Everyone is enjoying this: the orchestra, the conductor, the audience, such a lyrical and elegant music
the first part is about sex,
Nothing ever surpassed the late romantic style.
So true! That was the zenith of Western Civ. The acme, the apex. It has been a slow downward trajectory ever since.
@@harryhagan5937 Except that we're better off in almost every measurable way since then but sure.

@@samdajellybeenie14 I think he meant musically, not bridge construction.
subtil, filigran und doch auch beschwingt. wunderbar!
I love being able to see the orchestra! This group is particularly thrilling. What a pleasure to watch, what an extravagance. I feel so lucky.

This is so beautiful. I played the piano version this morning.
Latin American passion (Andres Orozco-Estrada) + German thoroughness = captivating joy and beauty
The extraordinary beauty of Rosenkavalier has nothing to do with Latin American passion and everything to do with Strauss’s compositional genius.
@@Dan474834 what he is talking about is the conductor!
he is Colombian and did a very good work right there
ofc Strauss's is a genius
but it is the work of everyone that makes the good music
Loved it.The conductor and the orchestra used their whole bodies to capture the wonderful lilt that so characterizes this work.
This German music is as delicate, gorgeous, and deeply human as Japanese poetry. The different artistic expressions of our common humanity never ceases to amaze.
Truly, it strains credulity to characterize music as "German" or "French"....although there are at times Identifying Markers. Perhaps the phenomenon is best defined in German, "'Schuldaufdeckungsangst…..Ebenmäißgkeitsentzückung Aktionismus Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz!"
Herzlich, Mexikaner Donaudampfschiffahrtsgesellschaftskapitän !
@@steveegallo3384 , I call it German because it was written by a German, it’s that simple.
@@laci9651 Richard Strauss was born in Munich, Germany.
@@nicolasleenaerts5309 He was passed away in Garmisch Partenkirchen, Germany, probably in music of "Im Abendrot"
@@steveegallo3384Truly, it strains my patience to witness yet one more mocking of my language.
Splendid. A talented conductor, a fine orchestra and the magical music of Richard Strauss come together very eloquently.
Bravissimo to the oboists👏🌹❤👏
Oh I just luvvvvvvvvvvvvv this piece of music, and the rendering is absolutely exquisite. As an oboist I really love the oboe section, which instrument I have a sneaking suspicion was close to Strauss' heart. I had a flute player who used to send me sidelong glances like this one is doing, if she's critical of him I can't imagine why, their intonation is fabulous and the subtlety a delight 🙂
What?? Where did you see that?😮
I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS ORCHESTRA!!!!!!!
Long live Andres and Frankfurt.
I have read that Andrés Orozco-Estrada had signed for Viena Philarmonic. He is an excellent conductor snd trough him I discovered this fabulous HR FRANKFURT symphony whose conductor was few years ago Paavo Jarvi. This orchestra has been my favourite last years.
Wonderful performance as usual. Thank you HR!!
@@andreasuhm-binder8258 that's also great! Thank you!
A very musical version of the Rosenkavalier - a genuin joy to hear and watch . Thanks a lot!
Delightful. Never tire of hearing this luscious music.
Che splendida orchestra!! Una gioia per i sensi...
What an orchestra ! Fabulous playing!

Amazing ! I didn’t think I would enjoy this that much.
Coisa linda! Obrigado!
So beautiful!!!!!!!
Wow. Absolutely splendid.
Bravo. Wirklich toll gelungen
A%mazing! Totally Beautiful!
formidable !!!! Bravo et merci !!!!!
Perfetto!!!
Ravishing! It was wonderful!
Just sublime!
Me encantó la interpretación. Bravo 👌💪
Beautiful❤️👏
Lovely... At 16:18 hear where Nino Rota found his inspiration for Fellini's 8 1/2.
Anybody here thanks to Murakami? Genial!!

It sings to your soul. Iron out your doubt. Be gorgeous.😘
Menshiki Wataru always puts this on when he visits my studio.
As good as it gets.
Komposisi yang manis. 👍🏾✨

like the last commentary,I agree/-
Murakami brought me here.
Echt bewundernswert!
19:15 - 20:05 oh give me that tonic !!!
I appreciate the tempo around 8:00 and omwards.
22:30 Waltz
This is the best performance I've ever heard of this piece that I love so much, this conductor and these orchestra are genius, the tempo is perfect, I don't like it it slower specially the part of 15:31, this is definitely the way.
Doesn't that second oboist play for the Berlin Phill?
Muuusic🌈
The most striking moment: the (female) flutist's face expression at 3:00 (while she actually doesn't play!)
Clara Andrada de la Calle. Even her name is pure music. 🥰
10:52, beautiful
Strauss è uno dei miei musicisti preferiri. Esecuzione eccellente ed emozionante.
"Killing Commendatore" brought me here.

Tell me I'm not the only one who came here after reading "Killing the Commendatore"😆
Excellent orchestra and conductor. Toward video ending a younger blond new conductor is there only brief time. What is that? Anyway enjoyable performance

Conductor is not that into Walz, but still a very good performance.
I don't understand why in the arrangement the voices of the singers were not included somehow (when they are not doubled in the original, of course). I love the trio so much that I can tell when there is a voice missing and it feels like a karaoke. Thankfully it's only a couple of moments where it's truly noticeable. But I just wonder: was is so difficult to reorchestrate it? (I read it wasn't Strauss who put the suite together, and I'm so sure he would have done something else with the orchestration that it makes me sad). Amazing performance this one though! 💪
I felt the same when I heard it for the 1st time many years ago. But now I think that the orchestra version has its own flow of music which is different to the original trio version, it's different but its simplicity with no distraction has a more powerful rendering musically. for instance passage from 18:55 to 20:15 and the impressive legato at the end.
Don't want to draw a conclusion here which is better but they are both beautiful in their own ways.
@@allenhuug8650 of course, it is totally different and I also really like it with just orchestra, especially because it takes 3 amazing singers for this section to be successful, and it's not always the case. But I didn't mean that I miss the actual physical voices of singers taking part in this version. What I miss is their melodic lines, as they were composed, which ARE indeed perfect and what I find a pity is that there are moments in which those notes are not even to be heard in this orchestral arrangement, they get totally lost in this version. Any original voice line that didn't have a doubling instrument: lost! I'm sure they could have been played by anyone. A very clear example is the chord at 17:43, one of the singers (I think Octavian) sings the 9th of the chord which actually changes it's sonority quite a lot. But here this note is not played by anyone... so it's actually a different chord 😭 Anyway! I feel we both have got each other's point hehe
🇰🇷🇰🇷🇰🇷👍🙂😊😇🙏🙏🙏

I think Strauss’s egomania was so insufferable because it was justified
