I've been playing Elden Ring on Xbox one and I just bought the Xbox series X a couple hours ago.... what a BIG difference. It looks SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better and plays even more better
I just recently bought the xsx a couple days ago, and what I’m hoping to accomplish with this console is getting able to play most of the future exclusives coming out, I’m talking fable, state of decay 3, elder scrolls 6, hell blade 2, avowed and many more before Xbox releases their new console, feels good playing on the most powerful console currently and I’d also want to feel that I’m actually on the most powerful console so Xbox should keep up the consistency of releasing games that utilises the most of xsx power
I am looking to purchase the Xbox Series X console here within the next week or so. I know you stated that you haven’t had your console long and that you just recently purchased it, but how do you enjoy it so far? I have never bought a console before but am fairly familiar with PlayStation and their user interface as a family member owns a ps4 that I use on occasion so I am slightly hesitant to change platforms. I am still leaning towards Xbox at this time but please let me know what your thoughts are on the console if you could. Thanks.

The Series X is not a small console, but the original PS5 dwarfs it in size, pictures don't do justice to how big the PS5 was. It's also noisier, not PS4 jet taking off level, but most PS5's have coil whine, and it's a lottery of how bad because they use multiple manufacturers for their fans too. Xbox Series X runs extremely quiet, again just an example of being a better in terms of design. When it comes games, it's very subjective. The weirdest argument you hear from PS5 fan club is no need for Xbox because of PC. Well that's silly, as PC is not a console, and while Xbox games are also on PC, console players play on console because they want to play on a console and not PC. Most Sony games go to PC too, for instance Days Gone which was the last PS exclusive I really enjoyed. Spiderman 2 I couldn't get into, and the rest are mostly remakes, I mean I played last of us on PS3, PS4, and I couldn't even bring myself to pay $70 to play it on PS5 all over again. On Xbox it would be free with game pass, as are all Microsoft owned or affiliate studios. This brings it to the value point, Xbox is better value this generation. The hardware itself is cheaper due to better sales and pricing. Sony price their exclusives at $70 minimum per game, Xbox put Exclusives like Star Field, Forza, State of Decay, Microsoft Flight Simulator etc on Game Pass day 1. Given Microsoft now own Activision, Cod games will all be on the Game pass before long too. Sony have negotiated to have 10 years more of Cod though, so Cod won't be a Microsoft exclusive anytime soon, even if there may be a few aspects of content that are exclusive in years ahead, plus the overall development of the Game will be towards Xbox given it's an in-house studio for Xbox now, so it'll run best on Series X. Now to not take away from Sony, they do have exclusives, instead of Forza they have Gran Turismo, they also have Wolverine at some point in the years ahead. Spiderman and God of war are the big two most players go on about. I got bored of Spiderman 2 quickly and found the story to be flat and somewhat irritating at times. It's overrated, only so much swinging past buildings that you can't go inside of before it gets boring. In the long run i am more interested in the Microsoft exclusives now. I've always liked Bethesda games, fallout and Skyrim two of my favourites. Not only are the previous ones all on the gamepass and run well on the Series X, all future ones will be on Xbox and PC only, so for anyone who wants to play the next Skyrim (Bethesda's next game in development) on console, then they are going to have to play Xbox to do that. Obviously both the Series X and PS5 disc drive edition can play dvd, Blu-ray, 4k blu ray and various digital media services too, always a side perk. If you can still get a Series X on a deal, it's a solid purchase. I've played it heavily for the last week and am enjoying the system. Given I was coming from playstation I was curious how the Xbox controller would feel, obviously it doesn't have some of the dual sense features, but it feels fine in the hand and the differences in stick layout isn't a problem, I actually think on shooters I prefer it that layout. The dual sense has a few games where the features really add something, but I'm talking a few games here, and for online competition I would turn off the features as it was a disadvantage on shooters for instance. Xbox are bringing their own controller out this year which includes the haptic triggers and such too anyway. Much of this stuff is about preference. I can see pros and cons about both systems. I don't have loyalty to either as ultimately why should I? The PS5 has outsold the Xbox Series at least 2 to 1 this generation so far, which is similar to last generation, this is due to carry over from last gen plus early momentum from a few PS5 exclusives while Xbox had delayed exclusives like Halo and Forza at launch. It's a shame as I think on paper the Series X is a superior piece of hardware. The internal memos at Xbox when the PS5 was revealed also showed that, as Xbox was excited that their console under the hood is superior. It's going to be one of those generations where people will look back and notice that the best console in technical ability was not the one that was most successful. Xbox ultimately have to play the long game to claw back the equal mark share they had in the 360 era, hence the big studio acquisitions. I actually think they need some better names for their consoles next generation too. Ultimately I think competition is good for consumers, so I think it's important to have both companies pushing. Sony has been greedy this gen, just look at the $30 add on for a vertical stand which the ps5 requires to safely operate upright, so fresh out of box the slim ps5 can't even stand upright without buying an add on now. I don't like that. With that said, they do also have the silent hill remake which is probably the one exclusive that really has me interested in the next year with PS5. You should also know that the PS5 has a different user face to the PS4 anyway, so whatever way you go it'll be different from the PS4 one. Both are very straightforward, I had no prior history on Xbox and it's second nature within an hour, it's very accessible. One other big thing is backwards compatibility, it's arguably Xbox's greatest strength over Playstation. Xbox has full backwards compatibility all the way back through Xbox generations, the PS5 is only backwards compatible with PS4 games, you cannot play any earlier games through it. The Xbox also has FPS boost, which means many last generation games have a frame rate upgrade from 30 to 60, for instance Fallout 4 on Series X is 60fps, on PS5 it's 30fps. There's a whole list of games that have FPS boost. Just something worth noting if you feel you may play older games too. It's a niche, but I actually really like taking a Scenic flight on Microsoft flight simulator 2020 on the X, it's a technical marvel in itself, literally fly anywhere in the world using the closest to real simulator physics there is, includes real world weather data, and even fly with friends if you join a page and link with some people, it's actually an underrated game in itself that I never hear mentioned in exclusive debates. It has the 2024 version coming out this year too. I go back to flight simulator on Xbox more often than I've been back to Spiderman on PS5, but perhaps it's because I'm a more mature gamer at 30.

