When Greg lets us know how much the fees and fuel cost were (over $4,000) plus the cost and maintenance of the jet itself , this goes to show just how out of reach this type of lifestyle is for the majority of us. I'm glad Greg can show us all these great vids!
This never gets old for me…been an armchair pilot for years! Gracias for providing us with some right seat time sir. Video production is sublime. 🇺🇸,💪🏼
Thinking YOU couldn't hand fly it was the last thought on my mind ... always one step ahead of the aircraft ... and kudo's to all the right folks ... what a pro!
Hey Greg, my father is a former door gunner on hueys during his term in Nam. 67-68. He was working for Pan American since 63 before the draft. He’s got three boys and really shared his love for flying with us. This is an inspiring video… thanks for sharing your passion.
Due to a lack of new videos from P1D I'm watching the older ones again and they never get boring. Great quality of pictures and also great sound. Also, the way the FMS is being filmed on route, I just love this channel and looking forward to more P1D material! I know it's a lot of work but it's highly appreciated! Thanks!
I hope Greg is doing well, we do miss his post. With all said and done he did great editing and we can continue to come back and watch. Thank you Greg!
It was an honor to work you through 😁 Just heard my voice on 120.72, I’m the first controller at Kansas City Center after Denver (approx 24:00). Ha! I’m newer to the channel so didn’t recognize the c/s just yet. Likely will next time. While I’m at it, thank you for your service! I was in the right place, right time, took a Viper ride out of Tulsa to Eureka ATCAA. Insane and incredible!! Gotta be the best “job” in the world!
While watching, I found myself flaring, and trying to cut engines. I learned to fly 50 years ago. Always wanted one of these little jets, but could never justify it. I even toured the learjet factory in Wichita. I loved it and feel like I am flying this. I am drooling for that right seat. :-) I do remember flying into Love, I learned in Denton, and you are about 5 miles from my mothers house. Really you make me feel like I am flying with you. Thanks. 🙂.
We miss you Greg, but we also know you have a business and family to take care of. Look forward to your next video and sharing your joy of flying. Take care, Ronnie
To me, it's such a privilege to be allowed to "ride along" in the right-hand seat! A cousin of mine flies, inter alia, a Premier 1 here in South Africa. And watching Greg's (amazing!) videos helps me get an idea of what his world looks like. May you, Greg, be richly blessed for sharing these legendary experiences with us!
Thanks Greg, really enjoyed that!! I am not allowed to leave the ground under any circumstances due to a permanent medical situation. I truly appreciate the v-rides, and details! I really miss it, but at almost 70 have accepted it. Thanks for taking the time and effort to do these! IMHO it's a privilege to 'v-ride along'!! PS, I know it's hard, but I hope you can overlook the ID10T's in the comments!! Cheers, --gary
Such beautiful terrain out over the Rockies! Thanks for capturing it and as always sharing your passion for aviation with us all. You and your family have a very blessed week!
Greased that landing by appearances Greg. Great scenics out of Eagle. Really appreciate your efforts giving us a chance to share your flights. Thank you.
Lived in Eagle for a couple of summers during college while working for Colorado Dept of Highways…Later my young family would fly American from DFW to EGE for our ski trips…I’m a private pilot in Texas and own a Saratoga TC…really enjoy your channel. Be well!
I have to say I loved the start-up sequence as well... click click click click click twist nob here, here and here, click that over there and start the engine.
Greg, Comm Pilot here. I'm currently working aerial survey taking photos all day in a 172 working towards ATP minimums. I cannot wait to be in a pilot seat on a jet. If you ever want someone to tag along, I'm all in.
Greg, you keep upping your game, every time I come back in, your production quality keep improving !! I hope you and your staff and family are safe and he healthy. Thank You.
Nicely done, you know, for an older gentleman! :) First, Thank You for your service. Our daughter was USAFA '88, Vance, Castle, then Offutt where she flew the Looking Glass for 7 years. She's now a captain with a major. Lemme say that I'm an old pea-patch pilot, instructor, was an Accident Prevention Counselor (when the FAA had such a thing.) I'm now retired from flying after 45 years and a lot of hours (avionics sales engineer) and taught our daughter to fly when she was just a puppy. I always preached centerline to her and all my studs. I do admire the way you stick to it like it was a rail! You also nailed the thousand foot marker. I dunno who says you can't do it but obviously you can! Another great flight! Thanks for the videos.
Always happy to see your content show up. Depression starts to creep in when I haven't had right seat duty for a while just to sit there and enjoy God's creation all around. Oh I still hold my index finger up and spin it when firing up my 2002 Nissan 4 banger. Cracks up a good friend of mine. Until next time you and yours stay safe.
I just told my wife earlier today I was ready to go on a trip. Thanks for the ride. If you are ever in the area, the local booster club does a flyin breakfast on the first Saturday of every month at PNC. Would love to see you there.
Greg I have been following you for years. Your discipline, your calm, experience, your skill as a pilot, you are simply awesome brother. Keep inspiring us, “Primer November 390GulfMike - cya”
It is mind boggling how complicated the navigation system is but you make it look so simple. Goes to show how experience and training along with currency pays off.
Haha, I was just thinking good on him, he is hand-flying this whole departure and you go and mention exactly that! lol, another great video thanks Greg D
Me and my 4 yr old little girl love to watch your video's! She watches from start to finish. She's fascinated with flying she keeps asking me to take her.
Yes definitely Eagle over Fort Worth Greg really like how you did the time lapse video with the ATC good work let me follow along on your whereabouts thanks a lot enjoyed riding along
I lived in CO in the late 70's at the top of the flatirons above Boulder. At night I could see all the lights from Denver. Beautiful country. I spent lots of time roaming those mountains. Dune buggying, hiking. Following miner trails, exploring old miner cabins. The population was still fairly sparse. I was out there again in 2010 and the place was overrun with people and development. I haven't been back since. Thanks for the aerial tour.
I've lived all over Colorado, and before that all over the country. Now I live down near Durango. Best spot in the US imho. I grew up fly fishing and Durango is a fly fishermans paradise. More world class trout fishing than you could fish in a lifetime within a couple of hours,a lot of it within an hour.
Knowing you are a busy business owner, among other interests, those of us that are hooked on viewing executive jet operations by a purist professional bow in thanks to any efforts you make to post these fine vids. Departure at 7,000' arriving at 480' so, nothing like an all downhill route! And how surreal to do so in shorts and that early Hemingway look! Thanks Greg, you absolutely made my day!
Thank you for doing these. Although I’m not a pilot, I’ve learned a lot watching you do these flights. Maybe one day I can sit in the right seat. And remember, BBQ is my treat if you’re ever in Memphis!
I bet whoever it was that said you can't fly a plane manually wasn't even a twinkle in his daddy's eye when you first flew manually. Thanks for having us along, Greg. It's always a pleasure.
IDK who you are, but I did enjoy your flight and pretty much everything you did during your video and flight. All I can say is, thank you for sharing. I certainly hope that you share more of whom you are so we can absorb more as if you were part of our family and or circle of friends... Blessings in all you do...
Beautiful flight from my home base, Greg! I cringed when you mentioned the Jet-A price. 100LL is still a bargain at $4.30 a gallon here. Keep up the good work. I really enjoy your channel!
Nice touch down 👍 I think you can do anything you want to, It's your Plane. Auto Pilot / No auto Pilot, your call. Thanks Greg fer taking us along. Cheers !!*** From New Jersey. 6 mils south/west from Teterboro✈
Thanks for the Ride Greg! Beautiful scenery in Colorado. I was TDY for a few days many years ago at Colorado Springs when I was a QA for DLA. Peterson AFB had a nice static display of AF fighters, one of which was a F-106 from our fighter wing at Otis. The U.S. Space Force and NORAD is stationed there now. Lastly, I would like to congratulate you on your "Astonishing" display of "Hand Flying". Your military flight training was obviously a great help in Zero Golf Mike's take off and landing worthy of a gold medal.
that was funny atc during the time lapse... atc: smooth rides ahead southwest: we had real light chop but it's better now atc: well let me know if I'm wrong! southwest: wilco
Greg, I've had a lot of MRI's CTScan and PET Scans lately. Probably saved my life. Thanks for your service, and now, your contribution to the medical field.

