***PSA*** Hey guys let me know if the DISCORD link works fine or not! Just to reiterate the DEADLINE TO ENTER is - Wednesday, Dec. 16th GOOD LUCK!!! discord.gg/9ku8x9rrnr
Thanks man that means a lot! Will be working on new content soon, may have to also pivot to doing more livestreaming either on here or on twitch just cause I have school/work now. Thanks for your comment!
I really appriciate your stuff. I’ve been looking into VR for desktop work. I like your other videos on that. Feel like I have an idea of what will work. Keep pushing man.
I will continue to try if not just for awesome comments like this one haha I am actually in immersed right now working on my next video :D It's worth it man, once you have the headset comfortable enough it's pretty amazing to be able to use multiple overlays for work. Got a quest 2?
If light bleed is something that's bothered you in other headsets I would not recommend this Mod. Having a slightly larger nose gap isn't something that's ever bothered me so I can't speak on it. Thanks for the comment!
I don't know what it is about the lenses on this headset being pushed extra close to my eyes. The only way I can describe it is that its a similar feeling to having my IPD slightly off, where normally I would just readjust the IPD correctly this just takes a little adjusting the position of the headset on my face and a little time for my eyes to adjust for everything visually to feel fine. I'm thinking it probably has something to do with how the lenses are really clear in the center and slightly blurred approaching the edges.
MRTV Franken Mod i think was a mistake to tell people to use it. It only works for certain head types and not for glasses and doesn't give you the ability to customize or close up the major light bleed in the nose area. I get he was trying to help people out with a quick and dirty "fix" but with the majority of issues with just a simple mod I feel it shouldn't have been suggested. A 3D printed gasket with individualized pad and nose guard is the best way to go.
If you have to use glasses yeahhh this MOD is definitely not for you haha Not sure about the head type thing though, this mod is actually relatively simple compared to a lot of what I've seen suggested on reddit and by other youtubers. I've never really had any issues as far as having somewhat of a nose gap impact my experience in any way but I can see some people maybe being bothered by it. I'm pretty used to the whole headset modding thing coming from using a pimax headset for a bit and doing a bunch of modding on my Quest 1 so it's nothing new to me. I'll have to look into getting a 3D printed gasket for testing that sounds like a pretty interesting way to go. Thanks for the comment!

How is the light bleed with this mod? Is it comfortable on the nose without the noseflaps? Thx 👍😉
It's pretty bad for me this way. Its.quick and easy but not ideal. I just printed out a gasket and out a 16mm pad and nose pad, perfect

the vr cover is available nowhere. Besides that you will increase your fov but the image looks wrong somehow. Like you noticed too
lol my bad, I'm way late to comment back. The vrcover for the Odyssey+ seems to be in stock as of now.
Thanks for your comment!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Frankenfov MOD.
Can you be more explicit about it being off image wise ?
Have you tried to adjust the IPD ?

A 3D printed gasket with individualized pad and nose guard is the best way to go. - how do i do that?

@@EverythingBattletech wouldn't you need 3d scan of your face and of the g2 for a fitting gasket?
@@bestboy007 nono, just with the v9 version off thingy verse. Fits almost all people because you can modify the gasket
