Best sitcom ever. I’ve lost count how many times I have watched every episode (it’s on every weekday morning on Channel 4 in the U.K. and has been for at least three years!) yet they still make me laugh. I find it comforting now more than ever. Great writing, acting, characters. It’s a classic example of a now lost art.

Funny how in earlier seasons, Niles knew nothing about cooking but now he is excellent at it. I wish long-lived series would pay attention to inconsistencies. One show, Frasier was speaking German; in a later show, he apologized for not knowing German. Other series are guilty of this sort of thing, too. Sometimes the characters’ names are changed! For example, on Leave It To Beaver, Larry Mondello was originally Frankie. On The Lucy Show, her son’s name was changed from Jerry to Jimmy.
I think 🤔 I watch too much TV.
