      if I were an airline pilot I would make it a point that on takeoff I would say to the copilot "punch it chewie", indicating that I wanted him to open the throttle all the way for takeoff :)

    I love this guy he is incredibly infectious because he knows he's informing all of us all the time, a great pal of mine is an AA mechanic 2plus decades now and all of them are so great at keeping those big birds safe we are very fortunate all things considered how that whole industry is progressing.

      lorna, I was looking into it a couple weeks ago. There are websites where you can get a private charter flight. It's a min of 1500 USD. So if you get two more friends, each of you only have to pay 500 :)

    Thanks for a great tour Sam. Some really cool planes around - I think that in terms of profile, my favorite are the Citations... they are really beautiful aircraft. I really wish that I had chosen aviation as my career path when I was a young adult... it is an awesome space to work in the people who are part of it are really great to meet and talk to. 👍🙂

      Do you know what they don't improve on which that would be my first thing to do? How it crash's, why do they all crash like they where built in the 1950's.

      @@Bewefau That's actually kind of an ignorant take of you. Plane crashes exist because the pilots are humans, approximately half of all aviation accidents are caused by pilot error. Plane crashes will still exist in the future, because no matter how safe an aircraft gets, humans are still the one that design, maintain and control it. And there is no such thing as a perfect human. You could argue the same with cars, it's already 2022 and over a million of people die in a car crash every year. Is it because the car companies don't improve their safety features or is it due to the people driving it?

      @@johnjacobvilla6017 Approximately 80 percent of airplane accidents are due to human error (pilots, air traffic controllers, mechanics, etc.) and 20 percent are due to machine (equipment) failures.

    The yacht channels I've seen, when they go to yacht shows, they typically film a ton of yachts at once at the shows but then split each plane up into separate videos, I kind of wish you would do that so we can get more details. Just an idea. I love your enthusiasm and clear love for planes.

      He does videos that feature individual jets, and videos of expos that feature the highlights. There will probably be follow ups to show more details on certain planes, plane expos have pretty limited time.

    the G700 cabin altitude at FL410 is 2900ft... wow thats insane!
    compare that to the cabin altitude for the A350 is at 6000ft. amazing

    Sam you do an amazing job with your channel. Love it. This video really demonstrates the life style that the 1% enjoy vs. us mere mortals. Having flown many times on a Gulfstream G200 business jet in my previous career, it makes you quickly understand why people who can afford a business jet have one. What a luxury.

      I was just looking at this, in America Top 1% is a household net worth of 11 million. I would definitely say this is the average family with a medical doctor working for 20 years. These people are not flying private with any regularity. Heck, they are not even flying first class most of the time. Top 0.1% would be more accurate if you want to talk about who enjoys this kind of lifestyle.

    I live in Geneva really close to the airport and I've been a huge avgeek for almost all of my life. I always thought GVA was a cool airport for spotting because it has the perfect mix of commercial and private aviation. I really wanted to go to EBACE to see all these planes and to meet you Sam because I knew you would be there, but I'm so annoyed that the event is purely a business event.

    I obviously like them all, the Embraer had sheepskin covers on the cockpit seats, nice. They are the most comfortable seatcover for long distance cruising.

    Australia's Royal Flying Doctor Service has 3 Pilatus PC24. We have a lot of unsealed roads here and a vast area to cover!
