Ditto. nice to see single pilot JET and done well too. just came thru SLC heading to SGU myself. great landscape out there. funny how your 3+ hour flight is solely judged by the 10 second landing. :-)
I'm not near smart enough to do what you do, but I sure do enjoy watching you do it :-) I like how quick the yaw damper came on after you were wheels up... Ms P1D's comfort must be VERY important ;-) Thank you for taking us along Mr P1d, we sure do appreciate all the work you put into this!!!
Love the Videos ! I’m an Old Man 46 but I love the technology today Compared to the old Steam Gauges I learned from ! Thanks 😊and thank you for your service! 🇺🇸 just an Old Private Pilot !
Thank you for another great flight not inundated with commercials. I appreciate the work you put in. I wish I would have bought more fun shirts when you had them.
Videos have gotten better and better. I've been a truck driver over 30 years. That "rediculous" landing was caused by a bump (rather a wave) you can't even see. We can see and react to the bumps on the ground, nice job none the less. BTW, the pan feature on the passenger camera was pretty sweet...😎😎 Thanks for the vid...
Excellent Flight & Landing Greg! Enjoyed watching you, I learned a lot. Thank you again. Be safe, well & will see you again soon! Airmen777, Louisville KY USA!
Most enjoyable Gregg I did not really appreciate how high the mountains close to SLC were.. But of course one year the Winter Olympics were set there. Thanks for a mention you once gave to Citation Max I am enjoying his channel greatly. Hoping you are all still well,
Amazing Sir.. I will not minding your videos watching every week. Please post more. Thanks for mentioning you used to brought F-16 for depot level maintenance in that route..how that is huge.. I cant even find words.. Serving nation there no pride bigger than that..
Hi, I was a fire chief at a Class C airport many years ago. I wish, that we had videos like yours to use for training. It amazes me, that after many years working in an airport, how little that I really knew about flying a plane, particularly, the commercial, and business jets, that we were there to protect. Please, please, please, keep making more videos. :)
I live north of KSLC in Cache Valley. Pretty cool to see scenery that I recognize. Also, seeing snow caps on the Wasatch mountains says this video was from quite some time ago.
I was driving past the airport that day and looked up and saw a plane landing. I said that looks like 0GM. Now that I see your video, I was correct. Glad you visited as I sit and eat at the restaurant many times with my grandson and watch the planes with him. Thanks for your videos. Always watching. Matt Henning Glendale, Az
Ok! Another fun video to watch. I've been training in a cirrus SR22T at KSDL. I can relate to those "ridiculous" landings!!! Thanks for the inspiration!
Awesome to see you coming to the Phoenix Valley. I am 34 hours into my flight training and have flown into Scottsdale multiple times. Such a fun place to fly here. Love the videos!!! I learn a ton from you.
So glad I found your channel. I hit the subscribe button a while back just to piss off the guy that made the FAA report when you cleared off the runway. Been faithful subscriber since and truly appreciate every video. Thanks for letting me be in right seat so often. Happy subscriber 😃
Loved the Video! Lots of familiar sights, downtown SLC where I work most days, I-15 at point of the mountain which that I drive when visiting the Utah County office, and even the North Rim where I have spent most weekends this summer.
it was Worth the wait for another Video and We know You have a Real job and do these vids for us fans when you have time. Thank You. Hopefully You get some sort of Summer Break
Hi Greg, enjoyed another FLOG. Thanks for taking your time in putting them together and posting them. Would have loved having lunch while you were here but would never impose on your time. I hope you enjoyed your time here. Tim
Yet another great post, not only a great pilot but camera man , editing, and produces a short film every time that beats a lot of stuff on tv. Big fan of these films and the effort in giving us such high quality shots from up front. Brilliant as always .
Another great video Greg. And as someone who lives in the SLC area, and grew up in Phoenix, it was nice to see everything. FYSA Mt Humphreys is a dormant volcano.
It's amazing to see those high based thunderstorms out west. So much different that areas out east. Those high bases create some extreme wind shear with the downdrafts. Another awesome vid!
I have watched several of your videos and they bring back many memories, from when I was an Avionics Tech, 39 years ago. Gees! The info, display on the panel and autopilot is just amazing. Thank You for sharing!!
Enjoyed the sights. landing at KSDL. I work on my golf game in S-Dale and always enjoy watching the private aviation on their approaches into KSDL. Was looking for Pinnacle Peak but didn't see it. Always amazing when landing in the at PHX how the developed land cuts off in a straight line to the east of the airport. Noticed something similar as you were getting closer to S-Dale. I presume that is reservation boundaries.
I love your videos Greg , I am not a pilot but it is very interesting to watch you work and explain the air crafts instruments and landing procedures. I hope you keep showing us the beautiful skies and show some more night flights as well. Stay safe Greg and thank you.
Hi Greg, greetings from Scotland. Great to have you back with another informative video. Superb description of the MFD display and the descent process. I used to fly LHR -PHX on a regular basis, so Scottsdale holds some memories for me, along with Chandler, Tempe etc. On my last visit I drove down to Tucson AZ, to visit the PIMA Air & Space museum. A wonderful experience. Thanks for the latest video Greg, & keep safe and well. Your Scottish interpreter.
Scottsdale is known for having wind like what you encountered. I fly out of Glendale (KGEU) and have run into winds like that in a C172. It definitely keeps you awake. Nice video.
Damn, loving that intro! Not super familiar with porches, but that speedster looks like too much fun. Part of that special club only having 1,948 made. And it's manual too (wouldn't expect any less from a man who flies jets)! Living the dream my friend, a true success story 🙌🏼
Thank you for the flight into Scottsdale! We moved from there 9 years ago and haven't had the chance to go back yet. Also, love what you're doing with Blue 7 and helping to get people who have some challenges to be able to enjoy flying! Stay safe and thank you for sharing your flights.
Great video Greg...Hi P1D Rider 👋...Take off was dark both sides and great view of mountains ..looks like you split dark clouds on both sides headed to blue skys....P1D Rider bet was nervous seeing dark clouds both sides ..I would have been....Nice northern views of grand canyon among others...That landing was gusty for sure haven't seen a reaction like that from you in a very long time..Handled like the great pilot you are..👍🏼..Take care P1D and P1D Rider...🙏
