You shouldn't play CS:GO with every setting set to low. Shadows on high will allow you to spot your enemies on the edge of the smokes easier. Effect and shader detail will help with visibility though the Molotov when close to it.

Even a gamer like Shroud acknowledges this is the case. Settings DO matter and these click bait comments are reaching a point of sadness and edgyness that even someone with a username like mine is thinking youre trying too hard.
More fps = lower input latency too. Also some game settings on certain games make enemies harder to see. I’m praying to get away from my prebuilt pc from 2018 and upgrade to a better custom made one this October 😋
I would also add that some aspect ratios may help you focus more and "expand" enemy's heads. Saturating colours may help, having a "hard" display may be useful. Hardwae speaking I noticed that with Ryzen 5 5600x, 16GB Crucial 3600mhz, GTX 1060 I can play CSGO at 250-400fps and Valorant at 300-500 fps. Delta is big bc graphic performance depends of how many players are alive, utilities are displayed and much more stuff. And yes, I use a 30hz crt display.
They're completely neglecting the type of settings that go for IMAGE CLARITY first plus trying to achieve max framerates. Which btw isn't that much of a loss of FPS compared to how much easier things become visible.
Nvidia video cards are still better, but for processors AMD is awesome.... that said, highest end intel still usually gets a slight lead on AMD processors for frames.

You should make a video covering what games are available on PC that controller players can keep up, if not to better. There are tons of pro players in tons of gaming scenes like COD and Rocket league, Halo and splitgate where controller players can keep up. I mean aim assist strength clearly plays a big role, but stuff like different movement types can also see an advantage on controller. It could make a real interesting video!

Personally when I play competitive shooters I have everything off or low... except for Anti aliasing! Turning that off makes it look like complete garbage.
Right click on your desktop and go to Nvidia settings. Then go to color settings. Then look for “color vibrance” or a slider named something like that. Then just slide it up
as a pc enthusiast and not very competitive, one advice is to try msi afterburner to see your fps and what load in your hardware bottlenecks it...... if details or shadows affect gameplay then either turn them off or on....a few things to note if you are new to pc building: - do NOT overclock your cpu unless you know what you are doing, you could brick your cpu or mb if you do that - turn on xmp if you havent already, it might be scary to go to the bios but it is worth for more performance - try to tune your gpu using afterburner, make sure to take it easy when overclocking or it might die from the heat (you can set up fan curves if you do that) - monitor settings are somewhat different from each person but refresh rate will always be turned on - lastly, to check if there are no bottlenecks... simply go to task manager by pressing ctrl + shift + esc, open it while gaming and check if the load on the cpu and gpu must be somewhat close like %90 gpu and 60% cpu would be ideal..... and memory should always be better the more ram you have or the lesser the load
I used to play SC2 on the lowest possible setting to see cloaked units easier, my machine could run ANYTHING on ultra graphics back when sc2 was new btw.
Surprisingly, some medium settings for valorant are optimized better for FPS than the low settings. I’m pretty sure it’s the top 2 ones you wanna turn into medium settings if you need FPS.
Can’t forget about the shadow and shading settings that help you see through mollies better in CSGO

For those who are not rocking g-sync or freesync displays, RTSS Scanline Sync runs in every monitor and can help with screen tearing.
