I had a 74 710 sedan with a L18 motor. I had a 5 speed from a 200sx. 1st gear down and it fit without mod. Your skyline is really Nice!!

Wow, such a nice car to see. Really well done. I remember seeing a silver celica of a similar era/year on a farm i worked at years ago. The car was used as a paddock basher😢. Sometimes the bonnet/hood was used to tow people behind the car. So glad to see the skyline in the video.
Man this is perfection, from the multiple sets of wheels like the unobtainium nissan works watts, the only thing that would set it over the edge for me would be a L28 with the OS Giken twin cam head and itb's
*Those motors.. are things of beauty, but I'm we all know, they're over $30,000.. And then add the cost of whatever else you decide to do internally to the top or bottom end, plus labor if you don't have space/aren't mechanically inclined to put a motor together, which equals, well..I imagine an RB26 makes more practical sense.*
Have you seen that guy who made a custom DOHC head for the L28 by grafting 3 K20 heads together? Hard videos to find but I have it saved. Basically an L28 with VTEC and it sounds fucking gnarly.

I love these body styles, of the Porsche too the 240z to the skyline to even the mark 1 mustangs. Is there a specific name for these body styles? Coupe 2+2 or 2+0 hardtop? I'm curious if there's lesser known bodies available for cheaper.

Oh you weren't playing with that whole face melting JDM hotness. Got the chance to see this car at Historic J in Santa Monica (if anyone remembers that). Such a well turned out car (and the first Wild Cards car I ever saw).

Thats a Datsun 240k here in Australia, be lucky to find one now days though due to rusting away . Datsun (Nissan) didn't paint the inside if panels so any moisture got in the panel rusted out
Used to mess around with datto's in the 90s.... 1000, 1200, 1600 , 180b , 200b ,240k , even a 120y...... good times

Looks like a 70's Mazda RX-4 coupe. Lovely body on the skyline, but I don't get the "let's put skinnier tires on the wheels than normal so the rims stick out" thing.
