I started crying, because the growth this shows in Tom… it’s incredible. Going out of his way to help others because of how affected he saw those communities were, and not blinking to help. When we first met him, all he could do was brag about how amazing and extraordinary he was. but this was everything.

Tom has grown tremendously... He has relearned the importance of life and that meeting earlier with the chief story teller of the tribe sealed it. But it started long before from in the time of Catherine's surgery and even the affair with Teddy. COVID-19 has taught all of us time is short so you live, forgive, love and make peace in your life. Proud of Tom, Amelia and even Owen.

It's just one of those things were sometimes things happen not in they way some wanted but it doesn't mean the character deserves death for it. And there is growth in Alex in moving pass the hurt from what he went through with Izzie in their brief marriage, trusting in her again and wanting to be the best father he can be to his kids.
Ellen just signed on for another season. I don't think they wanted a season revolving entirely around COVID to be their final season which kind of makes sense to me.
The first season was short like 10 episodes (I could be wrong on the number) they should do the same with the last season. It would be nice if they flash forwarded to the future to when the kids are grown and starting their intern year to end the show.

i see derek's smile in amelia. also, i remember how little zola was and how much meredith loved her when she was a baby and how much she fought to keep her.
They both did but She was Mer first she got so much attachment just like a mother does if they carried her but for both of them it was their daughter first sight ❤ even though despite her being attached to death to Derek from day one daddy Little girl who he loved to prices. Mer turned into a tiger when she saw Zola was going to be taken from her and did everything she could to make sure that was not going to happen. But no matter how much she tried to make it right it hurts her heart and her soul to it's core and she made sure she knew what she liked and wanted for Zola usual day and night even for what she has in her crib only a true mother knows that. So she is Zola mom but I need to cook salmon on this one. I have a feeling that rather than making a choice between 2 families she would have wanted the family that was best for Zola even if it wasn't her and Derek adopting little Zola because that's A true Mother they would make sacrifices for the better of the family
This scene between Jackson & Tom was everything! So poignant. So current. Great send off for both of them. Jackson’s send off was the best since Christina’s.
I love this ending for Tom. Such a good soul... I never really understood why the hate for this character. He's been in so much pain after the lost of his child and dealt with grief in a peculiar way that may be morally offensive for some , but as a parent I can't imagine bigger grief than losing a child you have raised. He loved with all his heart but the love was not returned. He saved people lives and was so underappreciated. So he was cocky and arrogant. Can't anyone see that was a shield from being more hurt than he already was? I really love how he's just being honest even in the face of hostility!!
Yep. Defense mechanism. Instead of depression or beating himself up over it he decided to force himself to be cocky/arrogant like you said. I’m sure he was a little cocky to begin with as he’s a brilliant doctor but his son’s death absolutely played a part in him being the Tom we knew. I love his and Jackson’s ending. It’s such a bummer we got an awful one with Karev.

Grays was so brave to get to the top of everything that was going on with this subject that everyone was going through. I had become vaccinated after my dad passed away you know that changed everything for me seeing how a parent can die so young that they are now not able to see their children and grandchildren growing up 😢 it breaks my heart that they are going to miss that opportunity to have that chance to have that relationship like I did with my grandparents that were lucky enough to receive the opportunity to raise me from a baby but also like Derek encouraged me to have some form of relationship with them my biological father and my biological mother and my biological siblings

I know that is a just a tv programme and I do not normally get emotional, but when Meredith came through the door and calling her children and they all ran up to her just set me of teary eyed. Meredith and children hugging each other and derek not being there with them to do this when he should be, this is the reason why.
As long as Merideth is on the show there will ALWAYS be a point to another season. She IS the show! It all centers around her and yes we love all the characters that have come and gone but the show is called Grey's Anatomy. No one else's name means more than hers so until she leaves there is always going to be potential for another season
Sometimes less means more, more time to focus on the characters that are left, better stories.. because having a bigger cast would just spread the writers very thinly at this point. And I hope they take this opportunity to conjure up new ideas
It is possible for two people to fall so in love, very rare but you have to really want and love that person. They loved eachother so much that she wanted to be with him so bad but her kids were too important for her to leave. Season 17 was really good, different but she got be on her death bed to see everything that was important for her to see.

i literally cried within twenty seconds just because seeing mer with her kids makes me so happy for her. but derek should be there. his kids are going to have to grow up without a dad just like he did and i feel so awful about that. honestly shonda and the other writers should not have had him die.
I have started watching greys after a very long time I rewatched season one and I am like can’t believe this is the same Meredith. Like everyone looked so young almost kids compared to now. Now meredith has three grown up kids. I just miss MerDer so much. Wish we cud see how they wud have been as co parents. Even though they were scenes with zola they were fewer scenes with bailey. I actually really like Tom’s character. This is so sad 😭😫
i literally cried within twenty seconds just because seeing mer with her kids makes me so happy for her. but derek should be there. his kids are going to have to grow up without a dad just like he did and i feel so awful about that. honestly shonda and the other writers should not have had him die.

I have started watching greys after a very long time I rewatched season one and I am like can’t believe this is the same Meredith. Like everyone looked so young almost kids compared to now. Now meredith has three grown up kids. I just miss MerDer so much. Wish we cud see how they wud have been as co parents. Even though they were scenes with zola they were fewer scenes with bailey. Miss MAGIC

Karasic found his heart and I’m glad he did , I knew there was a good guy in there somewhere. He’s been though his own kind of hell in the past and turned bitter I don’t think he should turn his back on his own kind but I do think he should use his knowledge to help make a change for the better in the world.
