yeah no offense but if your getting a deal already... stop being greedy. i see you help some out but resellers need to take the deal if it makes sense. dont beat people up so you can make 5 more profit.
@@REdwards-f3hYeah, well, the road goes both ways, buddy. The seller was being greedy by being unwilling to knock $5 off the deal, plus he actually increased his price after they removed one item. He doesn't have the benefit of thousands of potential buyers seeing his stuff at the flea market, unlike selling online. So he needs to be willing to haggle. If he wants Ebay money, he has to do Ebay work.
For a flea market his prices were too high. I’d have passed when he said 15 on the first item. Bartering is half the fun of buying/selling at the market and a centuries old practice that affects almost every aspect of business these days
@@REdwards-f3h absolutely I agree with you 100 percent. He says he can't increase the price but at the same time wants the bulk price which is usually cheaper. So when you remove an item and also ask for another discount, then get upset about the seller saying no to robbery. This sounds like a double standard to me. Josh and His wife claim to be these awesome fair people, I see it differently.
i hate going to sales where they dont price everything. im one of those people who hates asking the seller how much is this or that. people price your items
On embroidered items that are worth money, design a support your friends patch and put it over the embroidery. Ppl will then want it to support you plus get a high dollar item (vest/jacket/bag).
I had the same thought! Or even a generic camping patch or something that fits the style of the jacket/bag. Might open up a whole lot of flip opportunities!
Josh, just for future reference, a lot of metals, like copper or brass, can be cleaned by coating with ketchup. You leave it on overnight and then wash. I did this with some copper bottom Paul Revere pans, made in USA, so older ones, and they shine almost like new. The chemical reaction of the acidity in the ketchup removes the tarnish really well. I understand if you want to just do it your way, but I thought I would put in my 2 cent tip. Your videos are a highlight of my week, thank you for sharing your experiences.
Agreed! I've done that method and it works very well! I didn't do the overnight but for a few hours and the copper is bright. Used it on old fireplace copper decorations.... gemeni-dreams

Yeah, I don't think the guy was wrong at all. He was giving a volume discount. If you take fewer items, you get less of a discount. The people at the flea market deserve to make their money too. They have bills to pay, just like everyone else. I don't like people haggling over an already fair price, as a seller at garage sales. Some people just think they have to haggle, no matter how fair the price already is.
@@backroadbirder3316 I mean, he wasn't giving a volume discount as he was just adding up the individual prices one by one. I doubt those were lowered prices per item. Taking one item away should at least bring the price down to what it would be without that additional $15. I think its fair to want to get decent money for your items, but when buying that many items and paying the higher average price for each item it's not unreasonable to ask for 5 bucks off.
Well, when he is paying for the spot and people want to buy stuff to resell it for double or more think about it 😂. He can ask what ever he wants for the stuff the price was good.

Regarding. RAISING the price. Yes, he CAN raise the price. Once YOU said how about this instead of the $80, YOU opened up negotiations again, every counter offer is a RE-Negotiation. You will see this MORE in the future. Remember when you said to the Knives person. How about $120 instead of $130 cause I have all $20's? Well he had every right to say , How about $140 cause 7 is easier. All fair and why would YOU get upset. Selling a bunch of stuff for Cheap at 7am before the crowd comes does NOT do the seller a favor. You are a reseller and should know this. This means that if 4 of you are out there that place is combed through and all the good stuff is gone by 8am if you guys do a good job, right? And nothing is left on the table.

Although the guy selling the trunk was almost giving stuff away, 😅 but he was happy to let it go for that price. You picked up some good stuff.
They were a little pricey
The Edgar Allen Poe Library is right there in Sullivan’s Island, SC. Fascinating place.
I could hear the difference in the clubs. The second one was much higher pitched. Great deals!
It took me a little while to realize that it's due to the lens on your GoPro that all the golf clubs look warped😂
Love that trunk!!!! For future larger purchases, maybe bring bungee cords with you to attach to your wagon if needed. If I wasn't already subscribed, I would have today just seeing Mose's sweet face at the end❣️🐾🐾
