I really appreciate your videos of these flea markets. It always makes me wish I was there. I remember getting many of those old McDonald's/Burger King/ Star Wars/Pepsi glasses as a kid. Even the Welch's jelly jars I vaguely remember. I can't imagine the time/effort it takes to be a seller at a flea market. Not just to accumulate the stuff, but to load all the items, drive to the flea market, vender's fees, set up/break down time etc. It really says something when you're able to still get a "good deal" on an item

the origional cast iron pieces are very. smooth castings the repops are more grainey sand cast.
Cast iron is great because it cooks evenly and cleanup is easy. its also fun to find one for cheap and not pay $75 for it.

I just read online that old cast iron figures look smooth and feel smooth because they used finer sand in the molding. 😊
