I figured from the start it would be trombone, but that trumpet's speed was incredible! So jealous!
WHAT DO YOU MEAN!!! OFC THE STUPID TRUMPET PLAYER WON. Hes just showing off like every other trumpet player.
I'm just joking he had good technique
Trombone didn’t articulate so I don’t think it counts.
I feel like trombone would be the hardest. It requires a lot more arm movement
@@layz_gaming_4275 Definitely. I just play percussion so I dunno how hard it is to do that XD
@@SylveonGamerJake I feel you on that one 💀 i have to write out horn parts for a band I'm making
Trombone not only did he play the scale, but he hit every note in-between the notes, what incredible skill 🤣🤣🤣
Ong trombone on top 🐐🐐
He didn’t even play the scale
@@q12aw50 that's why it's funny.
@@q12aw50 no, really?!
@@q12aw50 wdym he played it flawlessly
Remember: switching to your secondary instrument is always faster than changing the valves on your primary
And you'll run faster without your instrument selected.
Lol
Lmfao this is gold
Id buy the brass instrument gun variants on warzone 2 tbh
hold on CHANGING? you guys have spare valves??
Well it depends on the person playing too
As a French horn player, I was genuinely impressed by how fast the French horn player played her chromatic.
same 😍😍😍 i’m a right handed person and i’m like omg such swift
Rotary valves help. Rotary trumpets are the norm in Europe, and I suspect that fact is part of the explanation.
Same I play French horn too
i’m beginner horn player and i suck at it 🤠
@@rinmondu you're in good company. Give it time. The fact you realize you're not good yet means you can discern good from not so good. That's a key to learning. The more you learn about something the more you realize you don't know, so you learn that, too. Lather, rinse, repeat. One day, you're an expert teaching kids who tell you they suck at it.
Jokes on you when the drummer arrives
I’d love to see a drummer play a chromatic scale on a set
A drummer would have to spend 45 seconds googling what a chromatic scale is and another 2 minutes figuring out which drums are higher and which ones are lower.
But a drum isn't a brass instrument 😅
As a drummer, one ouch, and two, since when was drums a brass instrument?
But to be fair, I do also play the cello, and am starting the saxophone.
So still no brass instruments for me.
@@TheNefastor make it out of brass that might count???? 😂
As a current trombone player who has also played euphonium and tuba: my man on the trombone understood the assignment😂😂.
Easiest way to play multiple notes
For sure he understood!!! Lol
:o I used to play trombone but now I play tuba and marching baritone. From one to another, *GOOD LUCK FIGURING OUT HIGHER BASS CLEFF*
I play trombone in marching band you know what you have to do
@@ashgames8885 haha
Tuba guy's end pose is the most effortlessly cool thing I've ever seen.
Don't get out much do ya?
@@Rabbit-the-One Whatcha mean by that? I'm fairly socially active, not always and I do like having alone time to make music and meditate but I wouldn't say I don't get out much. Just a weird kinda thing to say to someone who left an obviously hyperbolic but complimentary comment on a video like 2 months ago.
@@TayTayMakesBeats don’t respond to him man he’s trying to start drama on the internet because his life is devoid of human interaction.
@@TheJackster-tl8oi Damn💀
@@Rabbit-the-One You just got GRILLED.
Even though the trombonist didn't get it, you have to remember us trombone players move our arms instead of fingers when changing notes.
He played all the notes in between so yes he did
exactly. they go from like first finger to second finger and we sometimes have to go from first position to seventh
@@calvinwilliams297 sometimes we just use our ombasure lol right? That's how I won my jazz trombone solos, well between my ombasure and my hands lol
When I changed from playing trombone to cello, I cannot unsee the similarities but instead of my face hurting, my bowing hand hurts
Just like trombone, there's 7 positions though
I don’t care that they lost, I love the first two
the trombone guy definitely won by a land slide
I see what you did there...
No one’s letting that joke slide, bud
@@dissolved3040 Oh god, first the mud slides, and now the joke slides?
Mamma Mia!
