The GL Grandia Tourer is the perfect van for corporate and employee shuttle services. Philippine Airlines can purchase this as transport for their cabin crew from their headquarters to the airport and is the perfect replacement for their ageing Innova and Rosa fleet.

Actually they bought Hyundai H350s for the pilots and cabin crews but sadly just after 4 to 6 months all of the H350s experienced numerous issues and one of them is the clutch.

These should really come to the USA. Vanlifers would adore these. Toyota reliability and that kind of MPG would go very far for that market.

As a tradesman, I would also like these to come to the states. Nissan and mercedes have the only decent vans here.

I pulled up this video thinking Toyota finally made a camper van. However the host is hilarious and quite informative. Good video.
Well the Tourer is great if you plan on Customizing it to be like a Mobile Home, and the Super Grandia is great for comfort but again if you are not planning to Customize any of them, I think the Super Grandia is much better choice compare the Price it's not that much far from each other and also the Super Grandia has more Safety Features.

The alphard seat also has a table ventilated massaging seat and many other features on the executive lounge (the real one not the one with the grandia seat)
It would be ideal if the super grandia seats 7 so it's more comfortable. Plus wished the engine was much smaller like 2.0L so efficiency is better

I'm curious if the Commuter Deluxe can still be configured from 14 to 18 seater by installing bench-type seats at the rear? Because the previous Hiace Commuter can. It is now also way more expensive at 1.6M so many UV Express operators can no longer afford it. Perhaps TMP could bring in the smaller Toyota Proace from Europe? Problem is it's not a real Toyota but a rebadged Peugeot/Citroen van and the diesel engines are provided by Ford, thus will complicate TMP's supply chain. It is also FWD not RWD so its workhorse capability is questionnable.
AND YEAH,.Abit of a downer by the way is the lack of cargo space like 5-6 (lugauges nor boxes) that's in that case,,..Having delivering it to you via to your airport nor to your hotel get trip vacation! Will definetly.BE! A HASSLE too

Given that the Starex' current generation is like 13 years old, the Urvan is 8 years old, and Photon are copies of the previous generation HiAce, this doesn't compare.

Well fitting those parts on the hiace will be as expensive as buying the super grandia.
Love the Size n Two tone Seat cover of the TOURER.I just can't figure out Why TOYOTA puts the "17" tires on the Grandia ELITE instead on the Much Bigger TOURER with only has "16" Tires?!?
Smaller rims size means thicker tires. Since the tourer is heavier and bigger than most variants, I think the specs of the wheels compliment its purpose. Whereas if you have a larger rims size, the tire is much thinner. But the two have the same diameter overall. Only different in rim size and tire thickness.

I plan to buy a 2nd hand Fortuner but many are in diesel. I'm just worried it might get slowly slowly discontinued. Is diesel still widely used there in Pinas?

The reason it has such a big door covering the fuel tank opening is that in more sophisticated markets; you will also find the filler neck for the diesel exhaust fluid.

In Vietnam, Toyota's price is 3 times higher than the Philippines, Vietnam has not sold this Hiace 2020 Gran model to the market, I like van hiace like this. when will there be a new van hiace Van 2020?