I guess it would all depend on how you invest your money on your previous career prior to getting into the Private aviation industry
This never gets old for me…been an armchair pilot for years! Gracias for providing us with some right seat time sir.
Video production is sublime.

I tell ya what Greg, you are truly missed here at TH-cam, made my evening to get your notification 🙂🙂🙂
Thinking YOU couldn't hand fly it was the last thought on my mind ... always one step ahead of the aircraft ... and kudo's to all the right folks ... what a pro!
Never change your intro! “The right seat is empty, come fly with me” is just fantastic! Cheers and blue skies from Brantford, Ontario, Canada (CYFD)

Former Navy Air Traffic Controller. Nice to hear both sides again. Safe flying.
Always a delight having you hand-flying us!
Enjoyed the ride along, thanks for the invite.
Really enjoying those high altitude time-lapse shots with the atmospheric music.
I love it, too! It adds a marvellous, ethereal feel to the flight. . . Makes me think of the "Airman's poem."
It was an honor to work you through 😁

I've been following you for a solid 5+ years now. You're doing something right. 👍
Great trip with you. ATC communication was outstanding. Camera work was best I have seen. Thanks!
I had a honor to meet this amazing man☺️ what a humble, kind wonderful man♥️

I love the “light chop” call during the time lapse. Lol. Great video!
Hello
You sir are operating at the top percentile. Hats off.
Listening to your atc interactions were short and to the point. I will try to emulate.
I absolutely loved this flight. The work that was put into it is apparent!
Enjoyed the right seat. Thanks for having me! Great video as usual.
I really appreciate you explaining the FMS and flight levels, etc. I learn a lot every time I watch your videos. Thank you!

Fighter pilots make the best pilots imo. The ingrained discipline, the attention to detail and their total focus on the job at hand.
Greased that landing by appearances Greg. Great scenics out of Eagle.

👋 from a UK aviation fan. Saw your videos through citation max and I gotta tell you how your videos help me unwind after a day at work. Legendary.

Thanks for telling us how the cabin pressurisation system works - I've always been intrigued as to how that works
The passengers actually went lower in altitude when departing the ambient air at Colorado. (cabin altitude was lower than field elevation)
👍 You’ve been missed these past six months. Thx for the ride and beautiful views. Jim
Thanks for keeping the cameras on a few more minutes, beautiful views!
