I almost always state my height as I know not everyone will watch some of my other videos to know my height. I apologize I didn’t mention it in this video. I am 6’4” or 193 cm
@@MOHAWKAUTO cool cool. All good. This was the very first video I've seen of yours. Wow you're tall 😅 I'm 6'0. I'm on the fence about purchasing a 3 row SUV. My options Mazda CX-90, Toyota Grand Highlander, Volvo XC-90, Lexus TX 350. Any thoughts on which is the most reliable for owning for a long while?
@@zayns_the_mane5066 those are all great choices. I’ve done a few videos on the Grand Highlander and I’ve done one on the TX 350 as well in which I compare the TX 350 to the Grand Highlander a little. I recommend giving those a view if you liked this video.
@@grouchosays I did do a video on a new Tahoe a few months ago you should check out. Personally, for the price and utility, I’d opt for a Tahoe. The third tow not being able to fold flat in the Sequoia is a big problem for me. The Sequoia is a great vehicle, but not the vehicle for my family and how we would use it.
Awesome SUV! That third row is a deal breaker for my use case unfortunately. I'd pull the trigger on this beauty today if they had only engineered the hybrid system without invading third row head space or lay flat storage.
@@bigdap100 thank you! Also, you did see TRD badges because it has the TRD Off-road package option. However, it’s not the TRD Pro trim which has a lot more off-road goodies.
You’re adorable. It’s not an ego trip and being big isn’t great. It’s simply a test I do to give people an idea of how much space there is or isn’t. It’s not that different from the old meme of using a banana for scale.
@@MOHAWKAUTOdude you did this video trying to redeem yourself from your mediocre Sequoia review where you thought the Grand Highlander was better LOL what were you smoking???
@@soaringeagle7571 subjectively the Grand Highlander is better. Unless towing is your main concern, you don’t mind not having a decent 3rd row and usable storage behind it, and the weird not flat third row fold down situation isn’t a bother, and you couldn’t care less about fuel economy. This isn’t a redemption video because I have nothing to redeem myself for.
@@MOHAWKAUTO Objectively, the Sequoia is a better vehicle, larger in all aspect and has more amenities than the GH. Would you like to be lectured on it? The third row on the Sequoia is much superior than in the GH, it slides front and back, it reclines, and it is roomier (bigger seats, more cushions, has USB ports on both sides, cup holders and bigger windows and shades. @@soaringeagle7571 you should probably look up what subjective means. It would probably be very helpful if you STATED your height at the very least instead of saying a person your size. Thanks.

We’re trading our Volvo XC90 for the Sequoia. The Volvo was awesome but we’re Toyota fans.
I'm 6'7" tall. My kids are going to be tall as well...

Great review! Wonder how it compares to the Tahoe/Yukon? Reliability the same? I’m on the fence between the two. How do I get a comparison?

@@MOHAWKAUTO thx. I’m a 73 year old geezer who just likes a big SUV. Had a 4 Runner.
So does it have navigation or not?
Yes, but no. It’s capable, but only with a subscription.
@@MOHAWKAUTO if I don't subscribe the navigation turns off? I'm talking about real gps, not telephone nav
@@hassandawudi4810 I’m saying if you don’t pay Toyota a subscription for the navigation, it won’t work.
Grand Highlander has a ton more room, this thing needs to be redesigned completely

It’s unfortunate for sure
Get the Grand Highlander HybridMax then !
If I need a 3rd row I’m going minivan and so are most
The vehicles can’t stay on the line because Toyota is the number one company in reliability

The SR5 is the base model

Ok, why is the guy trying to fit himself in the third seat or the back? It looks like his ego trip showing everyone how big he is.

I know fitting in the back of that wouldn’t really work, but I’ve sat in the front seats of them no problem