I use a series x as my main gaming machine now I’m a former pc gamer but my pc failed and with having 4 children I couldn’t afford to upgrade my pc, I also subscribe to GeForce now and I can literally play my pc games on my Xbox in the edge browser.
Great vid, you forgot to mention something ridiculously important that I just realized a few days ago. Apparently Sony charges you to store saved data on their cloud. With Xbox it’s 100% free. This means that you will never lose any game data even if you buy another replacement console.
@@kr1dfy453 ridiculous misinformation I’ve had a PlayStation since before the PlayStation plus even existed and I’ve never paid to store my game saves in the cloud however, on both consoles have to buy tier one of the subscription service in order to play multiplayer games that are purchased now the free to play catalog doesn’t require that on either system
I want to get one so bad. But they saying the xbox sx all digital is coming on July Don't you though about waiting? Cause I really don't know if I should wait or not They saying is going to be the same price.

Just before you buy, understand that these next generation consoles upscale to 4k, it isn't true 4k. Some games even make you chose between fidelity or performance, if you chose fidelity you WILL have lower framerates, it's the same with the ps5. People say 4k gaming but most of the time it's not, its misleading to say that.

Got the ps4 slim on black Friday and to be honest, i only keep the ps4 slim for sony exclusives only. After a getting the one x in 2019 getting the series x was a must have❤
Really depends on what you're playing, but for sports, I highly recommend Xbox with Gamepass. The EA selection is huge... BUT... be warned that if you had an EA account previously on an Xbox, you may be locked out of it forever. I can't play EA games on mine because the account tied to my gamertag expired, and they can't fix it. But that's only if you have an account that expired. I was pretty annoyed that I'm locked out of a big chunk of the gamepass games. Online play is identical from what I can tell, I've never had a problem on either console, so I imagine it's not an issue either way now. Maybe it was 10 years ago.
My last console was a PS4, which I sold shortly after launch as I just dont play video games a lot. Figured I'd try a Series X so picked one up the other day. Liking it so far. The 1TB of storage is over halfway gone already though, with only Starfield, Forza and Farcry on it. I understand those are big games but 1TB seems like it'll get used up fairly quickly.
Well not everyone can just buy it right away. I just got a series X to replace my PS4 just didn’t have much use to get one till you could hear my playstation from my bathroom lmao
I don’t get why people care so much about 4K. I have a high refresh 1080p monitor with good brightness. Games look way better in that then they do on my high end Samsung 4K TV that is 120htz. 1080p looks great on a small dedicated gaming monitor.
Greetings from Germany. I purchased my XSX a few days ago and i am very amazed by this console and all the service Microsoft provides for gamer. Germany often considered as a PlayStation Country has a big gaming Community. I try to convince my Friends to also switch from ps5 to Xbox 😁
I will be picking up an xbox series x soon. Mainly for the gamepass on co-op games so me & the wife can play together plus the new games coming out as well.
I had a 360, One, and One X. But I decided to get a PS5 this generation and play all the PS games I missed while I had Xbox. It was a great decision, I fell in love with TLOU and God of War. But I haven’t seen any reason at all so far to get a Series X if I have a PS5. Gears of War E-Day is the first game I’ve wanted, but I’m going to have to decide if I want to pay $500 just to play 1 game
Just bought one in the uk for 360£. I'm very happy with it. Played Forza 5 and it looks amazing. Then i tried Cyberpunk, and it's probably the best-looking game I've played. Even state of decay 2 looks half decent ffs. I got tired of the tiny storage on my series s so having double the amount haa been a big plus for me.
You missing out the best games on console, that console is the PS5, i had an Xbox series X for almost 3 years, after 3 years and the disappointing last year i bought a PS5 in August, and my XboxSX is gadering dust. O boy i missed a amazing games.....Xbox is done for me

Hi! I just bought an Xbox Series X and when I picked it up from the box I heard a rattling noise and the more I investigated it looks like it comes from the cooler. The thing is that the cooler works fine, no noise when I turn on the console. Is the noise normal? Or should I return it?
Return it be on the safe side to really enjoy the Series X I have both X & S their both extremely quiet an stay cool never had any noises from either always be on safe side enjoy yourself.
I bought my Series X recently for £424 and I'm very pleased with it !!! I never buy Consoles unless they have been around for a Few Years !!! I bought a Seagate 4TB Hard Drive for Storing Old Games !!! I bought a 1 TB Black SSD Memory Card for Series X Games so I don't use the internal SSD. When the Memory card Dies I can Replace it, and the Internal one should be OK. The XS Games run perfectly on the Black SSD !!!
Yeah, I mean that’s one downside of the Xbox controller is that if you want rechargeable batteries, you have to buy them separately they should be rechargeable right out of the box, but in the grand scheme, I just looked at it yesterday a charging stand and the batteries for two controllers was only 25 bucksso it’s not hyper expensive to make them rechargeable but still when you’re comparing prices between the two products for the same price you get rechargeable controller on the PlayStation five

