Just beautiful - thank you for uploading this - hope one day you and Morrissey get to do more great songs together - the combination of the two of you is just magic.
I’ll never forget the first time I heard this song off the Roy’s Keen maxi single I had just bought at Tower Records, Nashville - back in 1997. Driving home down WestEnd blvd and being transported into a trance of emotions… the music, lyrics, literally made me cry. At 22, I didn’t even know why exactly? Now I do. The power of music I think this song and Lost are perfect and some of the best Moz ever released. AND THEY WERE B-SIDES! lol PS. thank you a million times Alain PPS. I keep hoping
I miss you! Going to see M on November 19th in Niagara falls just a quick ride from home, I dearly wish you were there my friend! Thank you for all you’ve done, you are are exceptional my man ❤👊
Lovely, Alain...so long I hadn't heard that song...your voice is beautiful and fits well Morrissey's vocals.....You are better than Johnny, and you never stabbed Morrissey. Looking forward to how you're gonna sing "my only mistake is I'm hoping ....Bravo!
Beautiful song, Alain, wow… I ‘m someone who met you from your ‘safe at home’ sessions, of course it came on my feed as a long time Smith’s fan, and for a while I just listened to the songs I knew and then the light went on and I realised this sounds too good and the recording professional…so I listened to all your songs and my world opened up to all this wonderful music and your beautiful essence and then to Morrissey’s whole solo career and all the live concerts on youtube - I had no idea what treasure I somehow missed! So thank you Alain, I adore your music and your voice, your harmonies with M are gorgeous and I especially love Maladjusted - music that is so beautiful and meaningful, capturing so many nuances of what it is to be human - art that massively improves life! Blessings to you for all you share
I see art in Alain's heart, it's like a mother's love for a child, it's the same thing when our brother composes. See, not everything can be reduced to profit or money in the madness of this capitalist world, you have to love how this song brings this joy and subtlety. You are the master of chords, you and Dave Evans' big son of a bitch... you are unbeatable.
Can you please show us how you play Roy's Keen? Including the little harmonic part in the beginning? I love your guitar playing it really shaped all of my favorite Morrissey songs!! Thank you!!❤
You are a wonderful musician, thank you for your content and influence on Morrissey’s early years. I was blessed to see you perform in Oakland a few years ago 💚 any way to reach out to have an album sign by you?
I remember loving this track when I first heard it..I love the way it slowly builds as it goes on..just superb.
