Dehancer is the real deal...they however really need to work on stability and performance...constant crashes on windows machines (rtx 3080 with 10Gb Ram, good machine) really made it very unreliable for pro work... if youve finished your entire project and then cant render it out until you regrade the entire thing with Filmconvert its just a bad thing... but i LOVE the Image, i REALLY do!

Hi, I have a question regarding my camera, Panasonic HC-V180. What setting do i have to choose in Dehancer? Source, Camera, Vendor, Format? I cant find information on the internet about it.
If there is a dedicated profile in Dehancer, we suggest you use it first.
If for some reason it doesn’t work, you can use any available means (CST, IDT, factory Luts, manual de-Log) for interpreting your source material in Rec.709 for further processing with Dehancer. Additinally you can refer to the manuals on our website.

What's the difference between trying luts or presets of some other TH-camr's & using dehancer?

@dehancer, is it a lifetime license ? Does it give all free future upgrade including major version changes ?
A lifetime license grants access to all future updates at no additional cost.

Camera profiles in Dehancer are designed to interpret low contrast (Log) video to normal contrast (Rec.709). Creative shooting modes (e.g. S-Cinetone), as well as video with normal contrast (e.g. HLG) do not need gamma curve interpretation and can be used as is, while Rec.709 should be selected in the Input of the plugin.

Can I use Dehancer on Davinci Resolve (free version) ? and is there any limitation ?
Yes, you can. The only limitation is that due to system access restrictions, the plugin will not work correctly in DaVinci Resolve or DaVinci Studio installed from the mac App Store.

Hello, Dehancer people! I didn't recieve a reply from my email. I wanna know if I buy the lifetime license I can use it on different programs. I'm aware I can get two seats, but could it be one in a windows machine with DaVinci Resolve and another seat on a final cut pro on macbook (for example)?

Each Key is suitable only for the certain host application.
For example, if you already own a Dehancer plugin for DaVinci, you can’t use this License for upcoming Final Cut Pro Dehancer plugin activation.

I got a question, will dehancer ever be available as a plugin for a software such as figma or photopea ?
Hello! Thank you for your interest. Figma is the layout design software, Dehancer raster effects cannot be applied to vector layouts, and Figma plugin api probably doesn’t allow this. Photopea is the browser-based application that doesn’t support image processing plugins, only the JSON scripts.