Yeah, most of my fighting games don't work on the new consoles. The compatibility kinda sucks because I'm not going to replay any of the games I have that work, for the most part.
The problem is that most people doesn't know how to stop on upgrading a PC, they are constantly buying new stuff, a console is more practice, and definitely more money friendly, doesn't have the same performance that a PC? yeah, I know that, but I don't really care...(for me the best thing in PC, are the possibility of modding a bunch of games)
Hi. You shouldn't loose any progress, provided you have "Live Gold Membership", sice with that, your game progress is saved to the "Cloud", then, as you start the game on Series X, the game save will be there as you left it on XB1. I did that with FH5, and I didn't loose anything. (however, I have FH5 digital version, not on disk). It should work the same. Search for "How to transfer games from XB1 to XBSX". Good luck.
Right but as I as I previously stated the equivalent price tier of PS plus gives you access to around 500 PS4 and PS five games any that aren’t exclusive box that are on PlayStation end up there and it’s like five times the library that you have access to on Xbox with game pass so it’s not really it’s not really a point that can be argued is in regards to the game library you get access to the base level of game pass Sony is bigger and has more modern games in it again the one thing the one benefit the game pass is when you buy game pass, ultimate versus Sony premium service which by the way now includes about 100 free top-tier movies in the Sony pictures core whatever it’s called you get that Free about 100 free with the with Sony premium service and Microsoft doesn’t have anything like that yet I’m not so much a fanboy I’m actually on the fence about buying an Xbox so I’ve done a lot of studying and to be fair. The two products are more or less identical at this stage One major two major differences are you get the first games on day one with Xbox but you get more modern games with PlayStation extra you get way more I mean like thousands more PS1, PS2 and PS3 games with premium but they’re all streamed. You have to stream them right so I mean they’re the services thoughmostly are just equal to each other now
Even with the basic ps plus you get a lot of big games every month. Half of the games on gamepass were already given away on ps plus at some point. The only real difference is the exclusives.
Or just get a $1000 PC since it will do everything the Series X will and be more powerful and will ultimately be cheaper in the long run since there is no paid online on PC there are also infinity more games and you also get to play many of PlayStation's games on PC on top of all that
It depends on the person. A PC is not for everyone. Yes, it can be cheaper in the long run, but it's less convenient to just start playing something, sometimes buggy, sometimes less optimized, and when it comes to upgrades you have to be prepared to spend a lot. Not everyone wants to deal with that. There's also the option to have a low budget PC for free-to-play games, PC exclusive games, work, study, and a console for more serious gaming.
Dude your math is way off. 350 vs 1000 pounds for the Series X and 120 vs 9000 pounds for GamePass vs buying the game. Nonetheless, no PC hardrive comes close to quick resume, be it the newest and most expensive NVMe.2 or whatever else is on the market for PC gaming, switching between 5 games instantaneously has become transcendent. Stop being delusional. Peace!
Also, not a reason to buy an Xbox both consoles have mouse and keyboard support and it’s up to the developer whether they put it in their game and I guarantee if the game is in both places, it will have support in both places
Well, yes, one of your points should be that you can buy an Xbox or a PlayStation for that that equals or a cheese grater results than an equivalent. You cannot build a PC for 500 bucks with anywhere near the performance of the Xbox or the PlayStation five it’s just now possible the component the hardware components alone, the graphic card alone cost more than the Xbox or the PlayStation five
Meh, I would never pick up a used console. Seen so many stories on that and usually there's some type of issue with them like 5% you will get lucky and have no issues but i doubt it. If i get a console it has to be NEW no way around it
