is so much better in the corners than everybody else there...
Good top end in the car! What was that attached to the middle of the steering wheel vertically?
WOW, I know it's much harder then it looks, but I wish I had your job! Very Cool! ++++

Amazing cornering speed!
