I knew deep down his heart he's afraid but for his father, he would do anything for him even masking fear and tears, he would. just for his father to have a second better life. That's a true heart of a man out there.
I disagree. I don't think he was scared to donate i think he was worried for his father's health as he must of known that even a bone marrow donation does not mean it would 100% work. That's how i would feel, i know with a donation 99.9% i won't come to any harm but for it to work the chances are much lower
Moral lesson that I learned from this video: 1. Don't judge a person by his appearance 2. Don't give up on life 3. Don't hesitate to help a person who needs help
And most importantly always treat our parents with utmost respect and kindness. If they are unjust to us pray for their forgiveness . All The Prophets of ALLAH were a blessing for their parents always obedient never insolent.

That part where he said he isn't afraid of pain cuz they'll give anesthesia. You can see he actually was nervous about this whole thing but his determination got him through cuz I kid you not, bone marrow extraction is really painful.
Not sure how common it is in china but at least in germany you mostly do it by taking Granocyte. This will cause stemcells to accumulate your blood. Then your blood is taken and the stemcells filtered out. Not more painfull than a blood transfusion.
He could've eaten himself to death by accident, or gotten stung by a venomous scorpion, or the marrow extraction could've gone wrong. There was so much risk associated with what he did but he didn't hesitate even once because his desire to save his dad was stronger than his desire to avoid the risks. What a wonderful young fellow.
Edit: I wanted to say that I meant that I was sad that he was going through this (coming from an asian who was overweight), but I admire his courage and his love towards his father for being a donor. | This guy is sentencing himself to a life of medical problems, all to save his dad. He'll most likely die at a young age, and suffer from chronic health problems for his entire life. This really changed my viewpoint on the world, as why does it have to fall on our children to take care of us? Why can't we have more donors so that people like him don't need to sacrifice themselves? Don't get me wrong, this guy is doing a great service to his father. I'm just sad that he has to be the one to take the fall, as he could have a bright future ahead of him.
@@SPV321 it was the boys choice, he was most likely warned of the dangers of doing this but he wanted to save his family, if you don’t have your family then what do you have?
@@SPV321 45kg is honestly not that heavy lol (and I'm a skinny Asian who grew up in Asia myself, not some fat American used to obesity). It's probably still within the average weight range for an 11 year old boy, maybe slightly on the upper side of the scale. He's just on the chubbier side now, far from obese. Also, he's eating whole homecooked meals and not junk food. As long as his parents help him revert back to healthy portion sizes in future, hopefully he'll be okay. It is an immense sacrifice not without risk and he's an amazingly sweet boy, but at the same time it's still a healthy weight range or the hospital would not have allowed it.
*Warning! Small Rant:* As the daughter of a cancer survivor, this brought me to motherf*cking tears. Boy I cried when he said "they'll give me anaesthesia" while smiling and after that he looked at the other side and his face fell like he about to cry any minute but he don't. I knew deep down his heart he's afraid but for his father, he would do anything for him even masking fear and tears, he would. just for his father to have a second better life. That's a true heart of a man out there.

You said it so true!

I disagree. I don't think he was scared to donate i think he was worried for his father's health as he must of known that even a bone marrow donation does not mean it would 100% work. That's how i would feel, i know with a donation 99.9% i won't come to any harm but for it to work the chances are much lower

1. Don't judge a person by his appearance

3. Don't hesitate to help a person who needs help
