I respect the walk-away from that guy on the shirts. The second he came back and raised the price, and I saw that look on his face, I was thinking 'Please just walk away!!'
scumbag move
I love how polite you guys are. Nice video.
I would do it in a heart beat. He know the prices already and how much he pay for the profit. On top of that those shady racist shady mexicans always play dirty like that no matter what age or gender in thrift store. If they mention eBay, I walk away immediately. I do that all the time at yard mention, Mention the word eBay bye bye
See I’m so stupid and bad at maths I would just be like “yeah okay” then once the deal is done, I would realise and be like oh I’m so dumb 😂
You didn't even notice then that josh made the decision never even consulted hayley which is kinds rude he does that alot like she don't count
I am glad you walked away from that guy. He thought he had you!
yeah no offense but if your getting a deal already... stop being greedy. i see you help some out but resellers need to take the deal if it makes sense. dont beat people up so you can make 5 more profit.
@@user-cn2ch4dd3cYeah, well, the road goes both ways, buddy. The seller was being greedy by being unwilling to knock $5 off the deal, plus he actually increased his price after they removed one item. He doesn't have the benefit of thousands of potential buyers seeing his stuff at the flea market, unlike selling online. So he needs to be willing to haggle. If he wants Ebay money, he has to do Ebay work.
For a flea market his prices were too high. I’d have passed when he said 15 on the first item. Bartering is half the fun of buying/selling at the market and a centuries old practice that affects almost every aspect of business these days
I just don’t think he was getting what you were saying.
@@user-cn2ch4dd3c absolutely I agree with you 100 percent. He says he can't increase the price but at the same time wants the bulk price which is usually cheaper. So when you remove an item and also ask for another discount, then get upset about the seller saying no to robbery. This sounds like a double standard to me. Josh and His wife claim to be these awesome fair people, I see it differently.
Love addition of the “spent” “value”!
Love that u put the Prices in the left corner
On embroidered items that are worth money, design a support your friends patch and put it over the embroidery. Ppl will then want it to support you plus get a high dollar item (vest/jacket/bag).
I had the same thought! Or even a generic camping patch or something that fits the style of the jacket/bag. Might open up a whole lot of flip opportunities!
i hate going to sales where they dont price everything. im one of those people who hates asking the seller how much is this or that. people price your items
My prices fluctuate throughout the day. The leader it gets the cheaper Things Are
@@richconroy5559 i just wish people wouldprice their items at sales.or at least put a sign up like $1 dvd or so
It was nice to have the Price Paid the Possible Selling Price.🎉
I noticed a huge difference in the sound.
Yayyyy......we saw a good boy at the end. Love seeing a pupper.
Made my day to see the Moser ❤❤❤
Hey Josh! I always see you pick up golf clubs and you seem to do so great with them. I know nothing about golf. Would you consider making a how-to-make-money-on-clubs for dummies video?
I loved that you walked away from the shirts!
I also love that you occasionally pay up on some items a seller was low on. Too many other pickers on here will still haggle a low price even lower. I believe everyone is trying to get by with prices that both sides are happy with, not getting taken advantage of. You both are good to your sellers. I always like your flea market videos ❤
Ps. The second club was louder😊
I bet that guy took those clothes home with him 😂😂
Josh, just for future reference, a lot of metals, like copper or brass, can be cleaned by coating with ketchup. You leave it on overnight and then wash. I did this with some copper bottom Paul Revere pans, made in USA, so older ones, and they shine almost like new. The chemical reaction of the acidity in the ketchup removes the tarnish really well. I understand if you want to just do it your way, but I thought I would put in my 2 cent tip. Your videos are a highlight of my week, thank you for sharing your experiences.
Bar keepers is really great and fast and cheaper than ketchup. I once did a copper ham boiler with ketchup 😅😅😅it was GROSS
In high school we used Brasso to shine the buttons on our band uniforms. Wipe on, let dry, wipe off.@@onlyluvisreal6691
Agreed! I've done that method and it works very well! I didn't do the overnight but for a few hours and the copper is bright. Used it on old fireplace copper decorations....

Sometimes you just need to walk away!
Hayley was trying to run so fast from that box and Josh was like nope I’m taking this 😂
That guy was to high on prices for shirts - he crazy 😜
For shirts with resale value more than 200?😅
Yeah, I don't think the guy was wrong at all. He was giving a volume discount. If you take fewer items, you get less of a discount. The people at the flea market deserve to make their money too. They have bills to pay, just like everyone else. I don't like people haggling over an already fair price, as a seller at garage sales. Some people just think they have to haggle, no matter how fair the price already is.
@@backroadbirder3316 I mean, he wasn't giving a volume discount as he was just adding up the individual prices one by one. I doubt those were lowered prices per item. Taking one item away should at least bring the price down to what it would be without that additional $15. I think its fair to want to get decent money for your items, but when buying that many items and paying the higher average price for each item it's not unreasonable to ask for 5 bucks off.
Well, when he is paying for the spot and people want to buy stuff to resell it for double or more think about it 😂. He can ask what ever he wants for the stuff the price was good.
