This show truly traumatized me, I was watching Jackson drive off and was hoping that he wouldn’t get hit by some truck or into some type of danger. So glad he got a good farewell & that april and harriet will be with him!
I was literally waiting for that to happen! There's always something like that driving the plot and it just doesn't feel real that this is the end.

After so many years Jackson did not receive the treatment that his character deserved, after plots where they were only about his love affairs at last when they gave him a story about his profession it turns out that he is leaving the show... I will miss him 😢
Right I never really caught on because Japril was such a huge thing but he really never got to do anything amazing outside of date people 😩

Okay, but like KUDOS to Amelia and Link for looking after Mer's kids so well. For someone who never wanted kids like two-ish seasons ago, Amelia is seriously an EPIC Aunt Amelia to those kids!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Major kudos to both of them!!!
She didn't never want kids though. She lost her first child and the trauma made her be afraid of going through it again... ❤️

She always wanted kids but in private practice( a spin off ish of Amelia and Addison Montgomery) she lost a baby and still wanted kids but was scared that if she lost another baby it would break her. Also def kudos to her, she just had a baby, her sister is dying, she is watching four kids, link is becoming a alcoholic and all she wants is drugs but she held out.
@@Madison1211. who said Link is becoming an alcoholic? All he did was to drink some whiskey and he did it in the garage, he did not want Amelia to see him because he knew about her addiction history. That doesn't make anyone an alcoholic.

Lovely clips of Jackson's time at Grey Sloan which included his soulmate April.
I appreciate they did that especially showing that she was an important part of his journey there and she will continue to be throughout his life and not just because of their daughter.
It was great to be able to slow down these clips so I could take in all his great moments.

Yes plus I feel like Meredith thanked Amelia by doing with her the Parkiston project, cause I remember she told her we've been offered million to cure parkiston and amelia said what and Mer answered by saying it's me have been offered but I ask you now it's ours.
Jesse is incredible and I honestly love how his character reflects his true self and his beliefs. Looking forward to seeing his next ventures.

When I see this (great) way to say goodbye to Jackson, I have high expectations for the series finale (when it will be time for it). Jackson, Cristina and Mark have the best "last episode" in my opinion (even if Mark's one is tearfull).
Seeing all the old clips over the years made me sad. I’m so glad they didn’t kill him off, and his story hasn’t ended. We’ll miss you Jackson.

@@oluwapelumisobowale6751 I think the storyline of him heading out to join the army adds to your point, but the fact that his last episode all of that shifted to him dying and everyone realizing it was him at the last moment added to the shock, unexpectedness and sadness. 😭 plus it literally set the template of nearly every major character who leaves the show dies

Edit: y'all I wouldn't have posted this if I hadn't seen the episode. What I mean is we didn't get to see him do one by one genuine goodbyes, and the other characters should've shown more EMOTION. We (imo) didn't get the sentimental goodbye we deserve.
So yes, I _did_ watch see the episode _before_ I posted this comment, and *I still stand by what I said.*
He did. That's what episode 14 was for. That was fully deidcated to him. Cristina's last episode wasn't all about her either. That was about saying goodbye, which this episode did for Jackson.

He had the 2nd best sendoff on the whole show behind Cristina so that's saying something. Mark had a great sendoff too in that flashback episode after the plane crash.

I will very much miss Jackson. He always reminded me of Mark because he respects him as his mentor and would always talk highly of him. And now that I come to think of it, Jackson may not be a part of the original cast or the first few episodes of grey’s but he was actually on the show for more than a decade. Wow! I dont know how I’ll be able to watch grey’s when I’ll be longing for his beautiful face and positive aura to appear in some scenes but wont be seeing him anymore :(

It's become a load of woke, white-hating, politically correct garbage.
As someone who were conscious during the early years of the show, I can honestly tell you that the show lost that spark around season 12; after that season it felt like everyone is just dragging their feet and even the voice overs aren’t as memorable anymore; but I guess that is what happens when you run for 17 long years, things are bound to change and sometimes not for the better. I agree with the other comment as well that it became too woke, it became too preachy rather than motivational.