@@jonathankorman4031 Nice way to slide into the comment section
Having trouble with these valves, guess I should *slide* back to a regular trombone.
that euphonium was clean
In my opinion, he's the only one that didn't miss a note
He’s the only one who played the scale and didn’t just wiggle their fingers real fast
@@menriquez89they didn’t just wiggle their fingers fast
@@menriquez89if they just wiggled their fingers it would sound nothing like it does in the video
But it was still not clean. Especially tuba trombone and trumpet@@1Nothing1
Me a trombone knowing the whole time aint no one gonna beat our slide arms
Honestly
Fr tho
Bro I feel like my arms are growing longer since I play trombone💀
@@Lord_SQUIDIOUSme too, man😭😂
Yes but they were looking at the speed of the chromatic scale
The trombone be like, "huh"?
It's not the instrument, it's the player.
'Have you ever wondered which is the fastest brass instrument?'
No... but go on
That was pretty go for the Horn player especially considering she has the most inefficient valves.
Have you played the Horn before? Its those valves that would allow her to play so fast. You dont need to push down as hard or as far as the other instruments.
The Har part about playing a French horn aint ain't keys. The keys are awesome (and even has the same keys as a trumpet literally lol) its finding the right pitch on the French horn since its it's longest instrument I believe. Yes even longer than a tuba. So in the higher range alot of the notes are so close together you can accidentally just play a wrong note.
That's why as a French horn player you look for alternate fingerings that'll help you hit certain notes easier. Plus if she wanted she could play with jo valves lol and just use her hand inside the horn to change the note.
@@MadMax22 been playing the Horn in professional orchestra for years and while they are easier to push down and require a smaller difference it's that design that has it's advantages and disadvantages. The valves not needing pressure that is non linear combined with the way the actuate make them slower than standard piston valves which are at the disadvantage of having a longer distance.
@@imbad207 this right here ladies and gentleman Is a guy who knows his stuff. And in less word than me too.
@@imbad207 I’m sorry but I play horn and trumpet and I have been playing horn for less long and I don’t know bout them big words you be using but it’s definitely easier on horn lol
Her valves seemed perfectly efficient to me.
As a trombone player(not recently sadly, I miss my trombone) this made me smile. And also miss my trombone even more
Same

Pawn shops, picked up a conn for like $60
@@daslynnter9841 I got one, I just need to get it repaired. Part of the tuning slide broke off. I need a new tuning slide and have the little piece etracted
someone get this man a new bone
I’m also a trumpet and we all like that in our band we’re ready for things to change about the trumpet section taking over the baaaaand. 🎉🎉
I’m a trumpet player too. And I was so proud how fast he did it
And that's why we keep you in line with our slides.
LOL, figured it'd be the trombone. But I likey the last trumpet the best, very crisp and with each note clearly enunciated!
As a trombone player I approve. He understood the assignment and excelled 😂
Ok, that trombone got that speed ⚡
You could even say that it... Slid into first place!
@@MrJJandJim 🤣🤣🤣
That's what she said 😏
@@TH-camExplore777 bruh
I started cackling as soon as I saw the trombone. The articulation! The clarity! Unmatched!
as an 11b i can say myself and the rest of my unit have always been impressed with the amount of work you all put in to your jobs. thank you
I gigged trombone in the 90's in the DC area. The absolute BEST musicians I've had the honor to sit in with were Military Field band members. And thank you for your service.
Look up, Dave Steinmeyer! He’s one of the greatest trombonist I’ve ever heard. He can hit notes higher on that trombone than anything I’ve ever heard!
I’ve never laughed out loud from a video this much in my lifetime.
You haven’t watched enough videos.
lmao 😂 you didn't live then
I love the look on their faces when they finish lol
Trombone brothers please play your instrument if you still have it! It feels good to play again.
Aye
Just got one from the pawn shop
@@LameWaysArtistry make sure to clean it
That goes for all instruments.
All their personalities match their instruments so well. Particularly Mr. Euph and Mr. Trumpet
The trombone one was un-ironically so accurate
Yes, and euphonium player!! My people!!
Me too
Me too
Godspeed trombonist
Former Army band player myself 02L. that Tbone had my rolling.
Baritone player had the best combo of speed and tonality. Well Done Sir!
I don’t think the instruments are actually what is more or less fast, it’s the musicians and their capabilities
Thank you for your service, all of you! God bless!