Yeah they’re at least twice as much as the same amount of increase in a PlayStation it’s like 260 bucks to buy 2 TB card for the Xbox. It’s much less than that to buy a 2 TB card. That’ll go in the PlayStation and there’s only one source for the Xbox but you can buy any compatible card from any source so you can shop sales, the installation though is if you don’t like opening your hardware up the box is way easier just plug in the back it’s very user-friendly, but it cost you a lot more
the easiest decision i ever made was to sell mine. sorry its gonna take alot more than releasing diff color controllers every month for me to want one again
They’re not non-removable. I’ve replaced the batteries and controller several times. It’s honestly though it’s just less work and cheaper in the end in your time I think to just go buy a new controller but battery last for years.
Xbox X should reinvent Cortona on the hardrive to interact with games in such a way that it injects code at a creator level depending on what players do in certain games that not even the publishers know for certain of which creator asspects will be injected where. XboX should give up gi ing new u ique names for a new console and begin using VERSION NUMBERS. For example XBOX V 5 placed large on the package and then increments when theres a download that will be read in the software like V 5.7
I'm doing exactly that I own a series X and a ps5 slim I don't want to pay for two subscription so the ps5 is going due to the same reasons as you and more games are becoming cross platform.
Thanks for this video. And the reasons you gave should be listened by them who want to resell their Xbox because some exclusive games are about to go on PS5. This console isn't amazing just thanks to exclusive titles. It's amazing for the reasons you gave. In addition, if some games like Starfield goes on PS5 that doesn't mean you will not be able to play any longer to that games on our Xbox.
So your second reason is that I bought a PlayStation instead, but I have a bunch of Xbox stuff left over from back in the day so I should switch back to Xbox because of backward compatibility first of all nobody wants to play games from back in the day if I’m buying a $500 console that gives me the latest greatest gravel Fidelity and performance why do I want to go play old games on it? Why don’t I play them on the old consul.
Yeah, but you can put as much storage on a PlayStation five so that’s not an argument because you can put it on there for less. They both have reasonably close to the same starting storage. PlayStation five can be upgraded cheaper and you never wanna play games off why are you buying a $500 console With an SSD to play games off of an external hard drive most of the benefit storage wise is because of the SSD the speed increases are because of the SSD loading times are because of the SSD. Why would you then regardless of whether it’s a PS I mean XX one game or series X game? Why would you want to put it on external hard drive, you definitely are better off increasing your storage your SSD storage
I was thinking about getting an xbox but i heard you cant play an offline game while its updating is there a way to bypass this because my internet is slow.
Yeah, that’s that’s a fallacy though playing it at a higher frame rate if that’s a fallacy, the game was either made to run at that frame rate or it wasn’t if it wasn’t no amount of you know electronic magic can fill in the blanks the frames just aren’t there
You mean upscales 4k from 720p/1080p resolution and on top of that with ray tracing on it is sub 30 fps ?!??? Lmaoo y'all have no idea about tech whatsoever and it shows it's funny...to run "native" 4k with ray tracing on you need a 4090 right now and that's a 1800 dollar gpu and even that struggles....do some research before posting idiotic comments on TH-cam
You have a sub 400 dollar "at the time" it's back to 500 now ..that upscales 95% of the games from a internal resolution of 1080p or lower...... They lubed y'all up with that 4k bullshit and they got you... And it's entry level ray tracing barely runs and I've seen drops to 21fps in cyberpunk with it on.... What's the point
@a-animal1206 lmao you know what you said is not true , yes they are upscaled but not from 1080p or below unless xbox ss is in your mind ,don't reply to me
One reason NOT to but an Xbox console ... bc all games slowly are going 3rd party. Stop falling for Microsoft antics, they do not care about customers, just their money, as they should.
one reason i will never buy xbox or playstation they will over heat and stop working for good i just bought a new dell gaming laptop i play my gaming laptop with a big smile on my face

