Videos like this help put things into perspective and humble me. I never knew the condition could be so debilitating. All I knew was that it can be caused by some sort of breakdown in the gut microbiome layer, that then causes IL-17 and and other cytokines to inflame the spine, resulting in a "bamboo" like spine, and leading to back pain, pain at tendon insertion sites, etc. No where did I take time to actually step back and think about patients with this condition until now- just the text book definitions of how this condition may present. Thank you for your video and for inspiring me to step beyond the books more. Your incredible strength and mental determination also inspires me beyond medicine and for this I'm grateful.

A lot of able bodied ppl take so much for granted. We can do so much but let little things be our obstacle. I am so glad that this son has a can-do attitude. Living is for the living.
His father raised him right. This is probably the first time I ever saw a disabled son take care of his father like that. Too many kids take parents for granted but the son is extremely amazing. He is disabled himself but that does not stop him from taking care of his father and he refuses to be a burden to other people. Huge respect to the son.
This is touching yet sad at the same time. Taking care of someone for long term is no easy feat even as an abled person, and this man manages to take care of his dad AND himself while disabled. I'm glad some volunteers are doctors are helping them, but the government should have provided sufficient help to the most vulnerable members of society in the first place.
Why is it that people who try their hardest and deserve to live always have to suffer like this? These guys deserve to live more than I do. I'm embarassed and ashamed of myself as a human being.
I with you, I feel pretty ashamed myself for thinking I have problems, seeing this makes my problems look like sand next to a rock 😵💫😢☹️ MAY THE LORD CONTINUE TO BLESS THIER HEARTS TO KEEP TAKING CARE OF EACH OTHER‼️🙏 what an eye opener 😳😯🤔

It's part of their culture. They love and respect their elders, whether be their own parents or other older folk in their culture. Sadly the goverment in china will not support them more, the money they receive is from the local goverment and only because they are not mainland china if they were in Beijing they would get zero support and civilian police would still take their food away. My son has ankylosing spondylosis also, its not as bad as this man's yet. He does however lend a lot of support to caring for his autistic brother. He fights to combat the disease every day. Its truly is heartbreaking. Kudos for this man's ability to overcome the obstacles.
Watching this videos does two things. 1. It shows you the love and beauty that exists in people and how strong they can be. 2. Puts your troubles and situation into perspective and makes you realize that the things you're complaining about or the troubles you are hung up on aren't very big at all.
Just the best type of son, a reflection of how his father has raised him. A real man, looking after his own. He doesn't complain, he just does. Admirable to say the least. Well done brother.
As a caregiver myself, I will never complain again. This was very moving. I'm so happy to see people volunteering to help. Sometimes, a little help can make such a huge difference, to make life accessible.

A lot of able bodied ppl take so much for granted. We can do so much but let little things be our obstacle. I am so glad that this son has a can-do attitude. Living is for the living.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I thought my life was hard but after I watched this, oh man.. nothing compares this dude. All the best for them. He is my inspiration🙏🙏🙏
What a legend, deserves the upmost respect. If anyone knows how I can donate money to money to this amazing individual, please advise.

Wow i'm impressed with this man❤❤❤better than those people with out disabilities!
His father raised him right. This is probably the first time I ever saw a disabled son take care of his father like that. Too many kids take parents for granted but the son is extremely amazing. He is disabled himself but that does not stop him from taking care of his father and he refuses to be a burden to other people. Huge respect to the son.
Highest respect to the son for taking care of his father. Many blessings sent to them both. Where there is a will there is a way.

Me too
I am ashamed of the many complaints that I make about my very privileged life that I have 😟😫.
Dont worry.... I think all of us feel the same way too.
Im also ashamed of my "spoilt" life compared to this amazing man, everything at my finger tips and i still complain at times. I wish i could give him my strength and use of legs to better care for himself and his father.
Lots of pray for this father-son duo, especially for the son because he really want to stand up again. Hope it will going so well😊
What an inspirational guy! We all can learn from his never give up attitude.
This son had to have been well taken care of by his Dad. Now he is honored to return the care. How courages.🙏🏽
It's part of their culture.
They love and respect their elders, whether be their own parents or other older folk in their culture.
They were taught not only by saying its the thing to do (love respect and include their elders in their lives) but it was and still is shown in their lives to this day.
The family always include the parents/grandparents along with children and in most cases uncle au ts.
This video jst made me realise...how i was being ungrateful to my life....and getting upset over my small problem.....the son is amazing.... hopefully they get well soon...❣️ From India...
This brought me to tears! So unbelievable! this man puts me to shame! His discipline, love and drive to take care of himself and his father is beyond amazing! I am in complete admiration !
The most abled man for me. Hat's off and huge respect to you man!! ❤️
What an inspiration this man is. It has really given me a reality check. Caring for himself with a debilitating condition/disability hadn't stopped him caring for his father and sweet rice ball. Total legend! Very sad that he can't afford a carer.....its the least he should be given.
Wow he can do more chores/tasks than able body people.
Huge respect for him and doing all he can to take care of himself and his father.
I’m brought to tears watching this story. 😢
I'm a caregiver. Even if I wasn't being paid, Id help this family out. Even if it was just once a week out of kindness to ease the burden. This is the sweetest thing I've ever seen
agree
Thank you for your kindness

