Omg, I always wondered why I can't do this when I can standing. No one ever told me to rock forward onto my sit bones. Thanks!!!

  • @deo3367

Sit on your bone…. Oh no. I bruised my tailbone surfing a year ago… and it still hurts. I can’t ride in a car for 45 without massive pain. I can’t sleep on my back without waking up barely able to move because my coccyx hurts so bad. I will figure something else out to be flexible.

I wasn’t able to touch my toes for decades and after daily yoga for 6 months I’m folding like a PBJ sandwich 😅

For the first time in my life I feel seen with my struggles in forward folding! I have always had very tight hamstrings despite working out my core a lot- especially how I trained a lot several years ago. Recently I have been strength training more powerfully again and naturally started tilting my pelvis forward and experienced this shift on my own- but hearing it and seeing it demonstrated like this felt so good to know I was heading in the right direction without creating an injury or something. Thank you so much for this!

  • @dianerose2998

I was never told about this pelvic rock to assist in this stretch. It absolutely helps! Huge difference, thank you!

  • @Nature4U1

More like this please! As a not flexible person is so difficult to know how to do yoga without forcing the body in the wrong direction

They need a folder blanket under the sit bones help as well. That lift makes a big difference

OMG after 29 years of not knowing today I could! Thanks you so much!!

Finally I found a tutorial. My dance teachers never explained me how I should do this exercise and I always used to end up doing it wrong all along.

Thank you, I only follow yoga videos that have alternative poses for people with less mobility, and you got yourself a subscriber with this short.

I watched a video, not yours, that was critiquing exercises and some of them looked like ones that I were doing. He said they were ineffective and didn't work anything. I got really sad and felt like I did and tried for nothing and that I failed. I'm very glad to have found your video. It really brightened my day. I'm not really flexible and am working on that so this gives me some hope that I'll make it to my final fitness goal. Thanks so much!

  • @ohyesshecane

Thank you! I have not seen an explanation this thorough before- can’t wait to try it out during my next stretch session!

  • @spacefan36

OMG!! Now I get it, you are the first person ever to be able to help me in this!! -_-