Maybe it was 10 years ago.
sorry could you please give me a link to that charging port for the controller at 4:52
My last console was a PS4, which I sold shortly after launch as I just dont play video games a lot. Figured I'd try a Series X so picked one up the other day. Liking it so far. The 1TB of storage is over halfway gone already though, with only Starfield, Forza and Farcry on it. I understand those are big games but 1TB seems like it'll get used up fairly quickly.
Over halfway is a stretch
You can use a Samsung T7 2.GB USB SSD for example as Series X storage.
All Xbox One and Xbox 360 games can run from external HDD and SSD, on Series X.
with those three games, I had less than 500gb available. Will delete Starfield to make room as that game is cheeks. @@awesomegaming5282

Good review 👍
Just bought one in the uk for 360£. I'm very happy with it. Played Forza 5 and it looks amazing. Then i tried Cyberpunk, and it's probably the best-looking game I've played. Hi! I just bought an Xbox Series X and when I picked it up from the box I heard a rattling noise and the more I investigated it looks like it comes from the cooler. The thing is that the cooler works fine, no noise when I turn on the console. Is the noise normal? Or should I return it?
Return it
Return it be on the safe side to really enjoy the Series X I have both X & S their both extremely quiet an stay cool never had any noises from either always be on safe side enjoy yourself.
Why exactly don't you want to use the INTERNAL ssd?
Yeah, I mean that’s one downside of the Xbox controller is that if you want rechargeable batteries, you have to buy them separately they should be rechargeable right out of the box, but in the grand scheme, I just looked at it yesterday a charging stand and the batteries for two controllers was only 25 bucksso it’s not hyper expensive to make them rechargeable but still when you’re comparing prices between the two products for the same price you get rechargeable controller on the PlayStation five

Part of the fun of PC gaming and part of its charm is configuring it to run best for your configuration.

Hi I don't know if you reply but if I put in a disk from my xbox one into my xbox series x for example gta will I lose my progress?
Good luck.
you wont lose no progress as it all backed up to the microsoft cloud
If i get a console it has to be NEW no way around it
I just got mine 2 weeks ago and I play GTA 5 on it. Very good, love the console ❤
Yeah they’re at least twice as much as the same amount of increase in a PlayStation it’s like 260 bucks to buy 2 TB card for the Xbox. It’s much less than that to buy a 2 TB card. That’ll go in the PlayStation and there’s only one source for the Xbox but you can buy any compatible card from any source so you can shop sales, the installation though is if you don’t like opening your hardware up the box is way easier just plug in the back it’s very user-friendly, but it cost you a lot more
Cope harder
And learn how to write properly
the easiest decision i ever made was to sell mine. sorry its gonna take alot more than releasing diff color controllers every month for me to want one again

Sorry but the laptop won't last anywhere near as long as new consoles, with far superior cooling etc.
