    I want to try this but will that solution damage my plant? I love my plant so much cause i faught with my supervisor to have a plant on my desk. Will it damage them?!?
    Edit: if i use it daily?

    • @theplantgirl116
      @theplantgirl116  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi! This won’t damage your plant, if you rinse it after some interval as I suggested in the video. Using the chemical solution is a one time process which you should follow. Once done, you can go for manual removal of bugs or dipping plant in water to remove the bugs. Pls make sure you follow all this very carefully. Frequent usage of chemical may harm the plant. Also, make sure that you don’t overwater the plant during the process as this may harm your roots.
      I would suggest you to use chemical solution only once, then rinse the plant. And then manually remove any leftover mealybugs. This would remove all your bugs. Observe your plant closely till all the bugs are gone.
      Hope this helps!! 💚

      Yes you can do that. But please make sure, not to consume tulsi leaves by any means for any purpose, be it medicinal, during this period. This was an obvious thing which you’d be already aware. I mentioned it here just for precaution. Hope this helps! 😊

    Thank you for such multiple ideas to remove mealybugs! 🙏 We should unite ourselves to fight against these tiny alien creatures which landed on earth thousands of years ago! 😂 just kidding! But on a serious note thank you for variety of ideas , I haven't seen anyone discuss so many ideas in one video. Usually what we see is people spraying their plants
    ... That's it. Nothing more than that. 🤐

      Thank you so much for your kind words! 💚 Glad to hear that you found the video helpful. Together, we can certainly unite and combat these tiny alien creatures (metaphorically, of course!) by sharing knowledge and implementing various strategies. Your support and encouragement mean a lot to me. Happy gardening, and may your plants thrive bug-free! 😊💚

    This is from India.
    If you are courageous try the method I have used and found successful. I tried it in shoe flower successfully. Take one liter of water.Add a small spoonful (may be 10 ml) kerosine and 5 drops of dish wash. Mix them well and spray it well on the plant. Verify after two days. There will be no bugs. If you found a few here and there try it once more and I am sure there will not be any bugs.
    If you have doubt, try it in one plant and see the result.

    • @theplantgirl116
      @theplantgirl116  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Thanks for this. I’m scared that use of kerosene might harm the plant. But if it worked for you, I’ll research further on this and if suitable for my plants, will try this out definitely. Thanks a lot for sharing 😊

    How often can we spray the dishwashing liquid solution ? For my plants, even after I wash them and spray this solution, the very next day I see the bugs back 🙈

    • @theplantgirl116
      @theplantgirl116  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey! You can keep a gap of 3/4 days and follow this process again. Also you might need to remove some bugs manually. Just make sure you’re rinsing the plant nicely after chemical treatment. I created this video few months back and today all these plants are thriving very nicely with no bug at all. They have become more bushier also 😍 Hoping your plants to get rid of these mealybugs 😤 very soon 🤞🏻

      One most important thing.. keep the affected plants separated from your other plants. I’ve also mentioned the same in video. Please make sure to follow this, we can’t afford other plants getting infected too 🥺

    • @theplantgirl116
      @theplantgirl116  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, yes we can use multiple alternatives but all these are difficult than using neem oil. We can use chemical pesticides but that is not suggested as it might harm the plant. We can also use mix of few spices but I’ve not tried that yet, I’ll try and post that on my channel.