Glad they put euphonium first I usually don't see my instrument on youtube
Same omg
JUSTICE FOR EUPHONIUMSS!!!
Trombone players end up being everyone’s favorite 😆
We the best music
the faces when they stop 😭😭😭
In love with the tuba player. The look on his face was smile worthy.
Then again, I play tuba, so I may be slightly biased
Glad to see they started with the best instrument!
Hahahahahah the trombone Though.
I was so in for a Trombone hahahah
That trombonist reaction gets me every time lol
I was already pumping my fist as soon as I saw the trombone player! Well played!! 😂😂😂
Dude Colella, good to see you. (Rhine from the 122) Proud of you man.
My heart dropped because I thought the first guy was going to slam it on the ground.
I’m so happy you included euphonium
Trombone player: fu** this s#%*
The second guy said “🧐”
Trumpet is amazing!
It takes real talent for tubas push air throughout the whole instrumental, articulate the notes enough to have clarity, and run through the entire run with a singular breathe. #TeamTuba #ContraLife
I'm concerned for any tuba player that has trouble playing a three second part in one breath
Fellow tuba. But screw the contra. Marching with that must suck!
@@johnroberts4456 .....It takes a special breed. Trust me. The men and women who get it...get it
@@J-Strength1 not saying you're wrong. But I'll take my sousa marching
It also takes alot of air to play a French horn, especially a double horn which is almost double if more piping.
Legend says the last guys timer hasnt stopped yet

bro, you missed the real beauty. the woman there
Trumpet GANG 🎺
i love this stuff because it reminds me of my aunt who was in the 126th army band for 30 years as the bus driver and tuba player
First time i ever heard of a woman playing the Tuba!
My bad she was in the 126th army national guard band

I play the FRENCH HORN
as somebody who used to play trombone, that was such a trombonist thing to do 😭😭😭😂😂😂
Haha! I saw the trombone and was like, "Oh, this dude's screwed." Egg on my face, he _nailed_ it!
I wish I would've seen this side of the Army. Love this channel.
As a trombonist, my boy's got style, haha!
I didn't know this was a question I wanted an answer to but damn was I impressed.
Bro on the trombone literally hit every note
Someone buy this man a beer 🍺
That trombone slurred everthing
As a euphonium player, I can’t believe that he was able to go that fast because the buttons are not as easy to push down, unlike the flute or clarinet.
I thought brass instrument valves were easy to press on as a beginner clarinet player
I used to play the trombone at school. I always enjoyed the fact that a trombone is the only brass with no buttons but a slide. I also realised it is the only instrument that can do what's called a Glissando, a sliding note. But yeah that trombonist really got the right idea. And I love his response.
Wind instruments with open holes can do glisssando as well.
th-cam.com/video/lzYq6sfX2cs/w-d-xo.html
lots of instruments can Gliss.
Aw yeah! The trombone one was accurate! 😆I play Trombone too! All the valve instruments are quite fast! Good stuff, man! 😁👌🏻
I love brass instruments, they just sound so beautiful to me.
i love your tuba player he's so sassy
I soon as I saw the trombon im like this should be good xD
Cleanest euphonium EVER!
I'll be giggling at this all day.
I’m loving the Top Gun reference!
Such a typical trombone player. Love it.
As a trombonist, doing that in one breath and maintaining that tone was impressive
The Tuba was the most impressive if nothing else
Sus trombone is sus, lol. Glissando approved 👍
I’m more impressed that two of them managed to both hit exactly 2.40 seconds.
I’m a trumpet and trumpet won. It articulated and went higher than everyone else.
I love trombón 😂🙏🏽🔥🏃
Where my Euphonium players at in these comments? 🔥

Go trombones! 😄
One of my former music profs (tbone player) always said Trombones are tuned in heaven by God himself lol
Eyebrows tune. ... See epic low brass.
I agree with your prof
The chromatic scale for trombone isn't actually as simple as sliding it all the way out and back in. But it's always funny watching these things.
I love you guys, and it takes a special talent to be one of these great musicians.
Ah yes, thank you for reinforcing my love for the trumpet.
