    Love the VAG stuff you have been putting out lately. Hope everything goes ok with your new place, can't wait to see stuff from there :).

    I fixed hoses like that since those dumb brittle things came out but have been bitten in the behind a few times also. Sometimes they fall into pieces only by looking at them but you know that. With the start button you were spot on. I have a client who is hyper. A few years back he came to me after buying a used A5. He almost gave me a nervous breakdown before he finally understood that pushing the start button twice without pressing the brake, A/T, does not work. He did all kind of things except the right thing. Drove me nuts. Nice guy but WOW. 🤯

      I'm a little late to the party, but I actually know exactly what that fellow was talking about regarding the start/stop button.
      I've had some friends who I was teaching how to drive standard, and when they'd push the button with the clutch & brake depressed - the car didn't start! Just ignition!
      I've experienced this ONCE before, and I've boiled it down to either pushing the button too quickly, or not depressing the button fully.
      Only happened to me because I half-assedly hit the button, and my friends were just being too "delicate" being in someone else's car.

    I have the same car... It's amazing how connected everything is. If the MAF is not working properly you get a bunch of codes - parking brake fault, lean codes, transmission torque limit circuit A fault, and ABS faults..... All from a MAF lol

    Why does the abs module say to read the engine module

    • @LMAutoRepairs
      @LMAutoRepairs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Many cars do that... is the ABS or the ESP is deactivated (usually the ESP), due to engine issues, the ABS/ESP module although has no faults from his own, routes you yo the module that is causing the problem... in this case, the engine..
      👍👍👍