I was crying watching this. He was a very inspiring man, I salute him for showing LOVE & CARE to his father despite the circumstances he’s going through. This video reminds everyone to “never give up in life, keep it going”.
Hey there
@@hillheithold2064 Hello
How are you?
Man!
This guy restores my faith on humanity!
How can you give up on anything else after seeing what this guy had to do taking care of himself and his father. Huge Respect
Looking at him makes me feel super ungrateful for everything I have…he’s truly an amazing human being and I hope he’s able to get the surgery he needs
Hope that when that time comes (said operation)there will be someone also who could take care of his paralyzed father and understood their situation.
Absolutely heart-warming. The mental fortitude he possesses to keep this going is amazing. No complaining. No self-pity. The truest meaning of filial piety.
I hope to see a update this is an incredible man to be in a wheelchair and still able to take care of himself the household and his father
Tremendous courage, determination and loyalty to succeed. I hope the Gov provide him and his father more supports.
Sadly the goverment in china will not support them more, the money they receive is from the local goverment and only because they are not mainland china if they were in Beijing they would get zero support and civilian police would still take their food away.
It is thanks to the volunteers coming to help them out that it is a little bit easier on the son.
Never expect your goverment to help you out in the end they are not human anymore and do not care
We need as a people to help eachother in difficult times, like the great wonderfull people here came to help this unfortunate son and his father.
ITS NOT YOUR DISABLETY BUT YOUR ABLETY AND CHARECTER THAT DEFINES YOU.
MUCH RESPECT
the father is lucky to have him
that guy is real man! he was loyalty family! he doesn’t complain about himself he only care about father more important than himself he just seen okay with it he had my respectfully!!!!
Thank you to the volunteers and doctor for helping them in any way possible ❤️❤️
He is a real trooper. One of the best in the world. Mad respect for this person!
*ого*
Its a pure love not a duty. A person who needs help is helping his Dad. What else world is doing War , hatred , selfishness , bias etc.. 😔😔😔
He is one of the most ABLED HUMAN. he truly is the kind of person the world needs compassionate competent inspirational most of us are disabled compared to him.
I will do my best to allways appreciuate my life even more after seeing this, this man in the wheelchair is amazing and has such curage ,amazing love for his father and iron will.
So touching and indeed inspiring. I have this situation where I am physically and emotionally struggling but when i watch this, i was so ashamed of myself because at times I have the tendency to complain of what I am going through. This man is disabled yet you see in him the peace ,patience and love serving his father. I salute you sir.
@RLB when we looks up we’re nobody but when we look down we’re somebody always there more less unfortunate peoples in this world then ourselves. In your struggling moments always remember the peoples that loves you and the things you do have not look at things you don’t have.
Wow, taking care of himself, his father, and a cat, all while disabled. So much respect. He is so caring. Sending lots of prayers… I hope he can get the surgery soon.
This is the most insane son ever, even if he has disabilities he still has to help his PARALYSED dad.Respect
Великое счастье иметь такого заботливого, мудрого , с сильной, твердой волей сына, человека с большой буквы. Здоровья Вам, всех благ.
This is amazing. Some normal sons don't even take care of their dads, and you still give him all the care in the world.
My eyes were full of tears,Huge respect to this courageous, caring son.May all parents have children like him....
I usually don’t cry, in fact I don’t think I ever cried at a SMCP video, but for this one, i had teared up a bit. Idk what was different, but definitely a very touching video

What an amazing son! Also can we just talk about how he is not only taking care of his dad like a champ but managing a furbaby too? Real devotion and strength! Nothing but respect for him.
Seeing this breaks my heart. We all have to be really thankful for our healths. ❤
I just want to thank this channel for always providing content that allows me to be appreciative for the life I have + to stay humble about it. There are always others that have it worse but it doesn’t mean they give up. I’m really inspired by this father-son duo and I thank you for sharing their story ❤️ p.s. that kitten was soooo cute!!
Agree totally
Well said
So true
Indeed bud. Indeed 🌷
Same.
Staying humble is my motto, but my devil advocate feel the opposite and I can't seem to control it.
Ahh.. Why did this man have got married and had a child if he's disabled?
Just when I wanted to give up after spending 3 months at hospital. Thank you for this video!
Get better.
This completely washed my soul and heart over with love and empathic compassion happiness 💯
I have the highest respect for people who take care of their parents. But this is over and above - incredible! Blessings And love from Canada.
This video humbled me, I have no excuses for my laziness.
All I can say is that I will try to be a better man.
He is an inspiration. I wish all the best for him and his father!!
He is a true inspiration. His life should make it to school books so that children can learn where there is a WILL there is a way.
Where there is love, their is strength and grace. Love is why.