Ammo crate I found 1 at a pawn shop for 5$. The plastic ones are 20$ at Walmart
The shirts were NOT a bundle deal. He had priced each one aloud. He should have known what his items were worth, then adjusted accordingly when you removed or added to the pile. The whole encounter was just odd for a flea market. The seller will learn...
I would do it in a heart beat. He know the prices already and how much he pay for the profit. On top of that those shady racist shady mexicans always play dirty like that no matter what age or gender in thrift store. If they mention eBay, I walk away immediately. "Instant gratification" might have been the phrase you were looking for regarding cleaning the fire irons. 🙂 I LIKED having the Amount Spent/Value on the screen!
I would have asked about the American Flag because some of those can sell for very good money It could have done very well In a antique booth in the frame The guy had very good stuff that had the trunk
I know flag in frame could have done well in booth
I thought the same thing, it had really good eye appeal,
I believe if you read the directions of bar keepers friend you make a paste and let it sit for a bit and then scrub a bit. Seems to work well for me with cleaning.
I learned to always open things. I bought an ammo can for my husband and when I got it home, my husband opened it up and found someones old stash of Marijuana . 😅🤣
Score 😂😂😂
😂 😂 😂
That dude was thieving with those prices. Glad you walked away. You guys are always so generous and fair but that price was not it.
It's at trunk it's worth a 125-150 Is in an antique booths It's a very good item and that's a very good conversation piece to be sold as a coffee table very beautiful trunk
Especially with the original candle box!
Dang! That cutco deal was a great score! The cheaper knives tend to sell really quick for me
Great video! Awesome haul today! My husband and I play golf and the difference in the sound of the two club heads stricking the ball was very different. I love that little ping sound when you hit the ball well! So glad Mose was in the video today. Miss your pupper when he is not in the video. Greetings from Central Georgia!
Another awesome video and great finds! Those Cutco knives🎉. Great job on everything. Loved the golf swings and the birds even cooperated by tweeting😂⛳️!
I didn’t know about Duluth LL Bean, appreciate that lady’s info!!
Not positive, but I think your white special edition Kitchen Aid mixmaster is special because it came with the meat grinder accessories and addition handle on the side. These parts attach to the silver metal round emblem on the front of the head of the mixer😊
That guy was actually rude. I was yelling at my screen (In my head) "walk away!!!" 🤣 Thank You for walking away and not telling him that he was an idiot.
Josh and Hayley! Thanks for taking us along! I appreciate you both so much! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!
Awwww nice ending. Love to sweet lil Mose!
Josh, I'm a Michigander and never heard the term fire dogs. We called them andirons.❤
Fire dogs is what we used to call them in the UK, they originally used actual dogs, but their tails caught fire and then they would run around the house and set it alight, so we started building in brick, then we made the fire dogs from metal
@derekwright thanks now my sides are cramping 😂😂😂
@@derekwright2388lol😂
Nice to see mose in this video. He always seems to be smiling.
You did a very good job cleaning the brass
I like the spent/value ticker. I am sure it takes you time but it is nice.
You might just for ease change it from spent/value to Cost/S.R.P. Suggested Retail Price. I understand some people will ask what SRP is but that is what your community is for and you can explain it in the video summery.
I would have walked away too. Love the box, but i also loved the flag in the old window!
Great Video liked the recap on the driver also money spent/profit enjoyed. KEEP IT UP
Another quality video. Thanks
Loved the spent/value numbers in the top left!
Omgosh i was getting frustrated with that seller
I love your flea vids
Haley has seamlessly came into your team.😀
Love your shows
Never heard an andiron called a firedog before lol
Brasso works best for cleaning any brass
Yes the back ends which go in the fireplace to hold the logs are cast iron
Brass couldn't hold up to the heat
Awesome vintage haul!
The gentleman with the shirts, wanted a bang for your buck. Great finds! Love seeing Moses❤! God bless stay safe until the next video 💓 😍
Great haul today! Love seeing Mose at the end!
18:42 Thanks for the shoutout! :)
I’ve never heard of fire dogs, but I’m over here going andirons andirons
Definite difference in the drivers ... some like a loud one - me not so much since I could never properly hit one - LOL. Also, on the fire dogs or andirons copper - I always used ketchup with a little salt (for abrasion if needed) to clean Revere-wear pans and a sponge - what you were using was too abrasive - then a good copper polish.
No Josh, it was DEFINITELY louder lol. You poor thing. Yeah, those fire dogs are so cool. I don't mind the videos where you get the basics. I watch for ya'll. I think you're just good human beings, your entertaining and fun, knowledgeable, and I always learn something new and have a good time doing it. So, Thank you! Loving the new golf channel, even though I had to look up what a birdie and bogie are hahahha
Nice Deals !! That chest was nice. I had an old 71 Ford PU. Someone had build a tool box for the bed of it, they did a good job on it. I was amazed someone took the time to build it so well. PS. I like the way you added the prices. Very informative ! :~)
Love the videos best wishes from the UK
GREAT VIDEO!!! So fun!! Mike's looks like the SWEETEST dog!❤❤
Loved your pics today.
