And right then, Komali looks around for Medly. Entirely ignorant to the fact that he'll never see her again. That always makes me cry when I replay this game
I replayed Wind Waker a few months ago. After i visited Dragon Roost after this Dungeon, i found out that Komali is still standing there with his Flower, which withered while he was waiting.
It’s not like Medli stayed at the temple forever though. You can see her on the pirate ship at the end of the game. I think the implication is she is returned to Dragon Roost after her role is done just like Aryll is returned to Outset Island. Also, Komali was also there with the ship so he and Medli have reunited since.
this makes me cry everytime..... i cant imagaine just finding out that you have a purpose in the world u live in, the person u looked up to KNEW about your fate and didnt tell u but just decided to guide you and teach you right. and the music just brings the moment together. i cant imagine the feelings and thoughts that were going through her head as she was being exposed to all this.
I played this scene at night... when she says.. "lets go quickly... and quietly" I just... couldn't help but feel so sad... the dragon roost meltody breaking off made it sadder for me
Medli is so unique to me. She has a beautiful ancestry and such a heart. Don't know why, it's so emotional to me, but it's when seeing both Laruto and Medli playing together. I was EAGER to team up with her in the earth temple 😊😊
It took me way longer than I thought it would to track down a gamecube copy of Wind Waker to play on my Wii, and only after booting it up did I remember the console caps at 480p, so anything I play on it feels like subjecting myself to some ultra specific torture method used by the CIA. I always thought it was kind of weird that the flying bird person was the sage of earth while the plant kid was the sage of wind, and not the other way around.
Don't you love it when you hear the title theme in other parts of the game

It's my personal favourite.
I'm certain they'll release it for the Switch 2. It's a system seller for a lot of people, including me.
Such a bittersweet moment
I just realized that Zora's domain in many other games has a harp as the main instrument of the theme!
Yeah, no matter which version you play, this part is an unusual emotional scene.
This game was so far ahead of it's time. Really mature content and timeless artstyle.
the music that plays after the duet is also amazing

What I found stupid was at the water folk evolved in the flying folk when the world was flooded
@@Shockwave33i think the reason for that was to prevent them from being able to see hyrule underneath, since it was flooded in order to keep it secret
