thanks alot brother!!! I basically didn't know SWC = modes 1-3 then swd = 4-6. I spent 3 hrs trying to get it to work. Following your video I got it in 5 mins!!
This is what makes you great, you don"t hound people for a like then you actually offer strong knowledge base content, really appreciate your effort and attention to detail You the man
Wow, nice clean setup for the various modes in Arudpilot AMP/Pixhawk! I just spent a couple hours watching some different setups which didn't really appeal to me. Thanks for sharing!
dude ... i had to subscribe... i spent ALL day trying to sort this S@@~@ out and i got to the point that i just thought it could not be done... thank you for sharing , really appreciated
Thank you Adrian...! I saw another YT video by DIY Drones don't know what they were selling but their setup did not work. I searched YT for Flight Modes on Flysky fs-i6x and your video got me to fix it correctly, Thanks man...! =)
Thanks a ton. Just got a FS-i6X and was needing to know how to set up 6 flight modes. You saved me a lot of time. My other transmitter is Turnigy 9X with 6 flight modes using 1 3pos and 1 2pos toggle switch.
Adrian: I really like the portability of the FS-i6x transmitter, but I need help planning future projects that might include it. Can you advise me whether the FS-i6X is compatible with the following flight controllers? 1) Matek 2) Pixhawk 3) ZOHD Kopilot Lite 4) Lefei Owl 5) Sparrow Finally is there a list of receiver protocols that can be managed with the FS-i6X? (IBUS, PPM, PWM, SBUS, other?) These considerations are important for me to decide whether to us my FS-i6X or my Radiomaster TX12 transmitters for an installation of the LDARC Tiny Wing for long range flights.
@James C Eastep at this point I will recommend going with radio master or jumper tx12 for their expandability, which you may require later down the road. stuff like external module, opentx firmware, etc
Ok on my FS-I6X Master =8 (2 Position) Slave=7( 3 position) I will therefore apply this matrix to these switches also I do believe I will need to change channel setting within Mission planner
Adrian looks like you have some experience using Flysky with mission planner , I can’t connect my Flysky with the mission planner ,would you be able to help me?
Thanksssssssssssssssssss bro! was fighting with it for almost 2 days till i saw this video. My wife would left me if i would still fuck with it hahahaha. Greets from Amsterdam!
Hello Friend. (Sorry if that is not clear, I write through a translator) I collect the hk450gt helicopter on the APM2.8 controller. Stabilization works, but the problem is that there is no arming and calibration of the controller does not pass. On channel 8, the signal does not change. What can be wrong?? The motor runs directly from the receiver. There were no such problems on the plane.
@Adrian, I need your help here, trying configure the 3 positions switch for only first three modes, I have no problem configure the pwm value for the first mode but once I switch to second position (middle) pwm value stay at 1560 pressing UP/DOWN won't change the value. Any ideas? Thanks
Thanks. This video helped me set up 6 flight modes on APM 2.8. Now I have another problem, ARMING or lack of arming. I have a Turnigy 9X transmitter and it arms using the throttle stick. I'm not able to get the Fs-i6x transmitter to arm my APM 2.8. Do you have a video or can you tell me how to arm with the Fs-i6x? Is there something in Mission Planner that I have to change? Thanks for any assistance you can give.
Never mind. I was able to arm with the same procedure as the Turnigy 9X transmitter. Held down the throttle lower right and it armed. Guess I was not holding it long enough before. I am thinking the APM 2.8 can not be armed with a switch. Saves me a switch.
bro im using apm 2.6 i did accel calibration without quad(only apm via usb cable) after i connect apm to quad and i armed all motor running(without props) in same rpm if i tilt there is no changes in rotation can u help to work gyro?
What is your receiver? I am using a FS-IA6B. I know my transmitter and receiver are bound from flying a different quad copter with clear flight. But for some reason my radio is not showing up on mission planners radio calibration. I am using ppm. so what is up? please help!
thanks to a comment from another follower that happened to me and to his answer, I deduced that channel 5 should be assigned to SWC and channel 6 to SWD and that's how it works, thanks
I don't think you can set timers in the flysky i6x firmware, and for the ASL senor you have to install a ASL sensor in which ever craft you're flying to have the reading relay to your transmitter.
Hello, very interesting your video, I have a flysky fsI6 the old one and I have done all the tuttorial and it does not work, only 4 flight modes come out and very messily, could you help me get 6 flight modes with this station ?. Thank you
is your receiver getting powered by the flight controller, or is it powered by a separate 5v power supply. if its not power via the flight controller when you plug the USB cable into the flight controller from the computer the receiver wouldn't be getting power up so that the transmitter can communicate?
Sound like a yaad man, pity you didnt mention about switch assignment before you get to this part of the setup, took me two days to figure it out, i'm a newbie so dont judge, anyway nuff respect.
thanks alot brother!!! I basically didn't know SWC = modes 1-3 then swd = 4-6. I spent 3 hrs trying to get it to work. Following your video I got it in 5 mins!!
Thank you Adrian, your video was very clean and to the point and it worked well for me.
For me, the Mix#1 needed [Neg. mix: -25%]. Excellent video regardless.

you are a Genius...Who would have thought mixing Channel 5 with itself will solve this!

Sir if we change tx settings so will we have to recalibration transmitter and esc
can i use flysky fs-ct6b which is 6 channel transmitter.....
Hi sir
How can i connect my RC for Radio calibration in mission planner?

JoeBee999 You are welcome. Time, and determination smile. Thanks for looking at my video. Glad it was a help to someone,
Great job!!!Thanks so much!
Thanks a lot. Because my APM only accepts 6 channel input, I mix channel 5 with channel 7 :D

Thanks Mate, new sub here!
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!
Awesome. Thank you.
Which version mission planner are u using! I have done as u said ! But in the screen its not shifting when i toggle the switch
Question , is the receiver in your drone powered when you plug in your usb to your comuter?
@@adrianlee30 yes it is
@@AfshAd so are you seeing any movement when you toggle the switch?
No im not seeing any moment

Hi, can i put flysky radio i6 ibus in mission planner with pixhawk? Or can you just sbus?
Alejo Mesa well I have APM 2.8 and its just sbus, so I figure it will be the same for the pixwawk
Hi, you know? I could not do it with ibus ... I managed to communicate it by PPM, but it restricts the rest of the rx channels ....
How do you know how to do the flight modes with spektrum dx6i ??
At least 3, since dx6i does not have a 3 position switch. thank you very much!!
Alejo Mesa not at this moment probably when I get my hands on one
Very
Goooooooood!
goood work well done
thanks

Sir i have fs i6 when i try to set fly mode in mission planner when i try switch up down its not show moving in mission planner
bablu bablu make sure you’re using the right channel for flight modes. It’s channel 5
@@adrianlee30 sir its channel 6 i am using gps m8n but sir when i fly its working

@@adrianlee30 so sir what will i have to do sorry sir but my English language weak
went you connect it to the computer have the batter plug in the drone without the propellers and that should allow you to communicate
Very helpful for me
Aux. Channels: Channel 5 SWC - Channel 6 SWD - Channel 9 SWC - Channel 10 SWD (Be happy!)
Thanks a lot!
