Hi Josh and Sarah, What a pleasure to discover your reports. For video/photography, I have the XS-10 which is great but I think it's better to get the XS-20 not for the technical improvements (although 😉 ) but for its batteries which are bigger so will work better in cold weather and it will avoid unwanted cuts on long shots. I regret that the other Fujifilm generation like the XT-4 is fragile. A final advantage with the XS-10/20 is that you can directly expose (by scans) a sensitive silver support with magic development, the famous polaroid, here, = Instax photo, which are durable, resist water and the sun. They don't involve any waste (like ink cartridges or rolls) or heavy or energy-consuming equipment. It's a way of sharing an emotion while travelling. Have a good trip^^
I just love the way your videos are developing, especially the light and colouration you are managing to squeeze out of that slightly dented Fuji T4, I hope you get it sorted soon. I have a Fuji XT20, which I have never had a good relation with, your videos have at least encouraged me to pull it out of the box.

I've been using an x-t2 on all my travels for a few years now. I broke a lens dropping it during some rain and sleet in Achill, but other than that it's been a trooper. I'd also say that you make really good use of it. Great shooting/editing skills and sound, along with some really nice color grading really make your videos stand out from the other "I'll just wave around a gopro" type cycling people on TH-cam. You clearly approach the filming as a photographer/cinematographer, and I can't say what a breath of fresh air that is.
Thank you for your beautiful videos, and the stories they tell. If the repair doesn't hold up, I hope you will think about raising funds from your viewers. I would be so happy to contribute.

Well, I made it this evening and it is absolutely delish. I made double the recipe and left my daughter to put the spice in. I don't think she put in the same amount as you suggest and it was hot enough for me.
@@joshandsarahride just moved to New Mexico. There are decent bike trails here so we need to get my wife a new bike and yeah back to riding. I rode some in Montana but winters there are brutal and the roads tore up tyres.

Thank you! Life on our bikes has certainly taught us to be adaptive. For 2024, more cycling and more videos. The cats are doing well, currently snuggled up on a big cushion as I write this. They are both chipped but only shabba the girl has been neutered as natty, the boy, isn't quite ready yet. Hopefully soon 🐾

How do you find a balance between spending time outdoors and filming it? I feel like there's an adventure filmmaking paradox, the more you make films the less time is left to adventure... I really struggle with that and tend to mostly end up doing one or the other but rarely both.
This is a conundrum and honestly I think it's a difficult line to tread. We have found a good way to strike the balance is going slow. It gives you time to really take in a place, get content and enjoy yourself. We also really love taking pictures, so even a 20 minute walk involves the camera tagging along for the fun of it. It becomes a chour when trying to rack up miles and get content at the same time.
How about if we all get together and give Josh & Sarah's channel a little gift? If you read this message, how about if we all post this video to our own FaceBook page, or whatever other media you use, in order to help get their channel "out there." Maybe others will view it and subscribe as well! 😃

Well, I made it this evening and it is absolutely delish. I made double the recipe and left my daughter to put the spice in. I don't think she put in the same amount as you suggest and it was hot enough for me.

@@joshandsarahride just moved to New Mexico. There are decent bike trails here so we need to get my wife a new bike and yeah back to riding. I rode some in Montana but winters there are brutal and the roads tore up tyres.

Thanks so much! There are two infact, feral kittens who set up shop in a garden shed with their mum. Their mum got run over so we've taken in shabba and natty to domesticate them and find them a forever home.

What are the plans for 2024? And it was great ti see the cats 😍 being a big cat fan I have to ask will they be getting neutered vaccinated and chipped? I only ask as it’s apparently illegal to not have them chipped now 🤦🏻♂️ and obviously the other two things are for the cats benefit 👍🏻
Thank you! Life on our bikes has certainly taught us to be adaptive. For 2024, more cycling and more videos. The cats are doing well, currently snuggled up on a big cushion as I write this. They are both chipped but only shabba the girl has been neutered as natty, the boy, isn't quite ready yet. Hopefully soon 🐾

How do you find a balance between spending time outdoors and filming it? I feel like there's an adventure filmmaking paradox, the more you make films the less time is left to adventure... I really struggle with that and tend to mostly end up doing one or the other but rarely both.
This is a conundrum and honestly I think it's a difficult line to tread. We have found a good way to strike the balance is going slow. It gives you time to really take in a place, get content and enjoy yourself. We also really love taking pictures, so even a 20 minute walk involves the camera tagging along for the fun of it. It becomes a chour when trying to rack up miles and get content at the same time.
How about if we all get together and give Josh & Sarah's channel a little gift? If you read this message, how about if we all post this video to our own FaceBook page, or whatever other media you use, in order to help get their channel "out there." Maybe others will view it and subscribe as well! 😃
