The Basset, is really soft and sweet and totally laid back. The weenie dog, who weighs all of nine pounds, thinks he can kick the whole world's ass. Plus, he chases my cat. They're like watching a cartoon all of the time. I love them so much.

They have all died now, but next July I am getting 2 more (ordered and deposit placed). Color doesn’t matter, but I prefer females. Peanut and Oreo were the names of my last 2 bassets.

I had a friend in town visiting and we took his Basset hound with us to a bar with an outdoor area. I swear that dog thought it was his birthday with half the people that saw him fawning over him and petting him. Dog was shameless, but still a good boy.
Absolutely he is huge now sleeps in the most awkward positions slobbers everywhere has mentor zoomies but is the most gentle caring cuddle dog ever and he adores his mum in the video
My boyfriend gave me a basset hound puppy for Christmas; when we got to the farm, I was introduced to the little guy: I started crying, etc. I was told that my puppy had the longest ears of the litter...now, Homer has a very loving home. And his ears get wet when he drinks from his water bowl!
That puppy looks just like the little girl I got last Thursday. I named her Raven. I also got a beautiful brown and white girl that I named Juniper. They are beautiful. They are the 5th and 6th basset hounds for me.
