Hey, really enjoyed the video!! Don’t know if you knew this, but the reason that your second order of the yellow was a slightly different colour will most likely be from a variation when dying the yarn. When you buy yarn for a big project, it’s always a good idea to do the maths and figure out how much of each colour you will need beforehand, and then check on the label if the yarn come from the same dye lot, that way it will be the same! Hopes this helps, love the final product ❤️❤️❤️
yes girl! keep at it, keep knitting and you should try our crochet too (its fun too). I've been crocheting since I was 7 and I've dabbled in knitting too but you inspired me to knit this sweater too and i cant wait to see how it turns out
I'm planning to make this sweater too and I've watched a few of the videos of other ladies making this. I just love that you attached your front panels like that. That's really smart. 🙂
I hope this makes sense (if not please ask more questions): so i made the whole back 'panel' starting from the bottom(waist) with yellow then changing to pink then finishing at the shoulders with blue. and then when i was done with the back I didnt finish off the stitch so the loops were still hanging out. My sweater was 18 loops across (which was honestly too many) so i continued knitting and switched colors but instead of going all the way across I just knit 6 loops across and then just kept going until that skinny 'panel' was as long as the whole back I had knit and closed that side. I then did the same thing again to make the other 'panel' but left 6 loops in the center empty. Afterwards I went in with some extra blue yarn and did a janky attempt at a closing stitch and just sorta knotted where I could. In simpler terms: 1. Make the back like normal but dont do the finshing stitch 2. just keep knitting but not all the way across 3. leave space 4.repeat. For more info on the closing stitch i'm talking about check out the videos I linked in my bio. I hope that makes sense~
Ooops Right, I could have checked that before. Thanks so much for answering though. 😊 by the way I think your sweater turned out the best compared to all the videos out there 🥰