That was a great shopping trip! I love the “Fire Dogs”! Thanks for the video!
im gonna use that " i got a bunch of 20's" to lowball in the future goodlooks lol
😅😅😅😅
Love that color on you Haley.
oh look... actual dogs. You crack me up girl!
😂😂😂😂
😅😅😅❤❤❤
The price increase was do to a throwaway item. He didn't care about the polo shirt. He just gave it a value when it actually had none to him. Seems convoluted, but common when bundling multiple items
I would do it in a heart beat. He know the prices already and how much he pay for the profit. You got done great buys today!! 🥰
Very good day with your haul. I like the items you got. ❤
You can clean brass with ketchup r tomato paste.
Hello once again guys I really love your videos and content. I’m sooo glad that you walked away from that vendor because we has really being unfair with his price. Thank you both for showing me how to grow my business. Again thank you both.
@@adammonahan687No Not really, Josh was going to leave a Shirt behind & the Vendor started asking for more money! SMH How is that fair?!
Spot on remarks about the vendor. I’ll add …that clothing will still be there everyday at that price until he throws it out.
I swear is brand new.... Well it's got a stain....
@@derekwright2388 I know right! 😂😂
@@adammonahan687when did he say he was doing bulk pricies?
Like seeing amount spent/value on the corner 👍🏼
Really like the way you both deal with everyone. Keep up the great work👍
A very satisfying cleaning!
❤loved this video! It was a good variety of things to show us! And the second hit did sound pretty loud!🤪.. and Moe’s sure does love you!.. so so sweet!❤
Josh, a heads up on cleaning any metal thig I have used for years and its fine wire 9steel) wool and any lubricant, i use car polish and man does it clean up quickly, its great for getting rust off things like chrome, as well but use the fine steel wool. Try it, you will be impressed.
I think your pup would love that Bucky plush
Love that trunk!!!! For future larger purchases, maybe bring bungee cords with you to attach to your wagon if needed. If I wasn't already subscribed, I would have today just seeing Mose's sweet face at the end❣️🐾🐾
Those small blade Cutco knives are called table knives. You got them for a steal! (I live near where they are made in Olean NY.)
Love the price and value
Pretty decent haul prices they are increasing wise buying is important as your bottom line is reflected in the buy more so than in the sale. All The Best! Be Well Be Safe & Stay Blessed.
like the box. A great find
Embroidery @5:21 looked good.
I agree with others, the guy on the shirts thought he could put a fast one on you. But his face when you walked away was awesome! I don't know if anyone else could tell, it was a split second, but great! Love your dog!
You guys are the nicest kindest resellers. Your interaction with the vendors is so good to watch. I always called the “fire dogs” andirons. Your booth is going to look great with the stuff you got today, at the booth where you got the wooden box, I think the American flag framed wood piece would have sold quickly.
Enjoy your content, just subscribed
Omg was that the guy who wouldn’t take you up on your proposed deal at 16 mins in? “Appreciate the deal” hahaha love it.
Kitchen aid is huge over in Ireland it's the best one you can get and what is used most in our businesses too ❤
Hi all! @ 16:18 I think that(The Tote Bag) looked like a brand new Marc Jacobs tote. I only know them because I thought it was so funny & wanted to get 1 for myself. It's way outta my league lol
Great video
I like the amount spent in the corner with the estimated resale value
You guys should get a seam ripper. They're small and inexpensive. It removes embroidered names and logos pretty quickly. I use it on the front and back then pull away the broken threads. Afterward, I go over the area with a lint roller, and that's that!
It leaves holes
Great job in cleaning the brass. I would have walked away from that guy with the shirts.
I noticed a difference in the 2 drivers… the 2nd one made me jump🤣 I wasn’t expecting that.. lol
I’ve had my Kitchen Aid mixer for more than 30 years and it’s still working perfectly. I used to decorate cakes and was also a caterer, ( which included wedding cakes), so I used it almost every week. The one you have has a few extra pieces to it, so that could make it a limited edition mixer. “ Great Deal “ !!
Awesome as usual ❤
The wooden crate is awesome!
The golf clubs’ sounds are considerably different lol, one sounds like it hammers the ball. Thanks for the video yall!!!
I could hear big difference in those clubs. Mose is so cute. Just love him!!
The Edgar Allen Poe Library is right there in Sullivan’s Island, SC. Fascinating place.
Great video. 👍
Thanks for your time and video. I ve always known them as andirons . From the midwest. Now i feel like flea shopping !!!, sorry. No golf stuff for me😊
Hope you see this in time - For those brass pieces, get some Brasso in a can. Used this for over 30 years and it works better than anything else.
Love your flea market videos
You need a “Support Your Friends” patch to put over embroidery! Then just slap it on anything!
I enjoy the part where you clean up the product and show before & after. Great addition. Also, your dog is beautiful!!!
Hello Josh and Hayley 🥰
Great Video Guys ❤ You know I am your biggest fan ❤ Take Care, Jill
The Pink Stuff cream works great to clean with!
I see my next 2 Kavus! LOL! Great Cutco find!
Awesome video
