Hi. I'm very sorry of the late reply. I used 4 skeins (1 of each color). Each skeins is 111.5 yard/102 meters and I still have some leftover after the project. It also depends on the size you are going for. You can also handknit the cardigan but it is more likely to create loose stitches. You can maybe use a thicker yarn for handknitting I hope that answers your question! ☺
