- In this video I diagnose a smooth running regulator issue , which turned out to be my injector stuck open. I remove the injector and rebuild it which saves me a small fortune . I hope this video helps you sort your injector problem out too ,
I would reccomend buying one of the injector pulling tools ( link Down below ). This is an amazing bit of kit , and pulls out the injector with no effort whatsoever.

Just bought one that would only start on easy start. Injector was stuck open. Ordered one from ebay but ended up rebuilding the original after waiting. I just used brake cleaner and it seems to have done the job. Mine was number 5 so a bit more faff involved. You doing one on ya air suspension next🤔
Mine was a faff resetting it to get the compressor to switch on after a rebuild. Long story.....
What was it like pulling it out , do you have a puller ? I’ve got some videos on air suspension if you have a look , but all mine is it throws the air suspension code when I’m towing heavy equipment . Hit a pot hole and it pings the code , so I just pull over clear it and it’s fine . You got it sorted though in the end ?
@DrivewayHustlers the injector near enough fell out. Just needed a little lift up and a wiggle. Compared to merc injectors it was a doddle other than having to take off the manifold. You can start them with the manifold off just to check your work before putting it all back together.
The compressor works fine after refurbing the ring in it. It just wouldn't kick off on its own. Maybe there is a routine for this. Had to reset the compressor fault codes first, heard it run briefly then stop. I then had to reset the steering centre calibration a few times along with a compressor code the odd time. Not sure why unless it had got itself in a muddle. Just on with the rear knuckle bushes on my days off then drivers side rear brakes checking and it shouldn't be far off a mot.
Does the car smokes at idle before the repair?
Just started to follow you my l322 2002 cut out wont stared came up on dash fuel injection system never ran again 3.0 diesel dont have a clue any advice cheers m8

@@DrivewayHustlers it was cranking but battery went dead fuel getting to the filter but not fireing renued the injector wiring but still nothing running lovely just cut out plenty of fuel in it as if some one just pulled pulled the plug out if you know what I mean just went dead maybe fuel pump it's a weird one
Loosen off an injector , crank it over and see if your getting fuel there . It’s just a process of elimination . Have you got a diagnostic machine ?
