Neem oil ka option hai Neem ke patto ko kuch time tak boil karne ke baad ush water to spray Kare toh bhi effective hota hai. Edit: Boil water ko thanda hone de.
Tried all of them, however, none of the methods worked for me... Thankfully a friend suggested to spray tobacco soaked water on the plant and it really worked✌🏻
The most effective and persistent way is to spray thyomethoxom ( ekka , ektara ,areva, etc) accompanied with monocrotophos ( monoseal, sreram mono etc)

Last month i bought a hibiscus plant, and just after 15 days it was attcked by these mealybugs. I tries to remove it by hands, by still they dont go. I will try these steps. Hope they work out.
Only last method is good. First method is only applicable for small plants which are planted in the pot Second method may found more effective, but the more effective they were the more damage there was to the plant. Soaps work by penetrating and dissolving the cells covering the insect's body, resulting in dehydration and death. Plants also have a wax covering that is affected by the soap. The plant may not die instantly. But, disintegration of the leaf's outermost layer may result in the loss of water and dehydration of the plant.
i tried all these "organic" methods. all are BS methods. Bugs always come back in few days. besides some times saop method caused the entire tree to shed its leaves. now i use imidacloropird systemic pesticide. im so happy now.

@@VicToria-sd1dn I find our conversation somewhat funny. somehow , i did not think you would take me seriously . You have to wash away thing after sometime or it'll burn everything. You can do this method in the evening after sun has set and wash away the detergent thoroughly before the sun rays hit the plant hard.
mealybugs are soft-bodied, wingless insects that often appear as white cottony masses on the leaves, stems and fruit of plants. You probably have a different pest there.
@@ViswanathVRao small white flies are different from mealy bugs. And Yes they fly to another plant😅 It is very tough to remove them. @ABHISHEK BANERJEE You can try to check if mealybugs are present in base of the stem(remove some of the soil near the base if needed) uproot the plant gently and check the roots for infestation. If are mealybugs present in roots then u can directly apply rubbing alcohol on them and then repot plant in soil mixed with Diatomaceous Earth. If however the Infestation isnt underground then make sure to wash your complete plant thoroughly with soap water or even shampoo water in the evening. Make sure u get ALL of the bugs and eggs as u said your plant is quite bushy and if u miss then the eggs will cause population to explode again. You can also sprinkle Diatomaceous Earth on the soil around your plant to prevent ants from coming again
besides these methods we must try to prevent ants from freely moving on a plant.even if we spray an anti ant spray at the bottom portion of the stem of a plant the ants because they lose the smell trek do not come on that particular plant thus eliminating possibility of milibugs .
Dip earbuds in rubbing alcohol/sanitizer and clean the mealy bugs, they will melt the bugs away... If you have a huge plant, then just spray the solution...
